This is the amazing Rejane Pierre (there is supposed to be an accent over the first e, but I don’t know how to do that on an iPad!).
She completely made my day yesterday, her and the cosplayer who dressed as Red Sonja in the exact outfit from issue three of my Sonja run!

Gail Simone is a lovely human being, but her handler at C2E2 today was a total ass to me. Also Neal Adams is a gift and I’m completely exhausted. That was basically my day today.

Okay, that was a con staffer. I didn’t hear any of that. I will have a talk with him today.
I got the name of the con staffer. Mostly, they are incredibly nice so I am a bit dismayed by this story. He wasn’t there yesterday but I will talk to him today about being considerate to the people in line.

This was an amazing panel, the line was massive, I mean, it filled the huge hallway and they had to turn people away, and the panelists were amazing. Rachel Deering was hilarious and so was the Moderator.
Very heartfelt questions from the audience…I could have listened to the other panelists discuss these topics all day.
It’s funny that most of the questions for me seemed to be about backlash in some way, and my answer was pretty much, “don’t care, I have lots of Black Canary facts left.”
This crowd was so great, it made me really happy.
Also, I’m sorry I had to run out right after the panel…I had to pee!

Meeting Gail Simone yesterday at C2E2 was one of the greatest things ever. I got an issue of Birds of Prey and Secret Six #1 signed, and it was just super cool talking with her for a bit (even if she didn’t like the Cyclops action figure I bought before going to see her).
Ha! I just like to tease people about Cyclops. :)
