Trump Crosses Line Criticizing McCain As POW?

The Donald Trump phenomenon has been interesting to watch. Many Americans have found themselves, once again, gravitating to a self-styled maverick running for the highest office in the land, not unlike the popular effort made by Texas billionaire H. Ross Perot in 1992. Like Perot, Trump is an interesting mix of populism, hard conservatism, and even a bit of liberalism, but it is his cut-to-the-chase talking style that has endeared himself to millions of Americans weary of sanitized public discourse.
One of the suspicions many have long-held about Trump is that he���s not really sincere in wanting to become President of the United States. He starting mumbling in 2010 about running in 2012, but then decided in 2011 that he wasn���t going to go for it. This time around, after insisting that 2016 is the year, he has come flying out of the gate with his brash, everyman approach, particularly on the subject of illegal immigration. However, he may have completely halted his momentum with his odd comments about Sen. John McCain���s wartime military service���.and it is precisely these comments that makes one wonder if Trump is earnestly interested in becoming the next president.
In discussing McCain at a conservative forum on Saturday, the 2008 Republican nominee���s service as a Vietnam War POW was dismissed by Trump because, as Trump put it, ���he was captured; I like people who weren���t captured.��� Although Trump, in the moment, likely saw the comment as being directed only at McCain, the ���I like people who weren���t captured��� dig gives the impression that he was being critical of anyone who has ever been a prisoner of war.
So, is this the beginning of the end for Trump? It might be. America loves its military again, and any shots taken at the honorable, particularly sacrificial, service of military personnel���even if it���s at the service of RINO McCain���are going to be seen as poor form, especially within the traditionally pro-military Republican Party.

Virginia Public Schools To Begin Teaching On Incest, Oral, and Anal Sex
Shocking to continue to see these stories about introducing young, innocent, children to this kind of material. I don't believe that the real agenda was for marriage equality, but to bring this all into the schools and brainwash young children.

The goal is to teach students about homosexual, bisexual, and transgender identity.

Does anyone have any doubt that this was a terrorist attack by a Muslim extremist? The media is warning us tonight not to jump to any conclusions about the motivation of the shooter. Are you serious?
4 Marines killed in Chattanooga shooting; gunman killed by police | WATE 6 On Your Side
President Barack Obama is promising a thorough and prompt investigation into the attack at two military sites that killed at least four Marines in Chattanooga. Obama says it appears the attack was committed by a lone gunman, but that a full investigation is ongoing. The president is calling the shooting a ���heartbreaking circumstance.��� He says he���s been briefed about the incident and has been in touch with the Defense Department to make sure military facilities are vigilant. Obama spoke in the Oval Office just minutes after returning to Washington from a trip to Oklahoma. He was joined his counterterrorism and homeland security adviser and the FBI director.

Those sounds, however, are merely wishful thinking on their parts, as the reality is that gun ownership is on the rise in the U.S., with the increase among women particularly noteworthy: according to the National Shooting Sports Foundation, the number of women now owning guns has doubled since 2005.
Historically, we don���t think of women as the target audience for firearms marketing, but that is rapidly changing, due in no small way to the inability of women to feel appropriately safe and protected in an ever-violent America. More and more women throughout the country are recognizing that for them to not only feel, but be, as secure as possible from the threats of predators���they must take charge of their own safety and security, and have decided to ���bite the bullet,��� no pun intended, and start packing heat.

Trump Supporters Cut Up Macy's Credit Cards

Apparently, the reports that large numbers of consumers are terminating their relationships with Macy���s department store over the company���s treatment of Donald Trump, in the wake of his statements about illegal immigration, are indeed true. According to those close to the inner workings of the retail giant, tens of thousands of people have overtly complained to Macy���s directly since the company elected to end its association with Trump two weeks ago.
This reaction on the part of Americans speaks to how deeply the noted entrepreneur and current presidential candidate���s comments on immigration have resonated with ���regular��� citizens who see themselves as victims to whatever unfortunate, progressive policies are implemented by the Washington elites. Macy���s is only one of several corporate giants to cut ties with Trump in one form or another; NBC, ESPN, and NASCAR are some of the others, and each has been ���hearing it��� from consumers who have elected to draw a line in the sand on the issue of illegal immigration.

Obama Has Meltdown In Press Conference
President Obama scolded CBS reporter, Major Garrett, when he asked why we finalized the deal with Iran while they are still holding four American hostages.
Whatever you think of Major Garrett, this was clearly a fair question, and one that a lot of people are asking. The President's contempt for being questioned on this could not be more apparent. In my view, the release of the hostages should not have been a condition of any final deal, but a condition to be met prior to any negotiations beginning. This is quite a moment of contrast when you think about how Ronald Reagan would have handled a situation like this. I think Neville Chamberlain may have officially lost his place in history as the most notable and referenced appeaser. I think Trump is probably right, the Iranians are laughing at us today...

As in 'Black Friday' fashion, the deals are coming and going all throughout the day. You will see countdown timers, notices of upcoming deals, it is a lot to take in. The main landing page for the sale is here. An equally important place to monitor for deals is Twitter. Amazon has set up the hashtag #happyprimeday to announce the deals in real time. As you would expect, they have made dramatic price cuts to Kindle and Kindle Fire.

Geraldo Threatens To Knock Out Fox Anchor
If you have not seen the video, it is vintage Geraldo. Rivera has a very short fuse when it comes to anyone speaking the cold hard truth about illegal immigrants committing crimes in this country. This exchange takes place between Rivera and Eric Bolling on a recent episode of The Five.
It should be noted that this is not the first, and will probably not be the last threat of a punch from the former daytime TV host. Here is another clip from 2011 where he threatens to punch Bernie Goldberg over a similar dust up.
Then, of course, there is the famous skinhead brawl on his his daytime show.
It is amazing to me that liberals can not argue the facts about the disproportionate number of crimes being committed by illegal immigrants. It is also nothing short of blindness to not see the connection to the death of Kathryn Steinle and the 'sanctuary city' status of San Francisco. The parents of the deceased woman are advocating strict prison time for illegal immigrants that return after being deported.
Geraldo is a smart guy, a lawyer, and has historically been an excellent reporter and commentator. I guess when the facts are not on your side threatening a punch is your only option.

Taxpayers Spend $3.5 Million On Gay Fat Study
The study called Sexual Orientation and Obesity: A Test of a Gendered Biopsychosocial Model was conducted by the U.S. Department Of Health and Human Services at a cost of $3.5 million dollars. The purpose of the study was to analyze the difference in obesity rates between straight and gay individuals of the same gender. Full story in the Washington Free Beacon.
The shocking conclusion was that homosexual men tend to be thinner than straight men, and lesbian women are generally fatter than straight women. Seems like it was well worth $3.5 million to discover this. Just another example of your tax dollars hard at work.

Toronto Official Threatens Uber Users With $20,000 Fine
The popular ride sharing service Uber is facing another legal battle, this time in Toronto. Jim Karygiannis, a Toronto city official, is warning Uber riders that they will be subject to $20,000 fines (since the operation of Uber is not officially sanctioned by the city). This may be the first time that a city has issued such a threat against Uber passengers (rather than the drivers). The threat seems to have done little more than create buzz on Toronto talk radio. Toronto is now going into damage control now to protect its image as tens of thousands of International tourists are in town for the Pan Am Games.
