Waxing Nostalgic
I decided to take a few minutes on my lunch break and revisit some books I loved from my past. I don't know how I would rate these as an adult. The point is that I loved them when I was a child and I either discovered them through a teacher or in the school library.

Romance Writers of America conference 2011
June 28 - July 1, 2011 I am attending the Romance Writers of America 31st Annual Conference in New York.
Can you believe it? It's right around the corner! I'm quite excited. Not only is this my first conference, but I've also never been to New York.
I will be signing at the Literacy Book signing on Tuesday June 28, and the Berkley signing on Friday July 1. If you're attending RWA, please stop by and say hi. I would love to see you!

Would you like to join me? Donate a book to your local library this weekend (more than one if you like). New or gently used, it doesn't matter. Your library can make good use of either.

STORM'S HEART game
Hi everybody! I've just heard on Twitter that FB has tightened up rules about giveaways and contests, so I have changed the rules and wording of our game. The game is still up and I have copied all the entries too! Sorry for the changes--it's been a learning experience, and I'll set up a new venue for more games in the future.
In the meantime, I'm still giving away my last ARC of STORM'S HEART in a game.
I'm sending out a casting call for a pretend DRAGON BOUND movie! Which actors do YOU see playing the main characters in a movie?
The game is over Friday May 20th, 5:00 pm Pacific Time (8:00 pm for everybody on the East Coast), and sorry, it's for U.S. domestic entries only.
How to play
Playing is easy-peasy. Cast any one of the following characters from DRAGON BOUND with real-life actors to star in our pretend movie. You can cast as many of the ten characters listed as you like, but listing just ONE actor (or actress) to play one of the characters in a movie gets you entered in the contest. I know casting Dragos is going to be lots of fun, but don't forget to cast the other characters to play alongside him!

2. Pia Giovanni
3. Rune, gryphon and First sentinel
4. Graydon. gryphon and sentinel
5. Tiago, thunderbird and war sentinel
6. Tricks, head of PR for Cuelebre Enterprises
7. Urien, the Dark Fae King
8. Keith, aka "shithead"
9. Quentin, bar owner and Pia's friend
10. Adela, the witch
That's it, folks! I hope you have fun with this - I know I will. I can't wait to read who you pick. After the game is over, I'll tally everything up and post our movie cast based on the number of entries for each character and notify the person who gets the ARC of STORM'S HEART!
