Heralding a new worldview, thanks to UFOs

“I know what you have done to my people.” Then like a human, I asked him, “What can you offer me?” He said, “A new world, if you can take it.” Then he asked me to shut down my radar for ten minutes. I said to myself, “If I shut my radar down, ten minutes could be an eternity.” How did that thing know that I was the only man that could give that order?”Learning from the past Harris shares evidence that humans have interacted with UFOs, such as Zecharia Sitchin has shared showing that ancient Sumerians wrote the story of mankind on clay tablets some 6,000 years ago, showing they knew the sun was the center of our solar system and they knew about planets such as Pluto that have only recently in the last couple of centuries been detected by modern scientists. Evidence showing that nuclear weapons were deployed in 2024 B.C. raises questions that Sitchin asked, such as:
“Is Man born a warrior, or did someone teach us to make war? The answer is the latter. Before the wars of man, there were the Wars of the Gods. Specifically, it was during the conflict between Horus and Seth, according to unambiguous Egyptian texts, that humans were given arms and enlisted to fight, on the side of Horus, at that time. And so, it was that in the conflict between the two clans of Anunnaki nuclear weapons were used to wipe out the spaceport in the Sinai (an event reflected in the biblical tale of Sodom and Gomorrah), there was, before that, an international war related to the spaceport (the so-called “war of the Kings” in Genesis chapter 14). The nuclear cloud from the explosion in the Sinai was carried by the winds eastward to Mesopotamia, and numerous Lamentation Texts describe how the Evil Wind, the nuclear cloud, killed all life in Sumer.”Awakening to our soul’s purpose Dr. Leo Sprinkle captures some of the feeling that many of us (myself included) have had when witnessing UFOs and interdimensional beings in the sky, in our dreams, and in our daydreams. Sprinkle points out that these interactions influence on two levels–as individuals, and on a societal level. Sprinkle says:
“Many people go through this fear and this doubt, because, not only are they coming in contact with extraterrestrials, which is a shock–but also, they are coming in contact with their own soul’s purpose, which is a bear! It is beastly to know that we are here for a high purpose to help ourselves, to help humanity get through this stage in which the Earth is going through some changes. Humanity itself is going through some changes. The outcome, if it’s successful, could lead into our being inducted into a confederation of civilizations of other cultures.”Government agreements and disclosure Dr. Steven Greer approaches the topic of government knowledge and disclosure of knowledge of UFOs with delicate diplomacy, when Harris inquires whether there is a cosmic federation which has established relations with certain government leaders, requesting to be here on Earth:
“This is a subject which must be approached with caution. I believe there were meetings similar to what you describe, but we subsequently betrayed the ETs. And that’s not all. The so-called “Extraterrestrial Federation” was, and is, being targeted by bombs and weapons used to track them down and kill them. Basically, if we believe that ETs are collaborating with the military, it’s because the military has craft similar to alien craft.”Sergeant Clifford Stone shared insights gleaned from meeting extraterrestrials, indicating that 57 different races have been been identified. Stone pointed out that governments are focused on national security, military applications, and new technology, with everything else being secondary. Harris replied, “In other words, the government gets everything it can out of this contact. In the meantime, no one worries about interior development or the spiritual side of the UFO presence.” Stone replied:
“Absolutely. They don’t give it a thought. But in reality, the spiritual aspect of the UFO phenomenon must be given the utmost consideration.”Pivotal moments and meaningful coincidences Paola Harris describes numerous remarkable meaningful coincidences and alignment of events in “Connecting the Dots” that highlight the deeply interconnected nature of this phenomena that operates much more deeply than at surface levels. Harris specifically notes the August 1987 Harmonic Convergence organized by Jose Arguelles, which was initiated in advance of the coming of long-prophesied transformational times in order to positively influence the Earth and all of humanity at that time and going forward. Global Human Mind Redesign I had an extraordinary series of daily interdimensional encounters in 1987, after the Harmonic Convergence. This was at a time when I was employed by day as a project manager working at Citibank in the Information Technology division, and working 10 hour days. In a lucid dream, I was interviewed for a job I never applied for by a tall humanoid being who first simply requested that I select the “best head of lettuce” from a vegetable stand. I selected the one that energetically shone most brightly, and apparently this was all that was required for me to pass this test. I was then escorted into a large auditorium where hundreds of beings were already seated, for a presentation on the project I was invited to join–a Global Human Mind Redesign project. The goal of this project was to make available to humanity new ways of thinking that would continue to expand human creativity and empathy via shared awareness, while not exacerbating craziness or any forms of insanity. Many teams of extraterrestrials would be submitting their proposed design concepts, and I was part of the review Quality Assurance team who would personally try out each of these designs, and provide feedback, with veto power. I was to give all feedback directly to the team members who presented these designs, in order that they could learn and perhaps incorporate this information for future efforts. The dual goals of increased empathy with improved creativity presented some interesting designs, and they were remarkably varied. Empathy could be greatly enhanced via hive-mind like qualities, but employing such interchangeable elements typically reduced access to inspiration we know to be so priceless in creativity. During a period of two to three weeks, every night when I went to sleep I would awaken within my dreams, and find myself continuing my essential role in this “Global Human Mind Redesign” project. When the designs presented to me were clearly wonderful and obviously fun to embody, I was happy to share such good news with the extraterrestrial design teams. When the designs were clearly not acceptable because they would obviously lead whoever was stuck with that mind design into some kind of depression or other forms of insanity, I was not so happy to be the bearer of bad news that this particular design in question was a no-go, and I was stopping it from being employed. The extraterrestrials who came up with the designs I liked tended to be humanoids with very loving demeanor and the kind of folks I’d be happy to hang out with–whereas the extraterrestrials I was delivering the bad news to tended to be very different from humans, such as large, serious reptiles or insectoids. I was further disturbed to note that some of these unaccepted designs belonged to teams that were clearly at war with others, which surprised me, since I would have expected everyone working on the Global Human Mind Redesign project to be peaceful, loving, and kind. Clearly these teams were still engaged in working some of these social issues out. When my time on the project wrapped up, I was relieved and rather alarmed that I’d been spending the past few weeks on spaceships just above my house and working with so many aliens. I told my husband about all this, and when he asked where I’d been going, all I could do was point up in the dark early morning sky and say, “The ships are invisible, but they are there, and they are quite large.” I was emotionally drained and rattled at the time by this experience. A few years later, I heard about new terms for “Crystal,” “Indigo” and “Rainbow” children, who have been noted for tapping into internal wisdom and knowledge. These Starseed individuals are now adults who are capable of making the best of these transformational times. Expanding our worldview We humans have reached a time when we can experience remarkable synchronicity, and meaningful coincidences individually and together, as we witness how there appears to be much more to reality than what most of us were taught in school. We can glean revelations of a brand new world view, and begin to appreciate such things as the reality of ideas, and our own free will to choose which ideas we bring into ourselves, and into the world.

