No, I have to admit that did not occur to me, probably because I wanted her to be Barbara’s maid of honor.

I am so excited about this, we’ve been planning on this for a while and I finally get to talk about it!
Sideshow Collectibles, makers of unbelievable statues and other genre art products, is having a contest. The prize is one of their soon-to-be-released RED SONJA statues. I’ve seen this thing, it’s HUGE and it’s simply remarkable in every way. It’s stunning, it was the talk of San Diego Comic Con when they had the prototype up in a display case.
On top of that, DYNAMITE COMICS is adding some of my RED SONJA comics to the package, including the first TPB and some variant stuff.
No purchase necessary, it’s just a fun contest and some lucky winner is going to have this baby in their living room just for entering.
Sideshow means quality, everything they do is made to exacting standards, and this is one of the best things I’ve ever seen them do. I am so thrilled to be asked to participate a little bit.

This is really, REALLY embarrassing, but I don’t actually know much about how Reddit works. I have checked it out a couple times and people were very nice…I guess I would have to get a bit more familiar with it.
I just am careful about adding more social media stuff because I am clearly overexposed already. :) Also, I answer a lot of questions here and on Twitter. Is it substantially different?
Batgirls in Futures End: Something very interesting that you may not have caught on right away.

The gear they have matches their actual personality.
Stephanie Brown not as a great front line fighter as Cassandra has the most pouches on her belt filled with gear and tech. She also has a weapon Bo Staff. This set up matches her…
I love this.
We DID actually spend a LOT of time thinking about things like this. There are a bunch of pretty subtle (I think) nods to the characters and their pasts and personalities.
It’s selfish, but I hope someone picks up this baton and does a League of Batgirls book at some point, somehow.

Two unexpected things I am really going to miss badly…
1) Alysia and Jo together. I would love to see their story continue. Writing their little moment in this issue was really bittersweet.
2) Tiffany Fox as a goddamn Batgirl. I just fell in love with her immediately and wish she could have a book of her own RIGHT NOW.

I kinda feel it’s better to let people choose for themselves how Jo got pregnant. People become parents in a wide variety of ways.
But it’s their baby, that’s what matters.
