@enveniya Look what came in the mail an hour ago :)

It’s beautiful! It’s shadeing and the depth of the images turned out beautifully.

If you loved Receiver of Many -  get it?

If you love great art about Hades and Persephone-  get it?

I sure know I’m pretty happy about being able to read, marvel about and hug it.

LOOK WHAT CAME IN THE MAIL TODAY!!!!

i am overjoyed to finally have a copy of one of my favorite books. i devoured this story when it was on A03 before being published and fell so in love. i can honestly say i’ve lost track of how many times i’ve read the whole thing. its just so well done. Rachel Alexander is such a talented writer and i have her to thank for inspiring me to create a Persephone with the muse i’ve always had but never known what to do with. Receiver of Many definitely inspired me then and continues to still.

RoM is filled with plot twists, top of the notch smut and fluff alike, delightful takes on beloved characters, and the most beautiful writing i’ve come across in a long time. the author has such a wonderful way with words, each description so vividly fulfilling. the myth of Hades and Persephone has always always been my favorite, and seeing the story come alive in such a breathtaking, believable way is so refreshing.

word rant but i don’t care because i love this story so much. if you haven’t been able to read this, i highly recommend it. you won’t be disappointed. READDD IT.

Is your hades and Persephone series a trilogy or will there be more than three?

I have about 8 or 9 books planned. 8 for the series, 9 if you count the Titanomachy prequel I have mapped out

Book Recommendation Time: This book is the sequel to Rachel Alexander’s “Receiver of Many”, a retelling of the Hades and Persephone story.  Gorgeously written as erotica, it take the tale back to it’s earliest roots and explores a story very few people know.  Her writing is lush, descriptive, and so well researched, and I can’t wait to read the conclusion.

Check out Receiver of Many on Amazon, and consider pre-ordering Destroyer of Light.

Guys, I need to talk about the trash that I am. From all these games and all these books and not sleeping or sleeping too much. All of that makes me trash. But do you know what fuels me, what strengthens me?

Destroyer of Light.

Now, if you guys know anything about mythology then you should already know a bit about the first book, Receiver of Many. Yes! I, an asexual, am talking about an erotic novel. But hear me out.

See, the sex is just a bonus (as it always is) because the amazing thing is that the mythos seems so tangible. There is so much dedication in this duology, I can’t even tell you. It makes me want to achieve something like that.

Destroyer of Light is, obviously, the conclusion of the myth of Persephone’s rape (i.e. Being taken by Hades), but I know that the author will brilliantly tie in all the myths that occur after their marriage. I personally can’t wait to read it. I mean, I did devour the first one; may as well do the same thing to the second.

I just love religion, old or new. And this series brings them together. Thank you @kata-chthonia for such an excellent book. I can’t wait to read the second one.

what does nyx think about thanatos' (former) lifestyle? she did not seem a fan of eris.

I think she just lets him do as he does, and while she wouldn’t lead his lifestyle herself, I feel like she’s well aware of what kind of job stress Thanatos has to deal with. As far as Nyx is concerned, if he chooses to get around like a record, that’s his business.
