Racking Up the Argh
Three strikes.
First my cell phone goes kaput. No big thing because I've been meaning to get a new cell anyway.
Then, yesterday while getting my workout on, the cable SNAPPED while I was doing leg extensions. Scary. Flashes of "Final Destination." I'm alive but the machine is...not.
THEN, my laptop did its tres annoying weekly updates yesterday and now it won't let me on the interweb at all. (I'm using another computer to write this.) I went to find the uploaded program which caused this mess but was unsuccessful.
I don't know how this will mark my posting here, but it might be even more sparse than usual for a while. At least until I get this laptop thing figured out.

Now, THIS is a Face!

Silent film actress Louise Brooks. This was style. Still a muse 25 years after her death. I'm working on a story with a main character whose looks are right out of her myth.

Eric Recommends: 50 Documentaries To See Before You Die

Documentarian Morgan Spurlock hosts this great 5 part countdown for Current TV. So far I've only seen a few on the list - Truth or Dare, March of the Penguins, Tongues Untied among them - but I'm expecting Grey Gardens and An Inconvenient Truth to make it as well. The series has also served as a reminder to me of other films, like Tarnation, that I still want to see. Episode 4 is next Tuesday on Current TV.
