Welcome Evernight Publishing author Liia Ann White...

1)   Did you set any goals for 2013?
I don’t tend to set any official goals, because I did that last year and didn’t write for nine months. BUT I wanted to have all three novellas in The Water Lands series finished and hopefully published. Also I wanted to have my YA book contracted somewhere. Fingers crossed I get half of it done at least!
2)   What is the best part of the writing process for you?
Writing out whatever my mind imagines. Sometimes I’ll write so much that when I have a break, hours have gone by without me realizing. I get so wrapped up in it and forget about the world around me. I love it.
3)   The worst part?
Honestly, it’s the RSI that I have in my wrists and arms. I type so much and so fast that when I go to my chiropractor every 1-2 weeks I leave with bruises from massaging, adjustments and needling. But it’s a price I’m willing to pay to do what I love J
4)   Tell me where you write?
I have a little writing nook in my house set up in the corner of the gaming room. It’s in an open area so my dogs can sit nearby, I can see my birds and get plenty of light. But the majority of my work is done outside. I have a huge back yard and patio area where I can set up a lounger and write until I get cold when the sun’s gone down. 5)   Name two romances you’ve read more than once
The entire Riley Jensen series by Keri Arthur and everything written by Sara Brookes. They’re two that I just can’t get enough of. I’m sure Sara will appreciate me saying that LoL
6)   Tell us about your first car
My first car was a 2002 Mitsubishi Lancer Commonwealth Games edition… I still drive it to this day. It started off as bright yellow, now it has about 8 different shades of yellow on it! All nice and canary though. I got it brand new for my 17th birthday and haven’t had any problems with it in 10 years of driving. I love my little beast.

BLURB:
Adora was fearless, powerful and intensely unhappy. Until she was kidnapped by a mysterious stranger, who happens to be her half human, half Seelie soul mate. After being attacked, Adora, fearing she'd lose Randor, admits her feelings for her soul mate. The two of them just need to find a way they can survive together - away from the feuding kingdoms. Entering the Seelie castle, under a pretense of needing the witch's help to bind Adora's immense power, they ask for Maleficent, whom they plan to eliminate so she can no longer track them.
When all hell breaks loose, they're involved in a fight including the witch, Kiel and the Queen. A fight that not all of them will survive.
EXCERPT
“Lady Adora Belira, Princess of the Seelie Court, daughter of King Polara, and future ruler of the Water Lands.”
As the kingdom’s attendant announced her arrival in the court, Adora rolled her eyes. Stating her entire title each time she entered the room was so ridiculous and unnecessary. But Father had always been a stickler for rules. He was one of the last remaining old-school faeries, insisting his lands follow the ancient laws laid down by the Originals.
Adora had never followed the rules. Her mother was the enforcer of the family. Since she’d died, Adora had used her father’s obliviousness to her advantage and rebelled against him and the kingdom at every chance she got.
Father looked down at her clothing with a frown. She preferred to wear combat gear, consisting of a skin-tight top, pants, and versatile boots. The rest of the kingdom would prefer she conform and dress in something more fitting for a princess, a flowing gown that had no practical use whatsoever. She was a healer for the army. She needed to be prepared for anything.
“I do wish you’d wear something Kilip has prepared for you, even if only when dining in the court.” Father spoke with a slight wheeze.
“And I do wish you’d see someone about that cough you have,” she told him, sticking out her chin stubbornly. “It’s getting worse, Father.”
Adora sat by his side at the head of the royal dining table. Several heads turned and people gasped when she spoke to the king
with a tone of disrespect. Once again, she rolled her eyes. She’d been doing a lot of that lately.
“Mind your business,” Adora snapped at the gawkers. All of them looked down and focused on their own conversations.

Forever: The Dragon Warsby Rebecca Royce~~~~~~~~~~~~~
BLURB:

Lena Knox knew the moment she met Devin that he was her mate. But, she'd been a child at the time and he hadn't noticed her at all. Now, all grown up she wants Devin to be the wolf she’s waited for. Not that she has a lot of time for longing with life crumbling around her.

