comics-and-things:

That one time when you are roused from a restful sleep, following a tremendous orgy, by none other than a group of (very attractive) nuns.

(from Red Sonja TPB #3)

Sonja may be hungover, but she also likes what she likes. :)

You’re not oppressed if the only problem you can cling to is someone that was excited to see a fucking movie.

Yikes.

Will You Be At c2e2?

I lucked out and was able to get scripts printed and bound for c2e2!

I will have just fifteen copies each of four books. They always, ALWAYS sell out fast, so please come by my table, A10, if you definitely want them. I am no longer able to reserve them for people in advance.

I will have just 15 copies of Wonder Woman #24, Batgirl #33, Swords of Sorrow #1, and Secret Six #21, all books I hand-picked. They’re a lot of fun, they have all the typos and mistakes, and they are just $15, to cover printing, binding, handling and shipping. Once they are gone, the books will not be reprinted, as always.

Come early if you want one!

Gail, I was wondering what you think of the ending of Legends of Red Sonja. Do you think her allies survived? The animal abuser showed up in your run, but when Sonja was on her death bed and a bunch of people who cared for her showed up, none of her allies

That’s a good question, they probably should have been there but I hate for people to feel like they missed something if they only followed one series.

It was an epic battle, I figure most of them survived!

How would you describe Dinah's friendship with Helena and how is it different from her friendship with Barbara? PS I absolutely loved your run on the Birds of Prey, definitely one of my favorite comic books of all time!!!

I think they are squabbling little sisters and they deeply love each other, but always are a little more serious when big sister Oracle is around…

and thanks!

Are you coming to Calgary Expo in April? How should socially awkward, nervous, excited fans approach you at your table?

I don’t think I have been invited to that this year, sadly!

But you should approach my table by understanding that I am also VERY SHY and socially awkward and will likely recognize someone with a similar condition. :)

Come say hi, fellow shy person!
