His sad eyes pull back and forth to each of mine. “It’s okay if he is.”I shake my head.It’s the second time he’s said that, and I don’t like it one bit.

Chloe locks eyes with him while wearing her lust on her sleeve. “Who in the hell are you?” She moans it out as if he were everything she wanted. But both Chloe and I know that’s a lie. For one, he’s not Gage.“By all means, ladies first.” He walks his own circle around her, and now it feels as if I’m intruding on some primitive mating ritual.“Chloe Bishop.” She holds out her hand, and he’s quick to bring it to his lips.“Liam Oliver.”“Oliver?” Chloe’s eyes widen to the size of Texas. “Do tell…” She looks from me to my brother. “Where have they been hiding you all these years?” Chloe looks genuinely thrown for a loop.

It was supposed to be just for the summer…
Some people just don’t belong together, or at least that’s what the world would have them believe.
Reese Westfield comes from a world of old money, country clubs, cotillions, and expensive cars. She’s tired of dating Warren McCarthy just to make her father happy. Reese has long since had her eye on someone else, and this summer she’s determined to make it happen.
Growing up in Lake Loveless there has always been a strict monetary divide—there was the rest of the Lake and then there were the Waterman’s. Ace Waterman has worked for everything he has, and he doesn’t have a lot. He breaks his back doing grunt work while putting himself through college. He’s used to life passing him by.
Reese has loved Ace from afar for as long as she can remember. The summer of her freshman year she comes home with plans to land Ace in her bed at least for a few short weeks, and, if she’s lucky, forever.
Ace has loved Reese for as long as he can remember, but their friendship has never graduated beyond platonic, so when Reese comes home from her first year away and proposes the two of them have a summer fling, Ace is quick to comply. The rules: no strings, no expectations, just something hotter than the sun to set the sheets on fire.
But when their worlds collide, and neither of them is willing to admit to having true feelings, it becomes clear to Ace he’s nothing more than a dirty little secret—that the summer fling was just something meaningless to pass the time.
Reese wonders if she can ever stop trying to please her father, and it’s only through her mother’s letters that she finds the answers she truly seeks, but will they be the ones she wants to hear?

The Tuesday Tease

The Tuesday Tease!
Welcome back to the Tuesday Tease! It’s been a week of crazy edits, very little sleep, and some celebrating on my part due to the fact my author copies of Someone to Love came in. The books feel good. They are made of awesome. The rerelease is October 29th, so starting next week I’ll put up a rafflecopter with some signed books and a Kindle paper white!!
BEAUTIFUL OBLIVION is still (miraculously) on track for an October 22ndrelease date! That means I get to unleash Ace Waterman into the world. Seriously, the world needs more men like Ace.WINTER KISSES (3:AM Kisses #2) Laney and Ryder’s novella releases on November 1st! It is super steamy, dreamy and far more naughty than it ever is nice. Then we’re off to SUGAR KISSES, where Cole gets his boys handed to him by Roxy. Yeah, that will be fun. Next year brings WHISKEY KISSES, Holt’s story. Starting next week the Countenance owns me. The Tuesday Tease~!
Welcome back!
Today's post will be short and sweet because unlike the government I refuse to shut down. My editing efforts have been catapulted to triple time as I round out edits for three books this week. Someone For Me, Winter Kisses, and Beautiful Oblivion. Then I begin the writing process again—yay! Which means I finally get to put the pieces of Laken's life back together, followed by destroying Skyla's (a favorite hobby of mine.)

It’s obvious this night is going to end with a bang, and now I feel like an idiot for putting myself within shooting, or rather bedding range. Face it. Those dangerous blue eyes of his cast a spell over me, and now, I’m voluntarily striding into his penthouse just hoping for some perversion.He comes in close, and I’m terrified he’s going to kiss me and we’ll be tearing off one another’s clothes before I even get to berate myself properly for letting my vagina follow his happy trail right to his promiscuous penthouse.

“Have you ever had any, you know, special thoughts about me?” I trace my finger over his jawline.“Special? Is that the code for dirty? I suppose I could fess up to one or two.” He steals a kiss off my lips. “Like that time I locked you and Neva in a trashcan and rolled you downhill. That was pretty dirty.”I give a gentle laugh. “That was disgusting.”“Yeah, but you begged me to do it.”“That’s because we were stupid. You should have warned us that our hair would smell like sour milk for a week.” My fingers race to the lip of his jeans and I undo the button. “And, that’s not what I meant by dirty.”Ace bears into me with those cobalt eyes. “I know that’s not what you meant. You want to know if I think about you at night—if my body shakes at the thought of your perfect face when I’m alone in bed.” He slips his hand up my shirt, and I take in a breath as soon as his heated flesh touches mine. “If I’ve ever relieved any tension by imagining you and I doing this.” He lands a kiss at the base of my neck and I shudder into him. “Or this.” His hand sinks low on my waist, then lower still until his warm fingers find a home inside my thigh.

“Just what the doctor ordered.” I peck a kiss just shy of his lips. “Oh yeah?” He pulls me in and rubs his rough stubble over the side of my face, and I try to memorize the way he feels against me. “I could have sworn the doctor prescribed this.” He dives over my lips, and we stand there in Sleepy Hollow showering one another with our lingual affection until well after dawn.

The Tuesday Tease!
Welcome back! It’s Tuesday and that equals teasers~!BIG thank you to all who picked up 3:AM Kisses. I hope you’re having fun in Baya and Bryson’s world. If you enjoyed the story I’d appreciate it if you could leave a review, and big thank you for that as well!!! I finished Laney and Ryder’s novella, WINTER KISSES and that releases November 1st. Can’t wait to share. Book news, I hung out with Logan, Marshall, Cooper, and Wes a lot this week. Laken and Skyla are a little miffed their books are taking so damn long to come out, but good news for them, there are no more books in the writing queue! I feel like I can breathe again. Paragon just feels like home. BTW, I think I mentioned this last week but (gorgeous) Gage and I are working on a sekrit project, and I think I’ll be dishing on that the closer we get to Celestra Forever After.In the meantime on to the teasers!!!

I guess it doesn’t matter. She and I both know these moments are fleeting. But I meant it. I don’t want to miss a single minute with Laken.

Laken and I are lost in thought over the idea, so much so that I miss the next play. A violent yank to my shoulder nearly pushes me right out of the stands, and I turn to find Brielle screaming incoherently. All I hear are the words, Gage, hurt, the field…Oh F*ck.