A couple of heated encounters draw them together but is it enough to overcome the war wounds they both carry? Or will an outside enemy destroy them before they get the chance to know?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
EXCERPT
One lone tear escaped, and she quickly batted it away. She might as not have, as he’d be able to smell her distress. Trying to be as sly as she could, she glanced over at Devin, hoping he wouldn’t notice. He stared up at the ceiling, his gaze distant and removed.
She cleared her throat. “Would you like to shift and go for a run?”
Lena couldn’t think of anything she’d like better than to escape this room. He’d brought her utter and complete pleasure and then shattered her soul.
Devin rolled over, his back facing her, his head turned away. “You go ahead. I can’t shift anymore. Haven’t been able to since I came back.”
He couldn’t shift? A strange buzzing sensation filled her mind. This was important. It had to matter that Devin had been disconnected from his Wolf.
“That’s why you can’t heal your leg? You can’t shift to fix it?”
He turned to look at her, his eyes tired. “It’s pretty disgusting, I know. Trust me, no one likes looking at it less than I do. Twisted flesh, the bone poking out from where it should be—yeah, it’s gross.”
Lena wasn’t exactly certain what was going on, but she’d somehow stepped into a minefield. She hoped she could find her way out. Fast.
“I didn’t say it was gross. I just asked if that was why it wasn’t fixed.” She rubbed her eyes. “What do the doctors say about why you can’t shift?”
“Nothing. They have nothing to say.”
Weekend Promo - Maxine Mansfield...
Blurb:
Lizbeth wasn't given a choice whom to marry. She'd been betrothed to the, stubborn, arrogant, egotistical, Adan Hammerstrike, barbarian prince, heir to the throne of Alaria, and...and...murderer, since the day she'd been born. But, did that mean she wasn't entitled to follow her own dreams? Especially if those dreams could keep those she cared for safe? And so what if Adan had grown from the troll of a little boy he'd been into a ridiculously handsome, sexy man. Her heart could resist him, couldn't it?
The last thing on Albrath, Adan ever wanted was to be saddled for all of eternity to the screeching, boring, lackluster, Lizbeth Soulenticer. Though her beauty's beyond compare, there are only so many turns of the hourglass in a night to enjoy it. The rest of the unbearable time, he'll be forced to contend with her silly, hero worship, and her stupid pet choices. But, Adan is a man bound by duty and honor, and he will do what he must, even though he longs for a mate who will challenge him in bed and out. Not that he'll give her his heart, mind you, at least not until they both find themselves Taken by the Passion.
Excerpt:
He held out a hand toward her. "Spend this one night with me, Lizbeth, and if you still feel the same in the morning, we'll talk about you possibly going to the Academy and taking a few classes now and then. After all, how would it look to my family and friends if my brand new wife took off before the sun rises on her wedding night? I have appearances to uphold, we both do."
Lizbeth sizzled with anger. "I don't like you, remember? I couldn't care less how this looks to anybody, and...and...and, I won't spend this night or any other with you, until I have to, even on a bet."
Adan grinned. "Really? Not even on a bet? What if a bet was to get you exactly what you say you want most? A life of your own without a moment's interference from me until the day I do become king?"
Lizbeth shook her head and turned to leave, yet Adan's next words not only stopped her forward motion but had her turning and facing him once more.
"I never took you for a coward, Lizbeth, guess I was wrong. You say you know me better than I know myself. I say prove it, Lizard. If you can manage to answer ten...no make that five questions about me correctly, you win."
His grin grew even bigger. "And if you win, not only will I escort you to the front gate and wave you through the portal on your way to the Academy, I'll be happy to inform my family and friends that you're leaving me. That you find a dusty, old institution more sexually appealing than you do your own husband, and rightly so."
The grin disappeared from his face. "But, if you don't answer all of the questions correctly, you'll spend this one night, this entire night, willingly in my bed, in my arms, as my wife, in every sense of the word. Deal?"
