Valuable Program for Teens
Attention Rainbow Rowell fans!
Attention Rainbow Rowell fans – her new book is almost here! If you’ve enjoyed reading Eleanor & Park or Fangirl, check out her latest title, Carry On. It will be available October 6 and tells the story of Simon Snow, the worst chosen one who’s even been chosen. At least, that’s what his roommate, Baz, says – and Baz might be evil and a vampire, but he’s usually right about these things. The book starts just as Baz goes missing. Simon is determined to find him, of course. (Simon is determined about a lot of things: getting his girlfriend back, making it through his last year of magic school, saving the world.)
You might recognize Simon and Baz from Rowell’s book Fangirl. But if you don’t, don’t worry about it; this is a standalone adventure. As Rainbow says, “I guess this is my first book you could call an adventure. It’s also a mystery and–more than anything–a love story.”
Put a copy of Carry On on hold here. If you haven’t read Eleanor & Park or Fangirl, yet, I highly suggest both. Click on the titles to place a hold in our new online catalog today!

What is your PIN in the new catalog?
This morning we made the big switch to our new catalog. Have you had a chance to log in and kick the tires yet? We have a brief How to Use the New Library Catalog to help you get started.
To log in, click either “Log In” or “My Account.” Enter your library card number, found on the back of your library card, and your PIN. Your PIN will be the last four digits of the phone number associated with your account.
You may have changed your PIN at some point so that it was different from your phone number but that change did not transfer over to the new system. Instead, the system defaults to the last four digits of your phone number. But never fear, you can still update your PIN to something different using the Change PIN page.
If you have any problems still accessing your account, give us a call at 616-784-2007. We’ll be happy to help.
