Thank you to our fabulous critique partners!!

I thought I would give out a shout of appreciation to my critique partner today. We have only been working together for a few months but up until that point I had worked alone, with no first reader and no critique partner. I have to say I find that really, really strange now.
It is not the way to write, I promise you.
She is fantastic! Not just with editing and restructure of sentences but making me think deeper and harder. A critique partner will not only improve your writing, he or she will also make you understand yourself a lot better too. I am not lecturing about spirituality or ‘finding yourself’, although I do believe in people continually searching for their authentic self. What I am saying is, I didn’t realize how much of me I put into my stories when I write.
What do I mean?

As I write erotic romance I don’t mean the sex is me…well, maybe some of it is, lol! What I mean is, I’ve come to realize that the theme or message of my stories is often very similar. My main issue seems to be trust. What it takes for my protagonist to trust again after heartbreak, bereavement or betrayal.
A fresh pair of eyes can spot your theme, sometimes before the author recognizes it herself. The advantage of knowing your theme from early on in the creativity process is huge. It means as the writer, you will delve deeper into your character, bring their heartfelt emotions onto the page and thus, give your reader a hugely satisfying read.
Why? Because they will understand your character’s deep-seated fear, the internal obstacles holding them back from being the person they want to be. This is what is at the heart of a good story, surely? Think about your favorite books. Wasn’t it the characters internal struggles that kept you turning the pages. When we pick up a book, we hope to find something that resonates with us. Something that makes us think, feel, cry or laugh. We want to travel with the character through an issue we understand.
On the other hand, if your critique partner is making you uncomfortable or suggesting changes you really don’t agree with – that’s fine too. Reach out for a partner. I promise whether or not you find one who fits, they will add something to you as a writer and make you and your work better than it was before.
I’d love to hear your experiences with critique partners or whether or not you even agree with me!

Sunday Promo - Callie Croix...

Blurb:
Navy SEAL Reid Galvin is back from hell and eager to find comfort in Becca Anderson's arms. He knows he hurt her when he cut contact during his deployment, so when his call interrupts her date with another man, he has only himself to blame. But he can't forget what she means to him--or the sexy email she sent him--and he won't miss this chance to claim her as his own. It's been weeks since Becca heard from the man she thought she was involved with. So when Reid wants to take up where they left off as if nothing happened, she refuses. Then he rescues her from a first date gone very wrong, and she realizes she's not quite ready to let him go.Reid and Becca have a lot to talk about, but since she's not listening, he's going to have to regain her trust another way--by bringing her most erotic fantasies to life. Making her surrender to pleasure just might be his most important mission.
Excerpt:
Navy Petty Officer First Class Reid Galvin hopped off the idling Black Hawk with three of his teammates and trudged across Bagram's baking tarmac to the cinderblock building that loomed before him. The intense August sun beat down on his shoulders, but it did nothing to melt the ice inside him.
Shoving open the door with one arm, he didn't look back at the others as they unloaded the body bags from the Chinook. Twenty-four of them. Five more bodies and other remains were still being recovered from the mangled wreckage at the crash site.
He'd done his job for the moment--secured the crash site and helped with the recovery effort. All of the victims had been in pieces, burned so badly they were beyond recognition. Each body part would have to be examined forensically to identify the charred remains in the bags.
In some ways, that was the hardest part to take. Knowing the family members would have to wait for the gruesome identifications to be completed before funeral arrangements could be made stateside. This loss was a huge blow to the SPECOPS community. To the U.S. military as a whole, and its role in the War on Terror. And though they'd been hit the hardest, the SEAL community didn't have time to mourn its fallen brothers.
He'd nearly been one of them. He'd originally been slated to be on that mission in Wardak province the day that Chinook had been shot down. Instead he'd been reassigned at the last moment with a few of his teammates. Fate had a goddamn twisted sense of humor sometimes.
Compared to the arid heat outside, the interior of the building was chilly from the air conditioning, bathed in a bluish glow from the fluorescent lighting. Reid rubbed a weary hand over his face. He hadn't slept in almost three days. Had barely eaten.
Beside him, one of his teammates started taking off his gear and stowing it in his locker, his movements rife with frustration. "Tonight can't get here fast enough."
"Tell me about it." Once night fell they'd be on the hunt for the ones responsible for the crash. In the darkness they'd be in their element, finally doing something about avenging their fallen brothers. Hell, they'd all go out again right now in spite of their exhaustion if their commander hadn't ordered them to get some rack time.
Reid dropped his ruck and took care of his M-4 before peeling off his dirty BDUs that stank of jet fuel and scorched metal. He couldn't get the stench of burned flesh out of his nostrils. The short, hot shower awaiting him wouldn't help much either. All the soap in the world wouldn't take that smell away completely.
The smell of two dozen SEALs' blood spilled into the Afghan soil.
Tired to the bone, Reid stripped and stepped into the shower, only to find the spray was lukewarm at its hottest setting. He scrubbed himself down with the strong soap before toweling off and pulling a fresh T-shirt and cammies on. Behind some of the others he walked the length of the hall to their temporary barracks and crawled onto his cot as someone hit the lights. After a few minutes the sound of slow breathing and the occasional soft snore of one of his teammates filled the dark, quiet room.
Despite the fatigue pulling at his heavy eyelids, sleep wouldn't come. The need for action hummed in his veins, the sense of raw frustration and impatience demanding he do something. People were working on the situation right now, he reminded himself. His brothers' deaths would not go unanswered.
When he finally closed his eyes, it wasn't his fellow SEALs' faces he saw. It was Becca's. Link:

Welcome fabulous erotic romance writer, Samantha Gentry!

Welcome to my site, Samantha! First of all, I LOVE the sexy, simplicity of your cover - gorgeous :) Okay, well, over to you - looking forward to hearing more about your latest release...
RUMORS OF A SEX CLUB…
Could this be her big break? Her ticket to a career as an investigative reporter?  Secrets, personal agendas, deceptions—not exactly a good foundation for building a solid relationship.
BLURB:  Dani Foreman is determined to expose the secrets of the mysterious Third Floor club in order to secure her career as an investigative reporter.  Problem?  So far, many have tried but none have been able to gain access to the private club.  An encounter with the sexy bartender might just be her way inside the club to discover the truth behind the rumors of orgies among the rich and powerful.
Mitch Sinclair is a man of many secrets, including owning the Third Floor, an exclusive sex club.  He doesn't know who Dani is, but he does know she is not what she claims. His need to protect the secrets of Third Floor runs deep and very personal. But his attraction to Dani is strong and he must decide whether to trust her or compromise the single most important thing in his life.

And that's the crux of the character's problems and conflict in the fifth book in my Encounter series, THIRD FLOOR ENCOUNTER by Samantha Gentry, available now from The Wilder Roses (the Scarlet Rose line of erotic romance at The Wild Rose Press).
http://www.wilderroses.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=182&products_id=904

I found this an interesting book to write.  From the day I started putting the storyline together, I included the rumors about the Third Floor private club and speculation that it was a sex club.  But it took me a while to decide if that would end up being the truth and if so, what type of sex club and who were the members?  And another decision about the storyline if Third Floor did end up being a sex club would be the problem of the man who owned the private club—the hero of the story.  How would that impact his good guy/hero status?  Why a sex club rather than a gambling club or just a high end private club serving drinks and food and maybe having a dance floor?  And if it did end up being a sex club, to what purpose?  And what would it say about the heroine if she became involved with a man who owned a sex club?  At some point in time she was bound to discover the truth especially with her desire to do an investigative report on the club.  Then what?
How to reconcile the two extremes.  Be able to show the hero is still the good guy and worthy of her love even though he purposely deceived her about his true identity and several other things.  Provide a valid reason for her to accept that he owns a sex club, a reason that will allow her to retain her integrity when she is presented with a viable reason for not doing an investigative report on Third Floor and exposing it as a sex club.
What factor could make all of that okay?  I hope you enjoy the way I worked it out.