He held out his hand again, and Lizbeth stared at it. Her fingers itched with the temptation to take him up on his offer. A life without interference or being under Adan's thumb, even for a short while, was more than a little tempting. Could she trust him, though?
Lizbeth hesitated, weighing her options. Other than being a bunny killer, Adan Hammerstrike was known far and wide for his word. Once he gave it, he never took it back.
She'd spent the majority of every day, for as long as she could remember, learning everything there was to know about the arrogant barbarian prince. She couldn't lose, and this was an opportunity she couldn't afford to pass up.
Lizbeth smiled as she shook his hand. "Deal."
Excerpt -Alpha Me Not! –Adult:
Peeking through half-closed lids, she didn’t know whether to grin or yowl. He had unlaced her belt and unbuttoned her skirt and shoved both aside. He stared at her sex, nostrils flaring, jaw set.The muscles in his cheek jerked in an erratic cadence.“I love your taste in panties.”She wore a scarlet ribbon thong designed explicitly for titillation. One ribbon spanned her hips, and the two attached to that one framed her sex.He lowered his head—nose grazing her center—inhaled, and closed his eyes. Levering on one elbow, he rolled between her legs and shoulder nudged her thighs wide. “Shiny and wet, gypsy woman.”Joe glanced at her.She shuddered, the picture too erotic for her oversensitized vaginal nerves. Her inner muscles clenched, a sharp, violent contraction that spurred a wave of spasms.He pinched her clit, and the startling pain squelched the nascent spirals of pleasure. “No coming. Not until I say you can.”The rapacious stare held her immobile. Only the sound of their rasped breathing broke the utter silence.“Joe?”“Ready?”Ready to climax, but that’s not what he asked.Shaking her head, she begged him to understand. “I can’t. Please.”“Count aloud.” With that he lowered his mouth to cover her thrumming clit. The scalding, steady suction sparked her nerve endings.She arched.Her clit needed a bite, a fierce pinch, a smack.Anything.She needed.Now!The stinging, sweet pressure vanished. “Count. Hands back above your head. Now.”She seethed.“I’ll walk away.”No. No.“Right this second.”Her vaginal walls convulsed, and the agonizing, frantic tightening shredded her resistance. She grabbed the pillow, stabbed it over her face, and shouted, “One!”Nothing.Tears of sheer, angry frustration gathered.Not even the whisper of his hot exhales.Nothing.He pinched a nipple.The acute pain was pure ecstasy.“Count.” The order delivered with a melt-your-bones charm. His voice closer now.“Two,” she croaked.He hooked her knees high, spread her legs so wide the muscles of her inner thighs trembled, drove his cock to her core, and whipped the pillow away.She drowned in his eyes.“Now. Come now,” he whispered and bit the lobe of her ear.
Welcome Loose ID author, Cassandra Carr...
Hi Cassandra! So happy to have you here and to be a part of your ongoing tour. Loose Id produce some gorgeous covers and yours in no exception! Okay, let get going with the questions...
1)   What is your writing routine?
I don’t have a routine, per se. Because I have a four-year-old and only part-time childcare, I don’t really have the luxury of a routine. Instead, I work whenever I can, whether it’s something like this while my daughter watches a video or pounding out five thousand words on a day when she’s with a sitter.
As far as how I go about writing a book, I’m a fast-drafter. I write the first draft without going back to revise, unless I realize I need to add something earlier to make a plot point logical/expected later in the book. After I finish the first draft, I go back and revise it. This is when I add in layers – more emotion, more description, that sort of thing. I add a lot of words in revisions, as my first drafts tend to be lean. Then I send the book to critique partners, get it back, make changes if I think the critique was valid, read it once more and then send it off.
2)   Which is your favorite romance subgenre to read? To write?
To read right now is male/male. There are tons of really talented writers doing male/male stories and I enjoy them a lot.
As far as writing, I like to work in several different subgenres, including sports romance, BDSM, ménage, male/male, and more. I like to give my readers some choices about what they read.
