Looking for Answers
I am so excited about my new book, "Some Rivers End on the Day of the Dead," that I want to share it with everyone out there.
Somehow, I can't seem to get my title to show up on my author's page. Maybe I can delete my poetry book, which was more for family and friends.
"Some Rivers End" captures that important year, when one is 14, almost a woman, but in so many ways a child. And our heroine, Marisol, is a stranger in a new school with a lot on her mind besides her math homework.
The Day of the Dead is coming. She must get back to Mexico, for her father has died only recently. But wild fires hit California, and she has a heap of trouble in her heart.