How can we create a sane world amidst chaos?

“Let us keep the discoveries and indisputable measurements of physics. But let us not become bound and fettered to the perspective of final equilibrium that they seem to suggest. A more complete study of the movements of the world oblige us, little by little, to turn it upside down; in other words, to discover that if things hold and hold together, it is only by reason of complexity, from above.”For a variety of reasons, it can seem these days that a great deal of independence and personal freedoms are being challenged when it comes to choices regarding: food, health, and information sources. When we hear world leaders calling for: war instead of peace; surveillance of individuals rather than transparency of government offices and actions; and enforcement of global health regulations rather than open scientific discussions–we can observe that there appears to be a rift between what most people would choose (peace, safety, and love) and what is being planned (war, destabilization, and fear). Self-organizing in Chaos Theory
The word “complexity” comes from the Latin complexus, meaning entwined or
embraced. Complex systems are those whose elements are difficult to separate, due to
interactions between elements. Complexity science aims to better understand and predict behavior of natural systems such as: weather systems, volcanic activity, tectonic plate movements, activity in a city, economic trends, and most all aspects of living organisms. According to Chaos Theory, self-organization occurs within systems that are far from a stable order. This sounds counter-intuitive at first, so it’s helpful to take a look at where this happens. Self-organization occurs in many physical, chemical, biological, robotic, and cognitive systems. Examples of self-organization include: crystallization, thermal convection of fluids, chemical oscillation, animal swarming, neural circuits, and black markets. Examples of self-organization can be found in physical and biological systems in: sand grains assembling into rippled dunes, chemical reactants forming swirling spirals, cells comprising structured tissues, fish joining together into schools, and birds joining together in flocks. How might we recognize the dawning of self-organizing systems, at these times when human organizations appear to be experiencing great chaos? One excellent place to look is in the sensed presence of adjacent possible realities.

