I Hate it When....

I lose my writing. Okay, so I had a whirlwind tour in Toronto, gave a class, wrote 14 double sided pages of handwritten notes on my current work in progress, but since I've been hard at work on promotions--the final tour this week, working and got in sooo late from Toronto Sunday night, and keeping up with online workshop assignments...I've been dragging around my notes to work and back every ...

On to the Next Great Adventure!!

The publishing world is not static! :) You finish a book, and it's time to start another and while you're starting another, it's time to propose another and another. It's a constant...write, edit, propose, write some more....but of course not exactly in that order. Because edits come while writing and proposing, and so it's not this neat, do one, then go onto the next order of events. So when ...

Great Reviews and Whirlwind Tour Coming to an End! Today, I'm EVERYWHERE!

This review just in thanks to Kimberly Swan of Darque Reviews!!: To Tempt the Wolf is the third installment in the werewolf series by Terry Spear.  Each release has been even more exciting than the last, and they can also be read as stand-alones.  The non-stop action, chilling mystery, and fast-blooming romance combine to make this a book that you won't want to set down.  If you enjoy ...

"Engrossing and Entertaining!"--Trish, Horror and Fantasy Review Site

I'm up way too early, trying to get a synopsis written for the current wip (Book 6, Plight of the Wolf, title to change) so I can ship it off to my editor this morning before I trot off to work. I will really feel this by mid-day at work today!!!Here's my interview up at the SciFiGuy's spot of the world--specializing in urban fantasy, paranormal, and SF&F for a chance at a free ...

Adventures into the Unknown

I feel like this little guy sometimes when I'm trying out new things...new experiences, and it's both a ponderous thought and exciting too!!!Sometimes trying new promotion angles can get us out of our tried and true efforts and voila! We've got some real interest from far away places! One of our fellow Sourcebooks authors just informed us some of her earlier romance novels are being made into ...

Toronto was Great!

I had a great time, enjoyed seeing the city. Although I was told it was like NYC before I got there, I didn't find it was like the city at all there. But then maybe that was because of where I was at. It was interesting as far as the cultural diversity, lots of shows going on, a Korean festival in a park next door to the hotel, vegetable market inside a small mall. Here, I had dinner with a ...

My Publicist's Word on Guest Author Blogging!

First, I wanted to share that a couple of fans have written about wanting to see Meara's story from To Tempt the Wolf, and another also wants to see the heroine's brother and the reporter Rourke. It's really fun to me when fans ask to see other characters from the books, and to go back and read their roles and create a book where they are now the main character! From Destiny of the Wolf, fans ...

9-9-9, Nightmares, and Books and Needlepoint!

I learned a lot when I got up this morning after my horrible, awful, very bad nightmare filled night. First, 9-9-9 is considered lucky by some (Chinese), and unlucky by others (Japanese)... If my night was anything of a prediction of the day to come...it's a very bad, bad omen. LOL And then I learned that after Labor Day, you're not supposed to wear white, but though there are tons of reasons ...

Ack--Attack of the Spyware!!!

*sigh* I love the computer, the Internet and am lost without it!! Yesterday, I was trying to update my website because I'm getting SOOO many hits on it and I had to show that To Tempt the Wolf is no longer Upcoming Releases, but Out Now! So I wanted to use a banner site which I've used before to create a neat banner, and had no problem with. Except last night, I was attacked by spyware/adware. ...
