Did twitter just become tumblr for you gail?

I’m not sure what you mean, but I don’t think any platform is immune to jerks, they’ve been around on the net since before Twitter or Tumblr existed.

All the platforms have the capacity for abuse.

That said, I don’t really consider this ‘abuse,’ it’s just a bunch of people lecturing me like they know what they’re talking about (they really, really don’t). I honestly don’t think it’s a big deal, it’s just sorta tiring.

So, someone asked me on twitter how I feel about Killing Joke.

I said it was beautiful, but I don’t like the book for a bunch of reasons.

Suddenly, TOTALLY AT RANDOM YOU GUYS IT’S A COMPLETE COINCIDENCE HONEST, a ton of random people show up who have never been on my timeline before, most of whom don’t know a THING about comics, to yell at me and make up positions I never stated.

What a useless way to spend the day, I swear to god.

:)

Birds of Prey #102 (March 2007)
Written
by Gail Simone, art by Nicola Scott and Doug Hazelwood

When Lois Lane guest starred in Birds of Prey, Barbara Gordon was
worried. She knew that Lois was a relentless reporter and that if Lois was
looking into her for any reason, like for secretly being Oracle and leading the
Birds of Prey, then she was in serious trouble. Lois had managed to put most of
Barbara’s Birds of Prey activities together, but she wasn’t there to out her.
She was there to warn her to tighten her security; if Lois could dig up that
much dirt on her, someone with more nefarious intentions might be able to as
well. Lois Lane only goes after the bad guys.

**Investigating
Lois Lane: The Turbulent History of the Daily Planet’s Ace Reporter is on sale
now**

I don’t think I have ever written a more misunderstood scene, but you have pegged it exactly. Two of the most brilliant women in the DCU, both dangerous seekers of truth, each with a secret to hide. I loved writing it!

Remember that time Gail Simone wrote an entire comic about how a movie studio was trying to make a terrible Wonder Woman movie?

If you were to work on a DC vs Marvel series, what match-ups would you want to see happen?

This is a dream of mine. I’m told it is very unlikely due to legal issues at this point. But man, I’d love to do one.

Too many to choose. Captain Marvel and Wonder Woman, Batman and Cap, Secret Six and Thunderbolts, Harley and Deadpool, Swamp Thing and Man-thing.

Just too many to pick.

Who is your fave classic wonder woman villain?

I am a big fan of Doctor Psycho, though he creeps me out pretty good.

I really liked this page.

We asked Jon Davis Hunt to draw Astrid hitching as an eighteen year old and this is what we got back.

We had to spray the pages with water to keep them from spontaneously combusting from the hotness.
