Have An Enchanted April!
RELEASED TODAY!
A couple years ago I visited the lovely town of Saugatuck in Michigan, where I stayed at the gorgeous Beechwood Manor Inn. From that visit I was inspired to write a little comedy which later was named Another Enchanted April. I changed the name of the town to Beechwood, in honor of the Inn, and relocated it to the East Coast. The Inn itself went through a renovation in my mind to fit with the story. The tale plays homage not only to the Elizabeth von Arnim novel from where the title comes, Enchanted April, but also to Shakespeare. There's even a guest appearance by my rocker friend, Cyndie Hasty. So enjoy my little outlandish tale! It may not be Shakespeare, but at least it's not Shakespeare. Here's the blurb:
Can the idyllic simplicity of a garden change a life forever? It's a question three men on a vacation to the small seaside town of Beechwood will find the answer to when they stay at a B&B with an expansive and breathtakingly beautiful garden. A garden with an air of the supernatural. Jerry's there for love, Doug's there for sex, and Tony? Well, Tony is practically dragged along against his will. A comedy of errors ensues as the three men cling stubbornly to their self-destructive ways; can a cook named Anna Magnani, a roller-skating drag queen, and the magic of the garden tame the tempest and prevent love's labors from being lost?
You can get the ebook HERE and soon at Amazon as well.

Kitty vs Baby
You can subtract coolness points later, but I had to post this. A kitty and a baby! Wrestling! Adorable.

Johnny Flynn - Barnacled Warship
Don't know if I get the video, but it's visually arresting. And the song is great! Now back to my hibernating.

Downton Abbey
Watched Masterpiece Theater last night. They're running "Downton Abbey", a series with Maggie Smith and written by Julian Fellowes ("Gosford Park"). It's very good. Here's a small clip package of a few of the actors who are not Maggie Smith. But they are very sexy.