Following is an Adult excerpt from THIRD FLOOR ENCOUNTER, an erotic romance by Samantha Gentry.
Adult Excerpt #2 (first kiss):
Mitch continued to hold Dani's hand as they walked next door. Her hand felt good in his, very comfortable and relaxed. He unlocked the front door and stepped aside so she could enter.
Three steps inside and she came to an abrupt halt then whirled around to face him. "Oh, my God! This isn't an apartment building, it's a house!"
Her sudden stop caught him off guard. He bumped into her, knocking her off balance. He grabbed her in his arms, catching her before she fell. He pulled her body tightly to him, her face close. Her firm breasts pressed against his chest. He felt each breath she drew, her ragged breathing matching his. His cock responded to her body heat, twitching to life and rising to the occasion. Taking it slow…testing the situation…taking the time to figure out specifically why she had invaded his territory. It all went by the wayside in a heated moment of unbridled lust.
His mouth came down hard on hers, an involuntary reaction he couldn't have prevented even if he wanted to. After a brief moment of surprised hesitation, she fully responded with an earthy sensuality that nearly knocked his socks off. She felt good in his arms, the contours of her body fitting with his as if they were made to be together. He aggressively thrust his tongue between her lips. Exploring, tasting and teasing. At that moment, he had only one thing on his mind—spending the night engaged in hot sex with the delicious Dani Foreman.
She had grabbed his attention, captured his interest, and stimulated his libido all in one fell swoop. His common sense and instincts told him to back off, put it on hold, keep his pants zipped, leave it alone. If he hadn't been inside his own home, his instincts would be telling him to turn and run. But his desires vetoed his concerns. He wasn't even sure exactly what specifically concerned him.

Thanks to Rachel for having me here today.  Information on my other Encounter books available on my website: www.samanthagentry.com And be sure to stop by my blog, a new post every Sunday morning:  http://samanthagentry.blogspot.com

Happy New Year!!

Well, here we go! Another year of opportunities awaits us!

I love the New Year - for me it's a time for planning and deciding what steps I'm going to take both personally and professionally. I have been producing work slower than I would have liked throughout 2012 and I can't help thinking it comes down to my lack of time management and planning. As well as a real lack of ideas...

Never before I have had this kind of situation I find myself in...completely stuck with what to write next! It's not that I have no ideas at all but more where I want to take my writing next. The nagging feeling that it's time for me to write a series hasn't gone away for months so I figure there is no better time to start planning a series than January 1st :)

So, today I have start jotting down a few ideas and decided I want to write a trilogy about three friends running a bakery/cake shop in Victorian England. Near to where I live, is the most beautiful place made up of lots of tiny little villages and hamlets - the perfect setting from which I can draw inspiration.

An historical erotic romance is entirely new to me so I've got no idea how this will play out yet but really hope it works. I'll let you know!

In the meantime. Happy New Year, lovely readers - wishing you all the best for your own writing or reading dreams!

Love

Carina Press Promo - Jodie Griffin....

Blurb:
When it comes to sex, Bella Massey wants a man who'll get down on his knees and beg. And although she's got the hots for firefighter Marcus Aiello, she can't believe an alpha male like him could have a submissive bone in his body.Marcus isn't looking for a relationship, but Bella is not like any woman he's ever met. When he discovers what the sexy librarian is really looking for in a man, he's even more intrigued. But giving up control is difficult for Marcus--no matter how much he desires it.Despite their intense attraction, Marcus and Bella's budding relationship is at an impasse. Until a weekend at a unique B&B offering all manner of naughty nightly activities teaches them both just how good it can feel to lose control...
Excerpt:
"You're cheating." Bella shook her head wryly as Myrtle laid down her second straight flush of their weekly poker night. "I haven't figured out how yet, but I know you're doing it. Bunch of scam artists." She softened the accusation with a teasing smile, but before Myrtle, Edna or Alice could answer, chaos erupted in the hallway just outside the nursing home's community room.
Two firefighters hurried by, followed by paramedics pushing a stretcher, and the room fell silent. That didn't bode well, and Bella's heart twisted for the three sitting at the table. They'd each lived at Roseville Manor about six years, and they were close with all the residents.
Caroline Reeves, her friend and an ER nurse who also volunteered there, stuck her head in the door and gave a thumbs-up. "Everyone's okay. The director said they're testing emergency response times."
Sighs of relief rippled across the room, and everyone began talking at once.
Relieved herself, Bella looked at her favorite senior threesome and grinned. She and Alice sat on one side of the table, and Myrtle and Edna sat on the opposite side. Bella tapped her cards on the table. "Wasting playing time, ladies. Are you in?" She tossed some pennies into the bowl in the center of the table. "The bet is five, and I'm telling you, this is my hand."
She said it, but she knew it wasn't true. She was losing, and she always lost. Maybe because the wild three were in their nineties, and they'd had more time playing poker than she'd been alive. Or maybe they really did cheat. She didn't care. She loved them, and just enjoyed spending time with them.
Myrtle snorted. "Humph. We'll see about that." She tossed her five pennies into the bowl.
"You should know better than that, dear. You're toast." Alice's sweet tone was completely at odds with her words. She dropped her bet in the pot and anted up.
Bella laughed, waiting to see what would come out of Edna's mouth. Their usual banter often had her laughing so hard her stomach hurt. But right now, the woman was quiet, her eyes comically wide as she looked across the table between Bella and Alice.
"Hello, ladies."
Bella jerked at the sound of the deep, masculine voice, and nearly dropped her cards. There was a hint of roughness to it, enough to send shivers down her spine. To cover her reaction, she turned and looked up. Her heart skipped a long beat. Standing behind them, in a firefighter uniform and holding paramedic gear, was the sexiest, hottest guy she'd ever laid eyes on. Super hot. Heart-attack hot. Five-alarm-fire hot.
His Italian heritage was stamped on every delectable inch of his six-foot-tall muscular body. His dark hair was wavy and thick, and his eyes were the color of dark chocolate, her favorite indulgence. If he'd been a piece of candy, she'd have gobbled him right up. Instead, she picked up her bottle of water and took a sip, trying to quench her sudden thirst.
"I'm Marcus Aiello. What's the game?" He cast a glance around the table, smiling at each woman as if she were the only one in his sight.
Ninety-three-year-old Myrtle looked him up and down as if she was undressing him in her imagination. "Poker. We play every Wednesday. Want to join us?"
"It depends," Marcus said with a wink and a devilish grin, not at all taken aback by Myrtle's obvious once-over. "Is it strip poker?"Buy Link:

Merry, Sexy Christmas!!!

Woohoo!! Christmas is here!!

What are you guys up to? Lots of family, friends, food and wine, I hope! ;)

Christmas lunch will be spent with my parents and my hubby's as well as the kids and dog - I am lucky enough to not be hosting this year so will relax and thoroughly enjoy, yay!

As the year draws to end, I'm already starting to think what I want to achieve in 2013 and there will definitely be a series on the cards...a trilogy, I hope. I'm thinking along the lines of three sisters or three employees working for the same business :)

With several ideas bouncing around, the series is still very much in the planning stage but the biggest stickler is whether to do historical or contemporary - I am so torn, lol!

Anyway, we shall see - in the meantime, I want to extend a huge THANK YOU to all my lovely readers who continue to support my writing and badger me to get the next story written. I am thrilled that I have just contracted novella number 4 and hope it will be released sometime during Summer 2013, I'll keep you posted!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!! MAKE IT A GOOD ONE!!

Love

Saturday Promo - Maxine Mansfield...

Blurb:

Larksong Hammerstrike has always been just the younger sister of Princess Aryanna. Never quite as pretty or as smart, always lacking, a mere empath whose power gets her into trouble more often than not. But at Carnalval, the festival of all things sexual, she unleashes her sensual side for a night in the arms of a masked stranger. When morning dawns, Lark can't resist a peek beneath the mask of her lover and is once again crushed by fate. The man of her lusty adventure is none other than the future Lord of the High Elves and destined to marry her sister.

As heir to the kingdom of Landis and current instructor of wizardry at the Academy of Magical Arts, Sarco Sunwalker is honor bound to rise above the temptation of the beautiful empathic student who invades his mind, body, and soul. But when sparks fly, lightning strikes, and thunder rolls, Sarco finds himself more than tempted by the storm of Lark's passion and vows to find a solution that will prevent a war between races, fulfill an infamous quest, and win Lark's hand.

Excerpt:
There was only one word that could describe the creature standing before him. Wonderful.

“Did you say something?” the woman whispered.

He shook his head. “Nothing, I just can’t believe my luck. You really are real and here with me.”

She smiled, but her smile didn’t extend to her eyes.

Before another heartbeat passed or another breath taken, he stood at her side. With tenderness, he gazed into her gentle, masked face and took both of her hands in his. He was humbled as her fingers trembled even more than his own did. “We don’t have to do this if you’d rather not.”

She smiled wider, and her eyes gleamed with mischief. “I suppose we might as well. After all, we’re already here, and you’re at least halfway undressed.”