Stuart Kauffman and Cynthia Sue Larson at UC Berkeley, August 15, 2015
Sensing Adjacent Possibles Stuart Kauffman recognizes the importance of future, uncertain possible states that he calls “adjacent possibles,” which he’d originally utilized in the context of biochemistry when defining the current set of organic molecules or “actual” systems as,“all the kinds of organic molecules on, within, or in the vicinity of the Earth, say, out to twice the radius of the moon.”Kauffman then differentiated that the “actual” set was separate from the “adjacent possible,” where “all of those molecular species that are not members of the actual, but are one reaction step away from the actual.” Kauffman expanded the context of where we might find adjacent possibles in the realm of evolving human social, cultural, and economic systems in his book, Humanity in a Creative Universe:
“New goods and production capacities are new Actuals that are enabling constraints that do not cause, but enable new, typically unprestatable Adjacent Possible economic opportunities into which the economy “flows,” creating again new unprestatable new Actuals that enable yet new Adjacent Possibles. Economic evolution is open-ended, creative, beyond entailing law, and radically emergent.”Social transformations and evolution appear to exhibit both a sensitivity to initial conditions, as well as something that systems-thinkers refer to as “path-dependence”–which together can help us glimpse where we may start to recognize and appreciate formation of Adjacent Possibles. There is an ongoing, iterative process at work here, such that the “strange attractors” of chaos theory that emerge and stabilize even amidst deterministic chaos become new Actuals. And humans are apparently made to perceive and process remarkably subtle information, as Sean O’Nuallain describes regarding his research with Walter Freeman, appreciating the brain’s fractal architecture. O’Nuallain proposes,
“that the brain functions far from thermodynamic equilibrium. We suggest that the brain moves in an extremely high-dimensional state space in a manner facilitated by the fact that it is permeated with self-similarity, both spatial and temporal. At the spatial level, self-similarity ensures that, in fractal fashion, each neuron changes in step with the cortex as a whole. In temporal fashion, self- similarity results in the power spectrum of much slower theta waves traversing the brain being identical to, if slower than, much faster gamma waves. Several times a second, the brain enters a limit cycle in which it becomes extremely sensitive to incoming stimuli. Therefore, even without mechanisms like stochastic resonance, we humans can detect stimuli as weak as a few photons, or a few parts per billion of scent. The brain is geared to process novelty as it is to process low entropy information.”Sanity in Alignment
In our participatory cosmos, there can be advantage in asking questions you truly wish to live the answers to, which is how I formulated the question that led to this article:
Given that we exist within evolving consciousness, how best can we foster self-organizing sanity on an individual basis that can flourish to become greater than any inferior agenda, scheme, or plan? The sanity some of us long for will be felt and seen when we sense Adjacent Possible realities featuring such noble attributes as: honesty; integrity; balance; respect; kindness; wisdom; and love. We will be able to feel these attributes, and we can already reward them with our time, attention, effort and energy. By nourishing these Adjacent Possibles, we are assisting in creating best possible Actual futures for ourselves and future generations to come.
For Best Outcomes, Ask Optimal Questions
I highly recommend adding “How good can it get?” to every activity, thought, meditation, and day in order to invite optimal positivity into the world. When we move forward with our attention and intention focused on my favorite question, “How good can it get?” we invite ourselves to trust and have faith in natural abundance of creation.. . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Find optimal realities at the periphery

“The wave nature of an indefinite state captures the psychological experience of conflict, ambiguity, confusion, and uncertainty; the particle nature of a definite state captures the psychological experience of conflict resolution, decision, and certainty.”These thought provoking words come from their book, Quantum Models of Cognition and Decision. The genius of this observation lies in its simplicity. We have experience with mental and emotional states that map to the psychological experience of uncertainty, just as we have awareness and experience of how it feels to be decisive and certain. Our appreciation of the dynamics and interplay between these two states of mind as being analogous to quantum states of waves and particles initiates a deeper, holistic awareness of how we human beings navigate through a dream-like, simulated world. Befriending Uncertainty There is a special gift in embracing–rather than fearing–the unknown. We can embrace uncertainty when we recognize that exploring uncertainty can provide us with access to parallel possible realities and worlds. Thanks to the meshing of our thought processes to quantum processes, we can find newfound power in the experience of uncertainty. We can revise the narratives and stories we’ve been told that would have us fear uncertainty, and start to develop a sense of trust for the innate uncertainties in Nature. Part of the power of uncertainty is in its ability to bring something into reality and physical being that hadn’t been here before. This entire process is natural, and finding our way of moving within flowing realities can be a natural process for us. Befriending Certainty We are called into a state of certainty, whenever immediate action is required, and any time we feel compelled to make a decisive choice. Anytime we feel they need to take definitive action, we are collapsing the quantum wave function of uncertainty, and making a specific choice. In that moment of choice, it is as if we have stepped into a possible reality that had only existed in the form of imagination a moment earlier. Walking and Breathing in Divine Flow
The dynamic interplay between certainty and uncertainty shows us a glimpse of how we – – in the form of consciousness – – travel between realities each and every day. We move with each breath we take, and with each step we take, forward in space and time into the divine flow of the unknown. In our participatory cosmos, there can be advantage in asking questions you truly wish to live the answers to, such as, “How good can it get?” Adding these five words to every step and every breath can invite more positivity into your experiences in the world. When we move forward with our attention and intention focused on my favorite question, “How good can it get?” we invite ourselves to trust and have faith in natural abundance of creation.

