"Intensely vitriolic and homophobic?" All anyone said was that they were sick of the phoney diversity crap, and not even in so many words.
You do know that was a question someone asked me, not something I experienced, right?
I have no idea how the original conversation went down.
But “phoney diversity crap” sounds pretty obnoxious, for a start.

I actually have mostly abandoned message boards for that reason. Too much racism, homophobia, and misogyny. I know it’s not all of them, but it’s common enough that I just don’t go anymore. I got so used to it when I used to hang out on message boards I feel like I kind of just sadly accepted that that’s the way it is and we’re stuck with these assholes.
But it’s not true, they are just sad bullies and don’t know they are obsolete yet.
I think the Bendis boards are pretty good, they don’t seem to allow that stuff.

Do you think Charlotte Gage Radcliffe deserved a longer run as Batgirl, or do you think it was better she jumped almost immediately to MisFit?
She was never meant to be Batgirl for long, she was created to be Misfit. Batgirl was just a dream of hers for a moment or two, until Oracle put the hammer down on the idea (because she felt Charlie was too young and would get hurt).