Sliding his hands up her arms and around her shoulders to her back, Sarco felt for and found the clasps holding her gown together. With the flick of a wrist, they gave way, and with a swish, the silky fabric fell to her hips exposing lush, rose-tipped breasts. Just the right size to hold in both hands, to fondle, to caress, to taste.

“Hmm, it seems you’re halfway undressed yourself.”

SOLD!!! Novella number 4...

YAY!!!!!

I am happy to announce that yesterday a lovely new contract dropped into my inbox from The Wild Rose Press...."Teach Me To Ride" (working title) has been accepted and I hope will be released by the summer 2013.

This is a new contemporary erotic romance set again in England but immersed into the sexy, scandalous world of British show jumping. Here's the blurb:

Local newspaper journalist, Caroline James has ambitions to work in London. She wants to be the best and youngest female investigative journalist the city has ever seen. Caroline has shut down personally and forged her career with savage single-mindedness. The problem is, no London paper will give her a chance without some big credentials to back up her hunger for success. She hasn’t the money to leave her small picturesque hometown of Fayre Mead, England. She’s stuck and her resentment is building.Horse trainer, Michael Canton has made mistakes of his own. The son of a famous show jumper, Michael’s mother warned him off a career in the ring but with passion burning for horses flowing through his veins, he couldn’t stay away. The compromise was training rather than the flashy showmanship, betrayal and infidelity rife in the show jumping world. Now his father wants him to race in the 2016 Olympics… When he meets Caroline, sparks fly emotionally, ambitiously and sexually. Someone is going to get burned…
I am currently planning out my very first trilogy which I hope my editor will love as much as I do - more details to follow in the New Year...

Welcome fellow Wild Rose Press author, Luna Zega...

Hi, Luna - welcome back to my blog! How are you? Pull up a chair, grab a coffee and we'll start chatting. Looking forward to hearing what you've been up to and what you have planned for 2013. Merry Christmas!
1)  Who is your favourite author and why?
I absolutely love everything written by Elizabeth George. She writes British mysteries. I get lost in her stories. They are so complex and multilayered. I mainly read her for her character Barbara Havers, a troubled detective who is partnered with an Earl. Awkward.  The way they’re relationship has developed over the series is pure genius.
 2)  When did you first consider yourself a writer?
I wrote stories in spiral bound notebooks when I was a kid and I’ve always been a voracious reader. I didn’t think I could make a living as a writer, so I became an English teacher. Yeah, I know, making a living as a teacher is no picnic either. Because of my English background, I eventually became a technical writer. I started my fiction career a few years ago when I quit my boring, mind numbing job in Alaska and moved to the Ozarks.
3)  Describe your writing space?
I write in my living room. I sit in a blue, leather recliner with my laptop. The west and south walls are mostly windows. At this very moment, there are five deer standing in the orchard in my front yard. I can watch weather fronts as they approach through the valley. It’s truly an inspirational writing space. Only problem, is that it is right next to the greenhouse, so during the spring and summer, my front yard because Grand Central.
 4)  What are you reading now?
The Ethical Slut: A Practical Guide to Polyamory, Open Relationships and Other Adventures by Dossie Easton and Janet W. Hardy. I find the concept of polyamory quite intriguing. I’m not sure that humans are set up to be monogamous. Sure swans are, but humans? I find the openness of polyamory admirable, but I’m not sure I’m mature enough to handle it. I’ve found this book very helpful in getting my mind around the concept.
5)  How many books have your written?  Which is your favourite?
I’ve written 4 contemporary romances and 2 erotica novellas. I’m working on a third at the moment. I have two favorites: Santorini Sunset and Southern Seduction. I describe Santorini Sunset as Bridget Jones meets the Wedding Date. My personality and sense of humor are very evident in this story. I like Southern Seduction because the guy in the story is based on my elementary, junior and high school crush. Shoot, I ran into him at a class reunion and I swear if he’d smiled at me, I would’ve run away with him. I still don’t think he knows my name. Southern Seduction is what would happen if the guy ever recognized me. LOL.
 6)  What comes first, plot or characters?
Cat names. Seriously. I start with the names of the cats and develop the characters based on that. In Redneck Ex, the main character has two mutt cats named Sipowicz and Goren. She’s a much different person than the main character in Santorini Sunset who has two purebred Maine Coon cats named Sherlock and Mycroft.
7)  Do you ever suffer from writer’s block?
Nope. Thank goodness. The only writer’s block I suffer is folks and events blocking me from writing.
8)  What do you like to do when you’re not writing?
I live on a farm in the Arkansas Ozark Mountains. We raise heritage breed (essentially endangered farm animals) chickens, rabbits and ducks. We’re building up our operation to include goats, sheep, pigs and geese. We also raise crops for the local farmers’ markets. In addition to the farm, I enjoy cooking, reading, quilting and photography.
9)  Tell us about your latest book?
Tokyo Tease is my latest erotica story. Natalie James lives in Tokyo and has a huge crush on her co-worker Kentaro. Natalie is somewhat clueless and doesn’t get that the interchanges at work are flirtatious in manner. So, Kentaro decides to show her what he wants…on the train ride to work. The groping on the train leads to some hot and rowdy sex at the office.
10) What’s next for you?
I’m working on an erotica that is based on online dating. A woman falls in love with a soldier in Afghanistan. She spends her lunch hour reading his e-mails and falls deeper every day. When he shows up at her office, sparks and clothes fly. Southern Seduction
Blurb:
Ramona Squires fell in the love with Ross Spears the first day she saw him in the second grade. Twenty-two years later when his truck breaks down in front of her house, she discovers that her crush wasn't unrequited. Neither had the guts to reveal their true feelings when they were teenagers. After years of wild, erotic wet dreams, will reality live up to the fantasy? Or will it be better?

