I'm really happy about Storm, but I'm interested to know how you feel about all these solo female series being handled by male writers? You mentioned you were asked to write She Hulk, which I'm really pleased happened. I'm just frustrated that there are so
I feel a bunch of complicated things that don’t completely add up, actually.
Yes, I would love to see Storm written by a great female writer. But I am also pretty close to equally happy to see her written by a great writer at all, simply because she is one of the most recognizable female superheroes in all fiction, certainly one of the most noted WOC heroines, she means a lot to so many people and she’s never had an ongoing series of her own.
Plus, I love her, and I love Greg Pak’s writing. So I am too happy to be upset, I guess?
Also, I have to give Marvel credit, they have been doing some major launches with female characters written by talented women, like Captain Marvel and Ms. Marvel, and that’s after having had a few really good female lead books written by female writers that DIDN’T make it. So I have to give them solid credit for not throwing up their hands and saying, “female lead comics and female lead writers don’t sell.”
It’s a big change from even a few years ago. I like that they are putting top people on these books. It is a hopeful sign. I still want to have more female creators on ALL types of books, I think that is long overdue and a big, necessary step to comics staying viable.
Dissenting viewpoints, anyone? Maybe I’m missing something.

I love Storm so much it’s disgusting.
For years, I have wanted to write her. But Greg Pak is going to do the series, and dang, I know he is going to kill on this book. Like Charles Soule on She-hulk, it’s just a perfect choice. Greg will do a better job than I would, I know it, and I can’t WAIT to read this.
If you love Storm, please don’t let this title fall through the cracks. Order two copies and give one to a friend, spread the word. Let’s make Storm a huge hit!

There’s someone who has been getting increasingly creepy after years of making up nonsense about me…is there a way to block them from reading my tumblr, which they clearly are incapable of quitting on their own?
This has been going on a long time with this one, and it’s gotten downright creepity.

My Hubby Asked Everyone Who Brought A MOVEMENT Issue...
…to my signing table, who was their favorite.
The favorite of all seemed to be Mouse.
Followed by Vengeance Moth.
But each one had staunch defenders. There were a couple hardcore lovers of Tremor which I love, since she had the quietest presence.

The solicits for the new Secret Six trades seem to have disappeared from the Internet. Have they been cancelled?
Okay, this ask had me very paranoid, so I asked several retailers. They said not to worry, the announcement of the Secret Six collection, volume one, which will reprint the VILLAINS UNITED mini, the VILLAINS UNITED Special, and the SECRET SIX mini, was announced long before the solicits, so the proper solicits for it have not even come out yet.
So no worries, it appears to still be coming out and is not canceled or delayed!
