Dog Leads Rᴇsᴄᴜᴇʀs To A Box Filled With Sᴛʀᴀʏ Kittens, Then Becomes Their Adorable Foster Dad

Aragon, an adopted dog, was being taken for a walk by a mountain near Athens when he spotted a box of ᴀʙᴀɴᴅᴏɴᴇᴅ kittens.  His mom took them home to raise until they’re old enough to find families of their own, and Aragon has been a wonderful foster papa to them.

In their area, as well as other areas of Gʀᴇᴇᴄᴇ, it has become common for people to dump litters of kittens. The poor kittens are defenceless against ᴘʀᴇᴅᴀᴛᴏʀs and do not sᴜʀᴠɪᴠᴇ long in the ᴡɪʟᴅ, which is why the boxes tend to be empty.

Aragon’s mom is a volunteer at the animal charity, and she decided to make a video to expose how many ʜᴇʟᴘʟᴇss animals have been ᴍᴇʀᴄɪʟᴇssʟʏ ᴅᴜᴍᴘᴇᴅ up on the mountain.

They said: “Almost every day [Aragon’s mom] finds empty cardboard boxes on the mountain (sometimes with the blankets and the toys still inside), but no animals.” So, one day, Aragon’s mom brought her camera with her on their walk in order to get some footage for her video.

Since ᴡɪʟᴅ animals usually get a hold of the ᴀʙᴀɴᴅᴏɴᴇᴅ kittens within just a few hours, Aragon and his mom were only expecting to get a few shots of the many boxes that constantly litter the site.

But then, something incredible happened.

Aragon started pulling his mom towards a box and when they looked inside, they found an entire litter of kittens. Against all odds, they had sᴜʀᴠɪᴠᴇᴅ long enough to be discovered and saved.

They took the litter home, and Aragon immediately took on the role as foster father. He’d ʀᴇsᴄᴜᴇᴅ the sweet little babies, and now he was going to make sure that they had everything they needed.

The kittens got checked out by a ᴠᴇᴛ and the good people of SCARS took care of their every need, but nobody was as lovingly invested in the wellbeing of the little kittens as Aragon. They may not have been his biological children, but there was no doubt that they were his children at ʜᴇᴀʀᴛ.

He played with them, cuddled with them and gave them all the love and attention little kittens need from their daddy.

Thanks to Aragon’s skilled nose and big ʜᴇᴀʀᴛ, the kittens got a second shot of life.

The kittens thrived under the care of SCARS and Aragon made sure they had all the love and care they deserved. He made them feel loved and safe when they needed it the most, and we’re sure they’ll remember that for the rest of their lives.

Animals also know how to grieve when they lose the people they love. Just like it is with humans, the intensity of the loss and the manner of mourning this loss varies with dogs as well. This mother dog lost her puppies shortly after giving birth, it was heartbreaking for her.

In a heartbreaking footage, a mother dog is seen digging up the graves of her puppes and trying to take them away. The incident occurred in Suzhou, Anhui Province, China, when the puppies developed complications at birth.

The owner, Qin, said two puppies died at birth, and the mother then dug her puppies’ graves again five or six times.

In the first scene of the video, one of the dead puppies is seen in its mother’s mouth. The owner then consoles it and tries to get the puppy out of its mother’s teeth.

The second clip shows the mother licking the puppies’ bodies as she digs up the graves.

The mother dog cries and the owner tries to calm her down.

In the third scene of the video, the dog is seen walking with one of her dead puppies in her mouth along the way.

At the end of the video, Qin tried to grab the puppy that was in its mother’s mouth.

It is unclear if any of the other pups survived the dog’s birth.

Dog Refuses To Be Separated From His Elephant Friend In His Last Hours Of Life

In the animal kingdom, friendships can arise from any species and don’t differentiate sizes or colors. Although there are species that due to the order of the food chain do not get along. The rest have no reason not to relate, especially if they come from difficult situations. They seem to realize that they have suffered in some way and quickly create connections.

Pancake is a very loving dog. He was rescued from the streets three years ago and taken to an elephant sanctuary.

When Katherine Connor, founder, and CEO of BLES found out about Pancake, she adopted her and took her to the shelter. Where she has adapted very well, despite not being even remotely elephant-like, and of course she is aware of everything.

In fact, it is not uncommon for other BLES animals to get involved in the important things that happen or are about to happen.

Five years ago, she was rescued from a camp where she was forced to carry tourists on her back. And because of this her spine suffered a lot of damage and was about to break. Fortunately, he came to BLES at the age of 60. Where he was able to lead a life of peace and learn to know the things he liked.

Boon Thong, upon her arrival, made a connection with another elderly elephant named Sao Noi, who died two years ago. When Sao Noi was about to die, Boon Thong accompanied her, standing next to her and stroking her with his trunk to let her know she was accompanied.

This time it was Boon Thong’s turn to say goodbye to the underworld, but she was not alone either.

Pancake sensed that something was up, and when she saw that Boon Thong was feeling ill, she stayed by his side. She simply kept her company, but there was nothing to make her leave her alone, Katherine and Pancake finally gave themselves the task of accompanying her in her last days.

A highly exciting task, but one that certainly made Boon Thong feel honored.

On Boon Thong’s last day, Pancake and Katherine stayed by his side for nine hours.

As a tribute, her grave was filled with fruits and flowers. In addition, her body will rest next to the body of her good friend Saint Noi, and in the place where she can finally be happy and lead a full life.

After many days of treatment, the doggie gained some weight and her blood tests got better

“After receiving an enormous amount of IV fluids, blood transfusions, numerous visits to the doctor and many days of hospitalization, her red blood count is much higher and her protein level is stabilized.” Last update – the doggie was weighing 46 pounds, had great blood results and was coming off of steroids.