Saturday promo - Kasey Moone...

Blurb:
For an entire year, Mira Perrin has worked as a file clerk for Jeremy Rain, a hot and hunky radio owner, in Atlanta. A man who doesn't even know she exists. When their paths cross one unexpected night at Mira's night job, Jeremy offers her a chance to move up in the company by serving as his personal assistant. Desperate to earn extra income, she agrees, only to discover that sometimes the sweetest pleasure can be found once she's off the clock...

Jeremy Rain is shocked to discover Mira is his employee. And that she's gorgeous to boot. Though she's a little outspoken and wears ugly black pant suits, he's intrigued by her bluntness and work ethic. He quickly discovers that his smokin' hot employee is full of surprises in and out of the office...

But will these two have the courage to live for more than 9 to 5...or will they let love pass them by?

Excerpt:

She met his gaze. “Will that be all, Mr. Rain?”

He leaned forward, his heady, masculine, scent colliding into her like a drug, making her weak in the knees.

His lips quirked. “I’m not going anywhere.”

She could think of no reply. Her palms touched the wall behind her. Her heart settled into a dull thud. Good Lord, why was he staring at her like that? Was he attracted to her?

Imprisoned by his stare, her mind turned back to her earlier fantasy of him on the dance floor. How she’d ground against him. How he’d cupped her breast.

Now his eyes bore into her, holding her immobile. He lifted one of her loose braids, slowly, to twirl around his long fingers. She had the sudden urge to reach up and suck the digits into her mouth. To taunt him to the point of insanity. Weakly, she looked away.

He dragged her chin back. Then leaned over and kissed her.

It was good.

So good.

Lazily, he teased her lips, like he had all the time in the world, awakening every nerve ending in her body, pushing her toward a slow and steady fire. She melted against him. Fell into the slow tug of his lips. Knew that she was losing it, but didn’t give a damn. The feel of his gentle tongue claiming her mouth, stroking her lips, made her tremble with desire, made her pussy flutter in anticipation.

This was her fantasy come to life. Had she made it happen simply by wishing for it? Had it been that easy? Perhaps. Stranger things have happened.

She lost herself in the moment, dragging her hand down his torso, around the lines of his six pack, settling above the heavy buckle of his jeans.

The taste of him. The sound of his erratic breathing. The feel of his skin.

My God. The man knew how to kiss. How to turn a woman’s world upside down in the span of a minute.

Cocooned by his intoxicating masculinity, slowly, she began to unlatch his belt buckle, lightheaded with need.

At the contact, he muttered a stream of obscenities and stepped aside, while she collapsed against the wall, with rubbery bones and sweaty palms. She touched her swollen lips. Then, shyly, met his steady gaze.

“I shouldn’t have done that,” he hissed.

Reality slammed into her like a sledge hammer. Simmering with pent up lust, she wiped her sticky palms on her pants and breathed deeply. “Don’t worry. It won’t happen again.”
