Would it be accurate to credit you and Nicola Scott with making Dick's butt a thing? Or is there a history of his butt I don't know?

Hmm.

I think we definitely we the first to make a big deal about it on panel, and possibly popularized it by talking about it all the time (most of the time jokingly).

I don’t remember, I’m sure others said it first, but there’s no doubt in my mind that we helped make it a star. :)

I was reading one of your BoP issues earlier today and I saw the calm sauce and I freaking remembered the joke Babs said to Dick at the restaurant in Convergence and oh my God that was like a decade old continuation of an inside joke. Amazing.

The cosplay cover to number three was a little complicated to get. This one, anyone can get just by giving that code to their comics shop! And it’s sexy and fun and BEAUTIFUL!  The cosplayers actually went and had SWORDS made to match those in the book. Now that’s dedication!

Well worth it, I promise. :)

What magic-using, or magic-based characters have appeared in the New52 on panel, in canon, so far?

I count wizards and such like Zatanna, but also magic-based characters like Swamp Thing. 

Good and bad, can you help me name them all?

Two Books You Should Get Today!

First, one of the absolute funnest Swords of Sorrow tie-ins is today, by the great MARGUERITE BENNETT. It’s RED SONJA vs. JUNGLE GIRL, and I swear, this thing had me grinning from start to finish. Marguerite has the GOODS, you guys.

I am absolutely a stickler for how Sonja is portrayed and Marguerite NAILED it in this fun romp. Even if you aren’t reading the other series, you should get this, it’s a BIG FAT HOOT.

Also today is CYBORG #1, written by David Walker. Now, I have not read this. I have no inside knowledge. But David has been absolutely KILLING it on Dynamite’s SHAFT comic (which you ALL should be reading), and I’ve heard him talk about this Cyborg book, and I am willing to lay money that it’s going to be a very special book indeed.

Plus, the art is by Ivan Reis and Joe Prado, two of my absolute favorites.
