Laney and Ryder's story is almost here!!! I have been dying to show you this awesome cover because both the fabulous Regina Wamba and the amazing Sarah Hansen joined forces to create this early Christmas miracle.

Welcome back to the Tuesday tease!Books! Beautiful Oblivion releases next Tuesday! BIG UPDATE: Need a fix of your favorite Sector? I put a naughty vignette in the back of Beautiful Oblivion. The Tuesday Tease!

Welcome back to the Tuesday Tease! It’s been a week of crazy edits, very little sleep, and some celebrating on my part due to the fact my author copies of Someone to Love came in. The books feel good. They are made of awesome. The rerelease is October 29th, so starting next week I’ll put up a rafflecopter with some signed books and a Kindle paper white!!
BEAUTIFUL OBLIVION is still (miraculously) on track for an October 22ndrelease date! That means I get to unleash Ace Waterman into the world. Seriously, the world needs more men like Ace.WINTER KISSES (3:AM Kisses #2) Laney and Ryder’s novella releases on November 1st! It is super steamy, dreamy and far more naughty than it ever is nice. Then we’re off to SUGAR KISSES, where Cole gets his boys handed to him by Roxy. Yeah, that will be fun. Next year brings WHISKEY KISSES, Holt’s story. Starting next week the Countenance owns me. I’ll be at the Ephemeral Academy hanging with Laken, Coop and Wes until we straighten out that little thing called their lives. It’s going to get ugly. The good news is it picks up on Paragon, so already I feel like I’m going home.On to the teasers!

Laney reaches down and pulls her dress off in one Herculean move. Her bra slides to the floor as she leans against the bedpost, bearing herself to me in all her God given glory. Her eyes widen as she licks the rim of her lips, flirting, tempting me to take a bite out of her in all the right places.

Her mouth curves with a slow smile. She seals her hips to mine once again and my gut flinches because it’s torture having her so close and not being able to touch her the way I want, the ways I’ve meditated over for so many years.“I want you to be my first, Ace.” The smile melts off her face as her lips come in close again. “I want to know the things you know, do the things you do—withyou.”“Reese,” I let it out in a heated whisper. “You need to do those things with someone who means something to you—someone special. Don’t waste your time with a guy like me.” I came within an inch of calling myself a loser which I don’t believe for a second, but, in a way, I think my dad has been right all along, Reese doesn’t belong with someone like me.

“Was I smiling?” His eyes continue their viral assault on my hormones, and I’m about to have a double orgasm without the satisfaction of having it derived from his lips.“Damn straight you’re smiling because you and I both know it’s your lucky day.” Did that just fly out of my mouth? God I love it when the whiskey talks, and takes off my clothes, and lands me in bed with the exact person I swore to never speak to again. Note to self, make shrine to whiskey before setting the whole damn bar on fire for housing the promiscuous poison.

Welcome back! 
Today's post will be short and sweet because unlike the government I refuse to shut down. My editing efforts have been catapulted to triple time as I round out edits for three books this week. Someone For Me, Winter Kisses, and Beautiful Oblivion. Then I begin the writing process again—yay! Which means I finally get to put the pieces of Laken's life back together, followed by destroying Skyla's (a favorite hobby of mine.)

“Capwell”—he gives the ghost of a smile—“Ryder, Capwell,” he rumbles in his deepest octave and my stomach pinches tight. “I’ve always wanted to say that.” He smolders into me without even trying, and good God almighty I’m way past the point of being seduced. It’s obvious this night is going to end with a bang, and now I feel like an idiot for putting myself within shooting, or rather bedding range. Face it. Those dangerous blue eyes of his cast a spell over me, and now, I’m voluntarily striding into his penthouse just hoping for some perversion.He comes in close, and I’m terrified he’s going to kiss me and we’ll be tearing off one another’s clothes before I even get to berate myself properly for letting my vagina follow his happy trail right to his promiscuous penthouse.  