3)   What do you expect from an editor?
I expect them to find any grammatical mistakes I make. I’m what they call a “clean writer” which means those types of mistakes aren’t common in my submissions, but no one is perfect. I also expect them to tell me if some aspect of the book, whether it be the plot, characterization, or something else, isn’t working and to suggest an alternative. Editors make our books better, but they shouldn’t have to hold our hands or fix a million careless mistakes. You should never take advantage of your editor.
4)   What are you working on right now?
A million different things, it seems like! I just sent my longest book ever to my critique partners. It’s a mild BDSM story. I will be writing another male/male book and an erotic short story, plus the fifth book in my bull riders series.
5)   Your biggest piece of advice to aspiring novelists?
Lots of people want to write a book. If you’re going to do it, do it. No excuses. Finish the book. Then revise it until it’s shiny. Then have someone who has no emotional stake in either you OR the story read it.
 6)   What was your favorite subject in school and why?
LOL probably English because I was good at it. Later, though, marketing classes. When I still had an Evil Day Job it was in marketing.
7)   What is your favorite dessert?
I can only have one? Eesh. Um, chocolate lava cake.
8)   High heels, sneakers or flip flops?
Depends on the occasion, but in general, flip flops or sneakers. I’m a low-maintenance kind of girl.
BlurbHockey player Jason Monroe lives a double life—star defenseman and soon-to-be Olympian on the ice and closeted gay man outside the rink. A serious relationship is out of the question, and Jason makes do with anonymous sex in barroom bathrooms, not willing to take the chance on coming out as gay in a decidedly macho sport.
Advisor to the US Olympic hockey team Patrick Parker knows a thing or two about being a professional hockey player who’s not out.  He’s fifteen years older than Jason, and when he senses the sexy younger man is interested, he knows he shouldn’t give in to the attraction. The two men can’t keep their hands off each other, though, and with each heated encounter it gets harder to hide their relationship. Then their world blows up around them, forcing them into the limelight. Will their love survive or be put on ice?
Warning: This title is intended for readers over the age of 18 as it contains explicit sex scenes and/or situations and adult language, and may be considered offensive to some readers.
Stepping a little closer still—not enough to rouse suspicions should anyone come upon the two of them, but enough to better assess what was going through Jason’s mind and, if he was honest with himself, to experience that little thrill of attraction he’d missed so much lately—Patrick took a good look at the man in front of him. Jason might be younger than he by over fifteen years, but he wasn’t built like a kid. No, Jason was closer to a tank, and that had always been Patrick’s type. He wasn’t a fan of feeling like he was going to break some little twink in half.
Jason’s hair was dark brown and cut in one of those fashionable styles when it wasn’t plastered to his head after a hard practice like they’d had today. He also had full lips and a square jaw. For a younger man, his facial hair grew quickly, and his neck, jaw, and cheeks were covered in a thick scruff, even though Patrick knew the man had been clean shaven as per USA Hockey regulations for the team picture only two days ago.
Patrick wasn’t usually attracted to younger guys, but he had to admit, Jason had a certain magnetism that no doubt drew men and women alike to him. Eyes the color of honey were currently darting all over as if the man was looking for an escape hatch, and with no small amount of regret, Patrick took a step back. He now had a pretty good idea of what Jason’s problem was, but he refused to embarrass the kid by saying or doing anything, especially here.
There was no good way to end this awkward-as-hell encounter, though, and Patrick searched his mind for something nonthreatening to say. “Just promise me you’ll tell me if there’s something I ever say or do that makes you uncomfortable.”
Jason nodded, staring at the floor. “Can I go now?”
He retreated another step. “Of course.”
Without another word, Jason fled, and Patrick had to resist the urge to allow the wall to hold him up. He didn’t need to read a book on the principles of coaching to know that having an attraction to a player was bad news, especially one as young as Jason. Sure, he was well above legal at the age of twenty-two, but many would only see the large age difference and vilify Patrick.
Welcome Normandie Alleman...
