Do you know if those comics will continue to be available on Comixology after today? Or will they be archived again? I've always kind of wondered why they don't make more issues of out of print stuff available, like in their GN release issue numbers. I alw

Generally, once a thing is properly up at the DC digital and comixology sites and available for download, it is pretty much always available. I haven't seen them rotate stuff out, to my knowledge.

The thing that is unique about today and tomorrow is the price…all the books I mentioned are on sale for 99 cents an issue right now. I suspect they will go back to $1.99 on Saturday, but will still be available. Hope that helps!

I'm Doing It Again, Dangit.

I know I said I don't do this often when the Villains United series was on sale at the DC download app, and comixology.com.  And I don't.

But right now, both sites are having a "Hidden Gems" sale, and some of my stuff that is REALLY hard to find and expensive is on sale for 99 cents each, JUST FOR TODAY AND TOMORROW.

I am only posting this here because I hear about it a lot, that people want to try these books.  Some are out of print, and less than a buck an issue is a really good deal (it's pathetic, but I bought them all myself so I could read them on my ipad).

The issues include the incredibly hard-to-find and RIDICULOUSLY expensive-to-buy-used SECRET SIX mini-series. This thing can run up to $90 used, and is well out of print.  This is the least expensive way to read this story by far.

Also, the entire Unhinged story, the first seven issues of the Secret Six ongoing, are only 99 cents an issue, as well.

Finally, the entire three volumes of the award winning and critically acclaimed WELCOME TO TRANQUILITY are all available for just 99 cents an issue.

These are some of the comics I am most proud of in my entire career, and some are quite hard to find and expensive when you DO find them.  The sale ends tomorrow.  If you want to see more Scandal Savage, Thomasina Lindo, Mr. Articulate, Ragdoll, and the rest, this is the least expensive way to do it, and they look GREAT on an ipad or computer!

Just passing it along!

bruce giving babs a kiss before she goes into surgery. please excuse me while my heart melts.

HA!

This is a favorite moment of mine, Bruce sneaking in to give Barbara a kiss when she's going to have surgery that may kill her (he also anonymously paid for the best possible care).

The weird thing is, I had to get approval for this…for Batman to kiss someone he loved on the forehead, while in costume.  I got the impression it made someone uncomfortable for Batman to do something tender while wearing the cowl.

Weird, our priorities are very weird, sometimes!

Batman is not my kind of hero simply by virtue of what he is. These moments where he does things that reel him back in. These are the moments I love. Reminds me of a scene in catwoman #71 where he's holding the Selina's baby and smiling. I wish DC would back-off the entire "I'm insane and also a hard ass" thing with Bruce completely. That would elevate him so many levels in my eyes.

I'm pretty firmly on record as not being a fan of the jerk version of Batman. I think it was always a mistake to go that route. Smart, sure, focused, god yes. But not a creep or monster. I hate that Batman.

Batman occasionally being kind is actually MORE shocking at this point!

Slightly embarrassing admission. I like to go to google images and search Hermione's name so I can see a million pictures of her all at once. I need her to be in a new show. I need it to LIVE.

You know, I'm not absolutely positive, but I think you might like this woman a little bit. ;)
