It's ok really, although I think it was more rhetorical than me expecting you to divulge secrets about your characters. I like the Dark Protector series they remind me of Lara Adrian's Midnight Breed series, which is why I started reading them. As a reader I think if I can passionately like or dislike a character I'm reading about and become so involved in the story that, after finishing the book I still feel captivated by it, then that writer did his or her job.

After reading all the Dark Protector books and awaiting the release of Shadowed, I realize Janie's character does not seem to grow. She remains the same spoil, naive and annoyingly arrogant girl at age twenty as she was at age four. I get that the war is apparently because of her but her since of entitlement like she deserves some type of respect or title without actually doing anything beyond existing is just irritating. When is she going to mature beyond the "it's all about me" behavior?

There will be more. :) We should have release dates for the next four stories soon. The first is Terrent and Maggie's novella, then Jase's book, then Lily and Caleb's novella, and finally Janie and Zane's book. Have a great rest of the weekend!