Venetian Love Knotsby Normandie Alleman~~~~~~~~~~~~~
BLURB:
Travelling to Venice to be the maid of honour in her best friend’s wedding sounds like a great vacation, and a romantic way to spend Valentine’s Day. But when Allison Fox discovers who the best man is, she is torn between duty and self-preservation.
It has taken Allison four years to put her tumultuous relationship with the rodeo cowboy behind her after a violent incident ripped them apart. Now Allison must find a way to face her past and find closure with her old flame. But will she be able to put the past behind her?
Cole is the Texas cowboy who has never got over his love for Allison. But when he declares his love for her after all this time, is she strong enough to walk away from the intense passion they share?
For years Nico, a handsome Italian, was committed to nothing but his work. Nico never expected he would meet an American beauty who would awaken in him a desire to love again. Once he finds her, Nico vows to never let Allison go.
It will be a Valentine’s Day to remember, but who will win Allison’s heart?
EXCERPT
Looking around, Allison was expecting to see another kindly Italian lady, like the sweet one she had met on the plane earlier. She did a stutter step when she saw the man holding the sign that had ‘Allison Fox’ scribbled on it.
Nothing could have prepared her for the tall, handsome man in his exquisite Italian suit, searching the crowd with those piercing dark eyes. She saw him first, but when their gazes met the rest of the world seemed to melt away. He was so handsome, she was drawn to him immediately. She couldn’t quite believe this Adonis with the chiselled good looks was the person who was supposed to be retrieving her.
“Hi, I’m Allison Fox,” she said shyly.
“Oh, so you are Allison then?” The big man grinned happily, giving her a once-over. Judging by his smile, he seemed to like what he saw.
“Yes,” She hesitated, thinking that she probably shouldn’t just go off with a stranger, even if he was a good-looking one…
“I am Nico,” he said. “Nico Vitallini. Alfonso’s cousin. They sent me to pick you up. You are to be Marcia’s maid of honour, in the wedding, no?”
“Yes, I am.” Allison smiled. It was hard not to smile at him. The way he looked at her made her feel as though she was the only person in the entire airport. Her heart beat faster than usual. Were those butterflies in her stomach? Or was she just hungry?
“Come this way and we will collect your luggage. Here, please allow me to carry that for you.” He took her heavy carry-on bag from her hand in one graceful movement. The bag had been weighing her down, yet Nico tossed it around effortlessly. Allison bit back a smile.
Welcome Carina Press author, Lynda Aicher...
Welcome to my site, Lynda! It's so fantastic to host a Carina Press author - I have heard endless good things about them and hope to submit something myself in the not too distant future. Okay, let's get started with those questions!
1)   Did you set any goals for 2012?In general, I’m not a big goal setting person because I find it only leads to disappointment when you miss them. But I am a deadline driven person, so I tend to impose personal deadlines on completing things and then work to meet them. I guess, it kind of like goals, but it’s different in my crazy head.
2)   What is the best part of the writing process for you?When I write The End. *grin* Seriously, it’s watching the characters unfold and when they do the unexpected that takes the story in a different direction. It’s wild, frustrating and fun.
3)   The worst part?
Would be when the story stalls. It usually means that I’m going in the wrong direction, but it’s painful while I’m struggling to figure out where it should go to get the book back on track.
4)   What is the book you wish you’d written?
I don’t know if there is one, really. I think every book has merit and some become wildly successful, but there isn’t one I can pinpoint that I wished I had written instead of the author.
5)   Favourite author/s & book/s?
I read too much to define a favorite book. I usually think in lines of authors I like. Some of them are:  L.A. Witt, Amy Lane, J.R. Ward, Kresley Cole, Sherrilyn Kenyon, Lacey Alexander, Anne Tenino
6)   Tell us about your latest release?
Bonds of Need is the second book in the Wicked Play series from Carina Press. It’s Deklan and Kendra’s story and really about learning to accept ones needs as being okay even if they are different and not understood by most of society.