Beautiful Oblivion (Releases late October!!!)(Reese with Ace)*Reese’s POV
“Have you ever had any, you know, special thoughts about me?” I trace my finger over his jawline.“Special? Is that the code for dirty? I suppose I could fess up to one or two.” He steals a kiss off my lips. “Like that time I locked you and Neva in a trashcan and rolled you downhill. That was pretty dirty.”I give a gentle laugh. “That was disgusting.”“Yeah, but you begged me to do it.”“That’s because we were stupid. You should have warned us that our hair would smell like sour milk for a week.” My fingers race to the lip of his jeans and I undo the button. “And, that’s not what I meant by dirty.”Ace bears into me with those cobalt eyes. “I know that’s not what you meant. You want to know if I think about you at night—if my body shakes at the thought of your perfect face when I’m alone in bed.” He slips his hand up my shirt, and I take in a breath as soon as his heated flesh touches mine. “If I’ve ever relieved any tension by imagining you and I doing this.” He lands a kiss at the base of my neck and I shudder into him. “Or this.” His hand sinks low on my waist, then lower still until his warm fingers find a home inside my thigh.

“Just what the doctor ordered.” I peck a kiss just shy of his lips. “Oh yeah?” He pulls me in and rubs his rough stubble over the side of my face, and I try to memorize the way he feels against me. “I could have sworn the doctor prescribed this.” He dives over my lips, and we stand there in Sleepy Hollow showering one another with our lingual affection until well after dawn.

“A poison apple?” I scoff at his less than stellar genius. “How original.”“It is and it was. I’ll have you know that idea was stolen from me. Those damn Grimm brothers were about as annoying as the Olivers.”

Can’t wait to share. Book news, I hung out with Logan, Marshall, Cooper, and Wes a lot this week. Laken and Skyla are a little miffed their books are taking so damn long to come out, but good news for them, there are no more books in the writing queue! I feel like I can breathe again. Paragon just feels like home. BTW, I think I mentioned this last week but (gorgeous) Gage and I are working on a sekrit project, and I think I’ll be dishing on that the closer we get to Celestra Forever After.In the meantime on to the teasers!!!

“Heads, we play Monopoly. Tails, we skinny dip,” Ace gives a dirty grin that I wish I could bury the most intimate part of me in. He’s been grazing over my body all night with those navy eyes, the exact shade of the deepest end of the ocean, and my insides have long since melted to cinder.Skinny dip? I try to hide the smile threatening to bloom on my face. I’m addicted to Ace. No really, I am. In fact I think they should have rehab and group therapy for girls like me who have spent far too long worshiping from afar. Can’t sleep. I’d try counting sheep but I know for a fact they’d all morph into Laken.Her thigh brushes over mine as she scoots back into me. “You asleep?”“Are you kidding?” I wrap my arm around her waist and pull her in tight. “And miss a moment of you by my side?” Way to sound desperate and sarcastic all rolled into one. I guess it doesn’t matter. She and I both know these moments are fleeting. But I meant it. I don’t want to miss a single minute with Laken.
CELESTRA FOREVER AFTER *Skyla’s POV (At a football game at Host with Laken and Brielle)
Laken and I are lost in thought over the idea, so much so that I miss the next play. A violent yank to my shoulder nearly pushes me right out of the stands, and I turn to find Brielle screaming incoherently. All I hear are the words, Gage, hurt, the field…Oh F*ck.

Sometimes life has its way with you. It peels back the layers of your existence like the skin of an onion until the real you glows underneath, raw and painful to the touch. It’s in those moments, in that hour, you look to those that give you strength—for me, that person was my brother. He was the one that put me on a pedestal after tragedy struck in our young lives. He promised to always look after me. To make sure that I wouldn’t stumble in life and that the right people would land beside me along the way. It’s no coincidence most of those people were of the estrogen card-carrying variety. My brother loves me so much he pinned me high on the good girl board long before I could have contested the effort, and, now that I’m admiring the view below, I’m not so sure I want to be the poster child for innocence anymore. It’s funny how something like death, which isn’t funny at all, can shape your destiny. When my father was alive, all he talked about was his heyday at Whitney Briggs, and, of course, being little I imagined him stuck on a farm, pitching straw over his shoulder—but Whitney Briggs is a far cry from any countryside barn. Whitney Briggs University is billed as a cosmopolitan educational institution tucked in the blue mountains of North Carolina, and, so, after he died, both my brother and I set our scholastic compass in that direction. That’s where destiny kicks in, and I meet him. Bryson Edwards. Even his name makes me sigh.He’s right here, and I want nothing more than to close the gap between us until he falls into me. I’m boiling over, ready to have him, ready for him to have me any way he wishes.I stretch my arms up over my head and wriggle my body into his mattress.His chest ticks with a silent laugh. “Whatever it is you’re doing, keep doing it.” A seam of moonlight catches his features, exposing the fact he clearly approves.“I’m settling in.” I twist my hips into the bed. “I think I could get a good night’s sleep here.”“Oh, sweetie”—he growls it out as the smile slides off his face —“if you spent the night in my room, there wouldn’t be a whole hell of a lot of sleeping going on.” His fiery breath sears over my mouth like a promise. “And, if you did happen to fall asleep, I’d be guilty of doing something very, very wrong.” My fingers run down his granite-like abs and unbutton his jeans. I glide down the bed and plant a kiss just above his boxers.“I don’t plan on sleeping,” I say, it low like a threat. “And neither should you.”

