I need a Catman logo shirt, because Catman. And Gail Simone. Yes. Sadly no such shirt exists.
So I’m making one myself.
Step one: today I made a logo stencil and painted it on the shirt today. ^_^ Tomorrow I’m going to fill in spots that didn’t get enough paint and add some detailing at the shoulders.
That’s…actually pretty much all. Will post a pic of the finished product as well. Whoo, Catman t-shirt!

He chases the predator’s car for fifteen minutes on his bike. He is prepared to JUMP ON THE MAN’S CAR.
Sadly, it was a rhetorical question.
Why Is This Story Not ALL OVER THE PLACE?
A fifteen year old African American boy on a BICYCLE chases a child predator who has abducted a five year old white girl taken right from her front yard, and RESCUES the girl.
He chases the predator’s car for fifteen minutes on his bike. He is prepared to JUMP ON THE MAN’S CAR.
Girl is home safe with her family because of this fifteen year old hero.
WHY isn’t this headline news EVERYWHERE?

Again, for me, she wears what she wants to wear, it doesn’t feel that out of place to me, but I do tend to look at these characters from a point of view of what motivates them to be the way they already have been established.
The excuse used a lot is that it distracts men while in combat, which I’m not crazy about, but makes a certain sense, I guess. But I’d rather she just wore what she wants because she likes it.