7)   What is your favorite attribute of the hero and heroine?
It would be Kendra’s desire and drive to finally heal. I admire the courage it would take to not only accept her mistakes, but to admit that the very thing that hurt her in the past is what she still needs, only in a different way.
8)   What’s next?
Bonds of Desire comes out in July and Bonds of Hope will be out in September. There at least two more scheduled in the series that will be out in 2014. That’s what I know of so far. Things can change though. J
9)                  Tell me where you write?
Most of the time it’s in my office. We redid it last year to make it exactly what I wanted so I can leave my notes and papers everywhere in my organized, unorganized fashion. I used to write at the kitchen table and it was a real pain to “move my office” every time we wanted to eat.
10)                  Where would you like your career to be in 5 years?
Ohh, that’s a tricky question. Ideally, I would love to have a steady following of readers, some books in print, see my name on the NY Times Bestsellers list (dream big, right?) and make a steady income from my writing. But the market, industry and life is fickle, so who knows. I mostly do the best I can with each book and the rest will fall out where it will.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~BLURB:
Deklan Winters has had his eye on his attractive neighbor for months, but only senses Kendra is no stranger to the BDSM scene when she walks into his club. And he can tell that's not her only secret. What surprises him is his own overwhelming desire to give her what she craves—and to show her a side to the Dom/sub relationship she's never known.
With Deklan's guidance, Kendra begins to accept her forbidden needs and to recognize the fine line between pleasure and pain. But when her former Master returns to reclaim her, it will take all her courage—and all of Deklan's love—to defy her past.
EXCERPT:
A gulp of fresh air filled her lungs the second she entered the hallway. She stalled there, shaking as she slumped against the wall. She locked her knees to keep herself upright, an act that brought a smirk to her lips. Eric always punished her for locking her knees. One of the first lessons she was taught as a sub was to keep her knees loose to limit the chance of fainting.
She turned her head and stared down the long hallway to the stairway at the end. The faint sounds of the Dungeon drifted down to her like a lure, pulling her in, closer to temptation, to the forbidden acts taking place just beyond her reach.
Closing her eyes, she centered in on the distant crack of a whip, the smack of a paddle against flesh, the wail of a sub timed with the clinking of chains. Her lips compressed as she struggled against the desire to join. The need that tugged at her to walk up the stairs and take what her body so desperately wanted.
She twisted the black band on her wrist, her mark as a visitor to The Den. But her status had been elevated, the red light having changed to green. She could play if she wanted. Her safety catch had been released, and now there was nothing stopping her but free will.
Her decision to make.

Lynda Aicher has always loved to read. It’s a simple fact that has been true since she discovered the words of Judy Blume at the age of ten. After years of weekly travel as a consultant implementing computer software into global companies, she ended her nomadic lifestyle to raise her two children. Now, her imagination is her only limitation on where she can go and her writing lets her escape from the daily duties of being a mom, wife, chauffer, scheduler, cook, teacher, volunteer, cleaner and mediator. Welcome Total E-Bound author, Nancy Adams...

The Bannockburn Spellby Nancy Adams
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
BLURB:
Since arriving in Little Glen, Scotland, Meghan Kennedy’s life has got decidedly more interesting. She enters into a bet with hunky ex-SBS soldier, William MacKenzie, discovers an ancient marriage contract and to top it all off, she learns that she had a spell cast on her…eight hundred years before she was even born. None of it matters, because she refuses to make the same mistake twice. Will’s hard body and sexy grin don’t matter, his beautiful hypnotic eyes don’t matter, and it doesn’t matter that every time they kiss her body calls out for his, as though denied of his touch for hundreds of years.
Ex-SBS soldier William MacKenzie is disciplined, trained to be an efficient soldier and he takes the same approach with his life as he does his business. Then Meghan arrives, with her fiery temper and hair to match, all he can think about is Meghan. Her feisty temper bemuses him, her beauty astounds him and her stubbornness annoys the hell out of him. Lucky for him, he doesn’t know how to quit, he can be just as stubborn and occasionally ruthless, and he will use any means necessary to get her. Of course the ‘means’ at his disposal just happen to be a bet, a marriage contract and an ancient spell, but if in the end Meghan belongs to him, who is he to argue?
