Merry Christmas and the Tuesday tease~!
Merry Christmas! I hope Santa brings it all! Unless of course you've been naughty, then I hope he leaves a shirtless cover model in your oversized stocking to teach you a lesson or two. ;)
ENTROPY releases this Friday! Yes! There's an end at last to Laken's story. I hope you enjoyed the stay the Ephemeral Academy. Laken, Cooper, and Wesley all wish you a Merry Christmas and hope you love the final ride. I had a blast with Entropy and I hope you will, too!

Prologue (Laken's POV)
There is a shift in your mental state when death comes to knock you off balance—you become the odd pendulum, swinging too quickly—the clock on the wall with hands spinning out of control—the haunted door opening and shutting at an alarming pace for no one in particular. It is a dimension within a dimension, of sight and sound, with no eyes and no ears. You are the world’s. They can see you, touch you, feel you. You are so real in their fantasy it is almost unfair. But there is balance. After all, this is an orderly universe, created by an orderly God, who gives consideration to His every form of entropy. For so long, I thought I was lost, meandering, a still life on some incomprehensible canvas, swimming in the torrential river of someone else’s dream. Shattered, I watched as He put together the pieces, dislodged the bone of grief that dammed up the words I was choking on. The consolation came right on time but not before I walked through the valley of the shadow of death.
SUGAR KISSES (3:AM Kisses Book 3)
Roxy and Cole’s story. (Cole’s POV at the apartment while Roxy bakes in the kitchen.)
Roxy’s hair is spun in a knot with a wooden spoon driven through the beautiful mess. Her face is coated with powder. The entire kitchen looks as if a flour bomb went off, but her eyes glow like two hazel beacons warning me not to get too close or me and my dick will run aground faster than we did before.I step in close behind her and lean in with my cheek less than a breath from hers. The warmth from her skin radiates over mine, and it takes a lot more effort than my testosterone-laden brain can muster not to steal another kiss off those pillow soft lips. I swipe my finger through the batter and jam it in my mouth, moaning hard into her ear. Roxy takes a breath, expanding her back over my chest. I go with it and tuck my lips into her vanilla scented neck.She flicks the fork in her hand and a glob of batter blinds me.“Crap.” “I never miss.” She glances down at my crotch. “Don’t you forget it.”

By the way, I’m not into bruising—I’m into disfiguring. I’d like nothing more than inverting your baby blues—pulling your vocal cords out through your nose—so think twice before you threaten me.” He pulls me in by the shirt until we’re nose to nose. “Don’t you ever forget who I am and what I can do.” He shoves me into the wall before turning away. I don’t waste a moment before kicking his feet out from under him.

Welcome back to the Tuesday tease!
Wow, December is melting away. I hope you're far more on top of the season than I am. I'm going to have a wrap-fest this weekend. I wouldn't mind a few elves to help out right about now.

Entropy is DONE. Yes, done. And the release date is.... December 27th!!! Finally, Laken gets the rest of her story. I really LOVE this book, and I love this trilogy. It all ends at the Ephemeral Academy. I hope you'll enjoy the ride. The last adventure is a wild one.
Celestra Forever After is moving to the front burner! I'll be editing other books but this one will be the one I'm writing. It's in bits and pieces so I'll have to put it together. I really want to do Skyla justice in this new series. This new part of her life is very important because she's coming into her own in so many ways.
Enough of my rambling. On to the teasers!

“Chocolate’s my favorite.” He takes a bite and freezes. His apple green eyes lay over mine, and he doesn’t move. Cole doesn’t breathe. He finishes it off in a few quick bites, and a roar gurgles from his throat.“I like to call it nothing’s better than sex with Cole Brighton cake. I bet I could sell them by the dozen just standing outside sorority row.” There’s a fun fact.

Jen looks right at me, drilling those smoky blue eyes into mine as if she were looking to start a fight. “I think you should kiss him. Kiss him with your entire soul, Laken. Let it be the longest, most satisfying kiss a girl could ever have, and make sure you remember every single second. Then say goodbye and come right back.” She gives a sad, slow nod as a single tear glides down her cheek. “Go right now, Laken. Don’t waste another minute.”“Now?” My gut explodes in a ball of heat just thinking of sharing one last kiss with Coop. “Can I borrow your car?”“You won’t have to. I came up to tell you he’s here to see you. He’s waiting for you in the kitchen.” She gives me a gentle shove off the bed. “Go.”

