With DC having a writers workshop this summer, do you have any pointers for people interested in it?

I don’t know much about it, but I have had (no kidding) fourteen people so far ask me for letters of recommendation.

I feel like I might be alone in this, but I'm very heartbroken that the new birds of prey will be Dinah Drake and company, when I was really rooting for some pre-52 bop action. do you have an opinion on this?

I really do try to avoid talking about books I used to work on, except to wish the new team well and that the art previews looked lovely.

It’s just that it always gets taken wrong, and it’s not my turn anymore. I miss the original characters, but that doesn’t mean the new book won’t be fantastic. It’s also a little sad to talk about characters you miss a lot, so I do try to avoid it.

If you were writing for Titans, what characters would you like to use?

Hmm.

Well, the classic Wolfman/Perez line-up for sure.

But if I was doing a new52 version, I’d go…

Fairchild, Tremor, Vengeance Moth, Misfit, Black Alice, Spoiler, and Starfire, maybe? 

I see you writing a great Jessica Jones IMO

I actually stopped reading the comic at one point, it just felt really painful during the Purple Man stuff, which is why I have delayed watching the series, but I’m told the tv series handles it differently and it’s awesome.

I do like what Bendis did, he really brought something new to comics.