EXCERPT
            “Another pint, Will?”             Will turned his head to see Hamish standing next to the table. “Sorry?”             Hamish threw a drying towel over his shoulder and slid into the opposite side of the booth. “Duncan told you about the contract?”             “You know about it?”             “Oh aye! When that there contract was first agreed upon, the other men present were ordered to help fulfil it.”             Exhaling he asked patiently, “What other men?”             “The MacGregor, the Campbell, the Ross, the Cameron. All lairds of their respective clans.”             Will felt his mouth drop open. “You, Ray and Stewart all know about this?”             Hamish raised his greying eyebrows and leaned his elbows onto the table. “Why do you think all our families are so close?”             Shit. Will sat back. It’s true. He had known each of those families his entire life, spending time with one or the other from as far back as he could remember.             “It’s been this way since the day that”—he pointed to the leather case—“was written.”             “Who gave the order?” Will studied the old leather.             “The Bruce.”             Will levelled his gaze. “Pardon?”             “You heard me.” Hamish slid out of the booth. “Go home, read it in private. Then come back later. Rangers are at Dundee. The lads will be here.”             Will sat in the booth finishing off his pint before he left for the library. Once there, he flipped open the case and pulled the old parchment free. He spent an hour reading it, looking up words in Gaelic that he was unfamiliar with, marking them down on the copy he had made.             With doubt still lingering, he finished translating the contract and began searching through the National Archives website. Scrolling through the webpage, he caught sight of a formal document.             He recognised the first of the two names, Alasdair William MacKenzie. The second name was Fergus Kennedy, clearly Meghan’s relative. Scanning the document, he froze.                          It was identical to the contract sitting in front of him.                         “Holy shit!”             It was real. There was an eight-hundred-year-old marriage contract between the Kennedys and the MacKenzies. He studied the date again. It was signed June 1314. There was no way it was legitimate, it didn’t matter that it was his and Meghan’s names were on it. It was written eight hundred years ago, for a different Meghan and a different William. There was no way it was meant for him and Meghan…now…in this time.             Even if it was, it wouldn’t help his cause. Meghan had been in a relationship with a man who had manipulated her. He didn’t want to force her into a marriage, he wanted her to come willingly. He’d have to be patient with her. For how long though? This business with Meghan was driving him crazy. He was tormenting himself just as much as he was tormenting her. It was time he figured out a new strategy.             The reality suddenly struck him. “Fuck.” He leant back in the chair and rubbed the stiff muscles in his shoulders. Was he actually contemplating marriage to a woman who wanted nothing from him but his friendship? He shook his head. He must be out of his mind.   AUTHOR Bio and Links:
Blindfolded Innocence (Innocence #1)by Alessandra Torre
Excerpt :
Brad walked alone through the club. Dancers nodded and squeezed his arm as he passed, but he didn’t stop, his eyes scanning the crowd for Montana and Julia. He had taken longer with Alexis then he had intended, and didn’t want Julia alone and pissed at the table. His eyes searched the crowd and finally stopped on the table where they had originally sat. His lips set, he strode forward.
He had to push himself through the crowd that had gathered, a mixture of drunk executives and Abercrombie-attired college boys. Julia was kneeling on the round table that had previously held their champagne flutes and ice bucket. Her strapless dress had been pulled down; her breasts were exposed and alert. Montana had an ice cube in her mouth and was running her mouth over Julia’s breasts, making her nipples stiff and pink. As he watched, Julia leaned forward and placed her hands on Montana’s breasts, pushing them together and kissing her deeply. Jesus Christ.
The girls separated. Montana sprinkled Julia’s nipples with the salt and then licked and sucked one of them, kissing Julia long and hard, both their hands roaming. Julia and Montana then grabbed shots of tequila and downed them, holding up the glasses in celebration.