Even if I was still above ground I’d be damned without Laken.

The door opens and it’s not Laken, it’s Coop—thankfully alone. I’m not sure how I’d feel if they were tag-teaming me to let me in on their “feelings” for one another.Fletch looks up from his desk. “What’s up Coop?”“Not much.” He steps in shooting me an apprehensive look. “You mind if I get a minute alone with Wes?”“Why? You want to dry hump his leg?” Fletch settles back into his sports article. “Get out, Fletch,” I bark it out a little harsher than anticipated.Fletch gets up and tosses a pair of socks at me. “I’ll be back in ten. Try not to let him get you to second base until the next date.” He takes off and entombs the two of us in this tiny room. It feels like a cage—like a prison cell, a death chamber.I force myself to look at him. He used to be someone I counted as a friend, but now I can’t make it past the fact he’s some guy that Laken has willingly sealed her lips over—that she almost replaced me with him because I couldn’t believe a word she said. My gut cinches as he takes a seat across from me because deep down I’m afraid Laken has already done just that, replaced me.
CELESTRA FOREVER AFTER(A table full of dinner guests at the Landon’s house.)(Skyla’s POV) (This scene will be fleshed out but I cut a bit because it contained spoilers for those who haven’t finished ELYSIAN yet.)
“We have some special news.” I swallow hard as I take one final look around at the faces staring back at me. This is it. This very next sentence is going to change everything and I’ll forever be thought of in a different light.Mom holds a piece of paper in the air. “Does this have anything to do with your specialnews?” She spits it out with vim and vinegar because, holy hell she is pissed to high heaven. I cut a quick glance to Emma who looks equally dissatisfied with me but it’s tough to gauge if she’s in on my not-so little secret because she’s usually ticked at me in general these days.“Is this how you wanted me to find out?” Mom goes off in a rage trying to extricate something from the poor envelope she’s unwittingly shredded. She holds out a small credit card size piece of plastic and shakes it at me in her balled up fist. “The DMV Skyla?” The entire house shakes with the echo of her voice.Oh crap. She does know.

Cover reveal for Beautiful Oblivion!

OK, I've been DYING to share with you, my hot new romance, a New Adult novel entitled, BEAUTIFUL OBLIVION. 


Wow, right? The awesome Regina Wamba was kind enough to make this gorgeous cover for me. And I cannot wait to share Reese and Ace's love story with you. Right now the release date is set for October 22. This story has a lot of heart, a lot of soul, and for sure a lot of steam. I'll start with the teasers tomorrow but first, here's the book description:

Reese has loved Ace from afar for as long as she can remember. The summer of her freshman year she comes home with plans to land Ace in her bed at least for a few short weeks, and, if she’s lucky, forever.
Ace has loved Reese for as long as he can remember, but their friendship has never graduated beyond platonic, so when Reese comes home from her first year away and proposes the two of them have a summer fling, Ace is quick to comply. The rules: no strings, no expectations, just something hotter than the sun to set the sheets on fire.
But when their worlds collide, and neither of them is willing to admit to having true feelings, it becomes clear to Ace he’s nothing more than a dirty little secret—that the summer fling was just something meaningless to pass the time.
Reese wonders if she can ever stop trying to please her father, and it’s only through her mother’s letters that she finds the answers she truly seeks, but will they be the ones she wants to hear?
