Samhain update
As reported earlier, Samhain Publishing is shutting down, which affects several of Thea’s e-books. Thea is planning on republishing her Elder Races Novellas, but she is NOT planning on republishing her Amanda Carpenter Retro Romances. They are currently still on sale at several outlets, so if you wanted to read them you should grab them now while they are still available.

Samhain Publishing Will Be Closing
Dear Readers,
Samhain Publishing has announced that it is shutting down at the end of February, 2017. They have started to remove all the books they publish from sale, from all distribution channels. (Amazon, Nook, Kobo, etc.)
After Samhain removes the books from sale, they will start the process of returning publishing rights to all of their authors. This will take a little bit of time. Authors can then choose whether to reissue their books- either through another publisher or through self-publishing.
I have several e-books that this affects:
True Colors (rights have already reverted to me)
All of my Amanda Carpenter Retro Romances
I am planning to re-issue these books, but it will take some time to do so. At this time I cannot give you an estimate when they will be available. Note that this only affects the e-book versions of my stories- I have print and audio versions of the Elder Races novellas that will remain on sale.
If you already own these books, they should stay in your libraries and you do not need to repurchase them. Of course we have no control over e-book ecosystems, so it’s always a good idea to back up favorite books just in case.

Tarot Novellas Update
Dear Readers,
There have been some questions recently about why the e-book of True Colors is unavailable. True Colors is the first of the Tarot novellas- four different stories that revolve around a mysterious tarot deck. It was also my very first Elder Races novella so I’m particularly fond of it.

NOOK Issues have been resolved
Dear NOOK readers –
Once again, I apologize profusely for the database error in the NOOK system. I have now heard from their customer support, and the issue has been resolved. However, they don’t push updated versions of files onto NOOK e-readers, so you will have to get the file yourself.
This is what they sent to me, and what you need to do to get your book:
Unfortunately, NOOK does not ‘push’ file updates to customers who have already downloaded, but it is easy for a customer to get the updated file by following the instructions below — please feel free to send this to your readers:
Customers using devices and apps purchased or downloaded from 2010-2013 can receive the updated NOOK Book file at no additional charge by re-downloading your NOOK Book using the Archive/Un-Archive feature. On a NOOK device or app, this is done in the Library by pressing and holding your finger on the cover image until a menu pops up, and then selecting “Archive”. In the upper right corner press “My Stuff” > “Archived”, and then press and hold your finger again on the cover image and select “Unarchive.”
Customers using devices and apps purchased or downloaded from 2014-today can re-download your NOOK Book at no additional charge by using the “Move to Cloud” feature. On a NOOK device or app, this is done in the Library by pressing and holding your finger on the cover image until a menu pops up, and then selecting “Move to Cloud”. Then tap the cover to download it again.
I hope this resolves everything – and you enjoy the book when you get it.

NOOK Issues
Dear NOOK readers –
You have my deepest, sincerest apologies for the NOOK system glitch that has meant you haven’t received your book yet.
Please know, we are doing everything we can to get this corrected. On our end, everything looks fine. The whole book AND the special price change are in the system. There is literally nothing we can do to fix this. This is up to Barnes and Noble to fix.
I have phone calls in to NOOK support, and I’ve also escalated this to the appropriate departments.