The crowd cheered and started chanting. “Another! Another!” Their energy swelled, and Brad was jostled by a push of bodies behind him.
Where the fuck is Janine? He looked around but didn’t see her. Montana shouldn’t be drinking, though he could probably see how this had happened, and cursed himself for taking too long with Alexis. Finding a black-shirted security guard, he yelled into his ear, trying to make himself heard over the crowd. “Did Montana get approval to drink?”
“Yeah. Janine gave her an hour of drinking, then said she’d need to go home—no working afterward.”
“All right. Make sure the crowd stays under control and doesn’t mess with the girls.”
“You got it, boss. Ricky’s keeping an eye from the other side. Right now everyone’s behaving.”
Brad looked back to the two girls. Montana was pulling Julia’s dress over her head, exposing her tanned, toned stomach and a lace thong that left nothing to the imagination.  He groaned, the image pulling at his recently restored composure.
Saturday Promo - Lynda Aicher...
Blurb:
Book two of Wicked Play
When Kendra Morgan attends a party at an exclusive sex club, she's not driven by mere curiosity. Hoping to prove she's put the past behind her, Kendra must instead face up to needs she's denied for too long. Despite her lingering fears, she can't resist the temptation to play...
Deklan Winters has had his eye on his attractive neighbor for months, but only senses Kendra is no stranger to the BDSM scene when she walks into his club. And he can tell that's not her only secret. What surprises him is his own overwhelming desire to give her what she craves--and to show her a side to the Dom/sub relationship she's never known.
With Deklan's guidance, Kendra begins to accept her forbidden needs and to recognize the fine line between pleasure and pain. But when her former Master returns to reclaim her, it will take all her courage--and all of Deklan's love--to defy her past.For more tales from The Den check out Bonds of Trust.
Excerpt:
The bag taunted her. All glossy and black, with blood red letters embossed in an elegant script proclaiming the store name. It was a simple bag, really. A standard rectangle with rope handles in the style used by most clothing stores. Yet Kendra Morgan couldn't stop staring at it.
She moved to the right, edging around the end of her bed as if a different angle would change the effect. The shift in position caused the overhead light to glare against the shiny coating blurring the lettering, but the name was already imprinted in her mind.
If she was honest, and she was trying to be that now, it wasn't the bag itself that mocked her. No, it was the items inside that beckoned her in a silent whisper of repressed longing.
Kendra hugged herself as she struggled against her continuous inner battle. The one that waged between the desire to wear the garments and the repulsion that came with the thought of putting them on. But there was no denying the residual excitement building within her at the thought of the night to come. Of once again being in that environment surrounded by the sounds, smells and sights of forbidden acts and deviant desires played out.
Despite all reason and arguments against it, her body still responded. Her nipples ached for the pinch of a clamp and even now tingled with longing. It was a hunger that burned in her core and begged for release. Kendra inhaled, squeezing her eyes tight against the visions that dropped into her mind.
Spinning away from the damning bag and its seductive contents, she strode into the bathroom and turned on the shower. Letting the water warm, she dug through the drawers in the walk-in closet, hunting for the accessories she wanted.
Tonight was an opportunity to prove once and for all that she didn't want that--couldn't want that in her life. Returning to a BDSM club was another step in her own contrived rehabilitation program. She hoped it was the right one. The thought of living with her unfulfilled desires for the rest of her life was too discouraging to contemplate.
When she'd fled Eric eight months ago, she'd left with two bags, a prayer and a conviction that she'd never go back. It was all she'd dared to take. In truth, it was all she'd wanted. There'd been nothing in Eric's penthouse that had meant anything to her. He'd stripped everything of importance from her long before then.
Finding the box at the bottom of the last drawer, Kendra pulled it out and took it to the bathroom. The simple white cardboard was a standard discount jewelry box, nothing special to denote the significance of the contents. Setting it on the counter, she turned away, clenching her shaking hands in frustration.
She could do this. She needed to do this.
