30 Day Blogger, Day 20: A Hobby

Music. Not to play. I'm not lucky enough to have that talent. But listening and collecting it. I set aside a bit of time at the end of every day to sit back or lay down and listen to music. It's relaxing, I get to think, and sometimes, depending on the artist, it even verges on meditative. That might not qualify as a hobby, but collecting music does. I have started downloading a few songs, but if I still prefer to have the weight of a CD case in my hands. There's something about that tactile contact that will never be replaced by a flashdrive and a USB port. I have thousands of CDs. It's the one "thing" I am not trying to get rid of (I've lately begun to clean my life of unneeded material clutter).

Hot Shot: Against a Wall

His chest is real purty, but who leans naked against a cold, cement wall?

30 Day Blogger, Day 19: A Talent of Mine

I guess writing is out of contention since it's my career. So, I'll say working out. I've never been very good at any particular sport, but when it comes to weight training and fitness I have always excelled. For me, the two body parts that respond most hungrily are my thighs and my chest. Especially my chest. Even when I was sick, my pectorals were the first of my muscle groups to pump back up.

They're fun to play with, too.

Francois Sagat, Superstar!

The delicious Francois Sagat was named by Salon as one of 2010's Sexiest Men. Very cool that a mainstream publication "gets" him. He's so damn sexy he gives me convulsions.

30 Day Blogger, Day 18: A Favorite Sculpture

Bernini's David. Breathtaking. The movement of Bernini's work has always mesmerized me. Look at the emotion in the face. The biting of the lip. This is a David I could totally get with.
