Trying to find a balance between work, school, and publishing
Publishing World is always changing. Sometimes it is difficult to keep up with all the changes whether it is technical or business wise with publishing houses closing.
[image error]Photo by LinkedIn Sales Navigator on Pexels.comI’ve been away from writing and publishing for too long. My goal for the rest of the year and the coming year is to reestablish myself as a writer. It is time to say goodbye to writer’s block excuses and begin filling paper after paper with lists of this and that to give me jarrin...

If we were having coffee, I would tell you…. Summer is Almost Gone!
Hi There,
So much time has passed since we last met. I’m still in school burying my nose in textbooks every night. I just finished learning about Investment Analysis and International Business. I can’t wait for the day that I can afford to practice buying stocks and other securities.
It is so hard to believe that I have come so far in the past three years. The dream of having a college education is coming true. That goes to prove that one should never give up...

If We Were Having Coffee, I would tell you… 4th of July Holiday was The Hottest
Good grief!
I have longed for summer to start for the past six months but all that heat at once was not on my agenda. We have no Air Conditioning in our home due to the cost of the added electricity on the bill. The fans did run all week long, and they didn’t seem to help much with the high humidity. After taking Monday and Tuesday off and having Wednesday as my holiday, I could not wait to get back to work and find relief from the humidity by hiding at the office and e...

If We Were Having Coffee, I would tell you… it’s graduation!
Today was the day – Graduation Day! A day that I never thought would come until two years ago when I started my academic journey at Franklin Pierce University in the Associates of Arts for Business program.

The weather was blah, but that didn’t matter, I dressed to meet the challenge of staying warm and dry while waiting for my turn to walk across that stage and receive my announcement of conferral. When I left home at 8 in the...

Writing Progress – 4.9.18
It’s been a while since I wrote any fiction. I have about five unfinished manuscripts at various stages that I started over the past five years. This month I decided to pull out of the mothballs and commit to working on that one story every night with a minimum of 100 words.
Tonight I was 26 words under 5oo which is more than I had expected to write during that hour.
Finding time to write these days is hard.
No, wait, that is an excuse.
There have been some nights where I just sat at the scre...

Blue Eyed Beauty
Yes, she was one of those, a Blue Eyed Beauty. Her gaze could melt your heart. Man’s best friend loving to snuggle in that bed at night until she pushes you on the floor while she has the pillow all to herself.

Dogs are people too, the floor is hard, the bed is big and soft.
How long will you struggle with wrestling the blankets away?
Whatever you do, don’t get up to go to the bathroom or you wil...
