Save This City is a literate, newbie-friendly DC/Batman RP that opens TODAY.
Gotham City is known for playing dirty, but recently, someone’s been muddying the already murky waters. When an unknown assassin begins targeting vigilantes with poorly kept secret identities, the unforgiving tension between heroes, villains, and police boils to an all time high.
But things aren’t always as they seem. As clues and motivations unravel, are the Gotham’s people ready to face the threat?
Currently, our most wanted applications/characters are:

ALL ROLES ARE OPEN. There’s over 100 characters, a mix of canon and OC, with more on the way.
We’re newbie-friendly and have dozens of characters available for people who don’t know the comics.
The previous RP the mod team ran lasted two years. We’re people who stick to things for the long-term, and the RP is at no risk of dying out.
Friendly, safe atmosphere with talented people.
Driven, professional mods who try to make this a fun experience for everyone.
OOC fun and all the meta-analysis you can handle.

Comics Pros and Sexual Harassment
I’m working on a new journalism project that involves stories of sexual harassment in the comics industry. Primarily I want to hear stories about comics professionals (creators, editors, executives, marketers, journalists, retailers, convention organizers, etc. etc. but not fans) who have harassed people. Any (or no) gender on either side of the equation. Any stories that are told to me will not be published without your permission and working with you to figure out how you want your story told (anonymously, without naming names, etc.). The important thing for me is that we establish how common harassment is and hopefully point out some of those missing stairs in the industry.

Who are the benched characters from the old dcu that you miss the most?
I have a lot of big ones I miss, but I find I am missing a lot of the minor characters tremendously.
