Hi Gail! I just wanted to say how INCREDIBLY EXCITED I am that you're coming to Hamilton and Wellington Armageddon this year! My social media sites have exploded with enthusiasm from other fans that I know. I hope you're prepared for the rush of Kiwi love
Aw! I am incredibly excited to be in New Zealand for these two ARMAGEDDON EXPO cons! I had a great time at previous Armageddon conventions, and the one visit I had to New Zealand was amazing. The readers were some of the most warm-hearted I had ever met. We loved it, and went and ate at a farm that reminded us so much of the Shire we didn’t want to leave.
Can’t wait!
I heard you're going to be at a little comic shop in Anaheim with some of the other writers for Death of the Family. Is that true? And if so, what time?
? I don’t believe that is correct! Sorry!
I so badly want to tell you their names and histories!

I hope to write comics professionally one day. I am practicing writing now. Did you practice writing comics before writing them professionally. I've seen interviews with people about how they got into comics but none of them mention practice. Is it somethi
“Practice” is a tough word, here. You mostly practice to write comics by writing comics, or by writing other things. And is writing practice, or is writing writing?
I was thrown in at the deep end, I didn’t have time to prepare, I had to learn how to write comics on the fly, which is how I think most pros learn.
It’s not a bad idea to find an actual comics script, there are a ton online, and write a script in that format to learn the methodology.
But writing is writing. It’s all practice for the next thing you write!

I just managed to get the last Secret Six trade I was missing, Depths and it's awesome and I love it. You and Nicola Scott are both amazing. Can I just ask who's decision was the Nightwing's butt panel?
I believe it was mine, I asked for the ass shot to end all ass shots, because I knew she would do it better than anyone.
And she DID.

This great Batgirl image is from @gailsimone’s amazing Batgirl #1.
Here Babs is glazed over shell with the defining statement glazed next to her. This pendant is a wonderful affirmation that you can take on anything.
This piece is currently in progress but is scheduled to be complete around March 14th. If you would like to pre-order this pendant email wonderwoman@optimysticalstudios.com
That is gorgeous!

Gail, that 10 page Leaving Megalopolis preview looks AMAZING! I can't wait to get my hands on the whole thing. Jim is ridiculously talented!
Thank you, we are putting together all the myriad details that normally the editor and publisher do so it’s a bit of a massive workload, but OH MY GOD, the art by Jim Calafiore and the coloring by Jason Wright is AMAZING to me. That first ten pages, that’s just the start. This is NOT your typical survival horror story, and the mood they set is UNBELIEVABLE.
Sorry, I’m excited, too! :)