The Tuesday tease!
It's happening again—Tuesday! I hope you all had a great week of shopping, decorating, and maybe even sneaking in a nap or two.
Book news: I turned in the final edits of SOMEONE FOR ME, the last story for Kenny and Cruise. It was bittersweet but it's a wild ride, and I hope you'll have as much fun with it as I did. SOMEONE LIKE YOU (the second book in the Someone to Love series) is slated for release on January 28th! Eek! I'm SO—SOOO excited!
Entropy is done, done, done, just waiting for feedback from my Betas and a final sweep-through from my editor. It's December so everyone is moving at holiday pace but I'm going to push hard to get this book out to you this month.

Christmas Lites III and Tuesday teasers!
Happy Tuesday! Only 3 more until Christmas! (Yeah, that...)
ENTROPY is off to the editor and Betas, so I'll most likely do a cover reveal next Tuesday. As long as my editor doesn't make me hack it to pieces the book should be out this month, yay!!!
But... Christmas Lites III is out TODAY!!!! Christmas Lites is an anthology of Christmas stories by various authors, and all of the proceeds go toward the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence. Christmas Lites is the brainchild of the awesome Amy Eye. My contribution is a glimpse into BEAUTIFUL ILLUSIONS, Gavin's story. I hope you all enjoy the trip back to Lake Loveless. It's Christmas time and well, Gavin is hawt. ;) Happy reading~!

He’s not the one for you.” Done. Every word I wish to God I had never said just spilled out like a sea of secrets my soul was too weak to keep. At least I didn’t say his name. I put Coop in a jar and didn’t take the lid off. He’s like a freaking apparition. Say his name and you can conjure him right here in the flesh. Laken bites down over her bottom lip. A single tear rolls down her cheek like a star dropping from the tired sky.

Wes crashes over me with a kiss. His mind opens, murky at first then clear and light as if it were a dark cave and he had invited in the sun. Wes shows me an image of a couple lying on top of dark sheets—two vanilla bodies writhing over one another. I recognize that dark-haired boy with his body of chiseled marble, hands as wide as baseball mitts as they travel down familiar thighs, mine. I pull back, panting. “Wes.” A smile comes uninvited to my lips. “I’d say get your mind out of the gutter but I like it.” I look down because Coop is in the room, and I want nothing more than for the sparkling chandelier hanging up above to fall on my head.

Heartbreak comes in colors, mostly greys and blues, but love comes in a burst—a rainbow exploding over you like confetti. Great news! ENTROPY is DONE!!!!! Well, not done-done, but it's thisclose. I penned the end, and now my editor and I can henpeck it to death. I'll try to move on with the cover.
What to tease next? I'll finish out the Entropy teasers and of course Celestra Forever After. I'll start up with Sugar Kisses soon as well as Someone Like You which is set to release January 28, 2014.
And finally Beautiful Illusions (Beautiful Oblivion Book 2) will have a special preview in Christmas Lites III (all proceeds from Christmas Lites III go to the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence). I can't wait to share more of Gavin with you!!!

Wes crashes over me with a kiss. His mind opens, murky at first then clear and light as if it were a dark cave and he had invited in the sun. Wes shows me an image of a couple lying on top of dark sheets—two vanilla bodies writhing over one another. I recognize that dark-haired boy with his body of chiseled marble, hands as wide as baseball mitts as they travel down familiar thighs, mine. I pull back, panting. “Wes.” A smile comes uninvited to my lips. “I’d say get your mind out of the gutter but I like it.” I look down because Coop is in the room, and I want nothing more than for the sparkling chandelier hanging up above to fall on my head.

Skyla lands those pale blue eyes over mine, and I melt into her. I want to pull her deep into the bed of my truck and take her right here just shy of the Paragon Harbor parking lot. “The fact that I’ve been holding you off at an arm’s length.”“What?” I tick my head back an inch. “If you’ve been giving me the cold shoulder, you’ve been doing a lousy job.”

Then I’ll make you mine, now and forever.
