Did you know that in the lastest san-diego comic-con Ken Penders, a previous writer of Archie sonic, told that feminists were a disgrace to comics and cited your name as an example . He also complained about Women cosplaying, saying it´s immoral.

I don’t know Ken, I don’t know much about him, but this sounds a little fishy.

Anyway, even if it’s true, it’s his opinion, he’s entitled to it. 

But it doesn’t sound true. Is there evidence?

Will you be at Rose City Comic Con? You may have answered this, but I couldn't find it.

I wasn’t going to go, I have WAAAAAY too many cons and signings this year.

But because I will be in Portland at the best bookstore in the world, POWELL’S BOOKS on Friday, Dark Horse Entertainment has kindly sponsored me to be at the Rose City Con at their booth for two signings, SUNDAY ONLY (I will be at a wedding on Saturday).

So I will be at the Dark Horse booth for just two signings on Sunday. I don’t want to sound obnoxious but I expect it will be ticketed or capped pretty early so I suggest coming early so I get a chance to see you!

hi, i just finished batgirl futures end and i was woundering- at the begining before tiffney is named i was sure its supposed to be nell little - the girl that apeared as a potential future batgirl at the end of the pre52 steph-run. the desine is very simm

Nell was not available, is all. 

But Tiffany is super-smart in Batwing, and it seemed very plausible that she would grow up to wear the black and pink!

This has nothing to do with me working for DC, nothing to do with me having worked in the bat-offices, this is just straight talk.

This morning, I got to see an advance PDF of the upcoming GOTHAM ACADEMY by Becky Cloonan, Karl Kerschel and Brendan Fletcher.

Holy shit, I have not been this excited about a Gotham book in years. I am not even remotely exaggerating. 

This book is beautifully written and GORGEOUSLY drawn. Scott Snyder and I are just agog at the coloring alone, and that’s on top of the innovative and eye-melting art of Karl Kerschel.

The script is cute (without being that fake pixie stuff that is becoming the new female cliche) but also has heart and brains and a ton of imagination. 

This book is GREAT. 

I absolutely loved it.

Take my recommendation for what it’s worth. I am writing a book for DC and all, but this has nothing to do with that. I barely know the creators involved. My only bias is for great books.

This is the kind of book that sticks in your heart and needs to be re-read and ogled over.

Seriously, I can’t recommend it highly enough. Tell your retailer you WANT GOTHAM ACADEMY.

You will thank me.

This makes me sad…how come we didn’t meet? I was at my table almost non-stop the entire time, except for panels. 

This is my nightmare, that even if I skimp on taking breaks and meals and stuff, someone will be disappointed if I step away to go to the bathroom or something…:(
