Hard at Work
I'm about a third of the way through my top 100 horror movie list and this is hard work. I guess I'm trying to think of 100 horror movies I liked and I'm not sure there are that many. I'm trying to avoid chocking it full of sequels, but some have made their way on the list so far.

Top 100 Horror Movies
Everyone's doing a top 100 something or other. It occurs to me I know a lil som'n about horror and I should probably make up my own top 100 horror movie list. Let me start in my own library. Oh, and my top 100 won't include anything before 1974. I don't really like the old, old stuff. I can't really put something in my top I don't like.

The Deadeners
I just posted the last entry for "Born Dead" in the Where's Paul Now? link and I just may have to revisit that story. It's better than I remember (if I don't mind saying so myself). The Deadeners is much longer than the other entries, maybe I should have split it up, it may even be disjointed. I'm not certain. But the next entry will be an entirely different story line.
On 2nd thought, I'm just going to steal heavily from this. The Deadeners are already in "The Golden Ones". But you'll ...

My New Monster...
I had a couple more thoughts. There has to be a means of transference, a way for my monster to make more of its kind. Obviously, Dracula comes to mind. The other element that isn't absolutely necessary, but does add a lot is tragic romance. Think Romeo and Juliet. The love that would be denied because of the love itself. Vampires loving werewolves. Twilight and Underworld.
My monster must also have a means of returning to life. After he has been slain, a cheat, a secret back door...
