The carefully scrawled syllables were immediately forgotten. Ink from his tipped stylus bled through the papyrus. His lips were dry and he struggled to form a complete sentence. “Is this the latest fashion?”
Persephone shrugged. “So they say.”

it’s my birthday saturday and i don’t get many physical books anymore since i read everything on my kindle or phone mostly now, but i made an exception and ordered @kata-chthonia‘s Receiver of Many just now. Can’t wait to read it over the weekend!! (*cough* and take a break from NaNo *cough*)