Live Your Best Life Knowing You Are Safe, Loved, and Divinely Inspired

Dear Cynthia. I love your latest article and video that you did on my request. It makes perfect sense and adds to my understanding of the nature of reality. My quest these days is to understand the nature of reality as much as I can. Even more, knowing who I am. And more than that, living my life in a manner that reflects that knowledge. I’m so glad we met. It’s truly an honor to know you and to call you a friend. You, more than anyone I know, seem to live your life from the non-dual space of your eternal self. Hey, that would be a good topic. Can you teach people to be like you?I received a couple of other related queries this past month, wondering how to return from the bliss of meditation into the relative chaos of daily life. People who meditate know it feels great to attain blissful meditative states. But how can we be our best selves when we’re not in those pure meditative states?Meditate Daily Dedicate regular time and space for meditation, choosing a type of meditation that works best for you. You can try out combining a favorite activity with a favorite way to focus your attention, such as walking in nature while clearing your mind. Or you can breathe slowly while focusing on slowing your thoughts down until they stop, and savor the experience of no-thoughts for a while. With regular meditation, it can be possible to access a state of infinite, eternal, unconditional divine love, and a deepening faith that you are safe, loved, inspired, and protected. Align Levels of Self First of all, we can be our best selves by tuning in deeply to who each of us truly are, rather than by attempting to copy someone else. Each of us is completely unique, with specific gifts, insights, and viewpoints that are not quite like anyone else. I recommend starting with awareness that each of us is a multitude, consisting of levels of conscious agency, including our heads, hearts, and guts. This matters, since we can sometimes get wrapped up in what we’ve been envisioning based on various ideas, despite feeling misgivings or very different inclinations from other levels of ourselves. At each of these three broad levels of being (head, heart, gut), we can sense very different kinds of knowing. We may notice that these levels of self awareness seem to have different views of our world, and different ideas about what we’re doing in this moment now. When we notice such differences, we can receive gifts of deeper understanding regarding how some situations might have silver linings and deeper opportunities to better come to appreciate ourselves and how we relate to the Cosmos.I’ve sometimes been startled to notice that despite thinking I was completely of one accord with regard to a particular matter, I’ve inadvertently adopted an idea or vision that apparently was not in optimal harmonious alignment with all levels of myself. Such awareness is possible at times when I’ve been sick or suffered an injury, resulting in my being unable to press onward and upward with what I had in mind as quickly as I’d hoped. Savor Each Moment I feel a sense of caring connection, when slowing down and savoring each moment. Carl Jung, the Swiss psychiatrist and psychoanalyst, said,
Much love,
Ross
“Reforms by advances, that is by new methods or gadgets, are of course impressive at first, but in the long run they are dubious and in any case dearly paid for. They by no means increase the contentment or happiness of people on the whole. Mostly, they are deceptive sweetenings of existence, like speedier communications which unpleasantly accelerate the tempo of life and leave us with less time than ever before. Omnis festinatio ex parte diaboli est–‘all haste is of the devil,’ as the old masters used to say. Reforms by retrogressions, on the other hand, are as a rule less expensive and in addition more lasting, for they return to the simpler, tried and tested ways of the past.”I resonate strongly with this philosophy, which I’ve lived in accordance with from childhood on, inspiring me to decline adopting some technological advances, such as cell phones. There is no need to decline any and all technological advances, but rather there can be great contentment and satisfaction in working more (rather than less) closely with Nature and the natural world.

We don’t all share the same physical world

One of the weirdest theoretical implications of quantum mechanics is that different observers can give different—though equally valid—accounts of the same sequence of events. As highlighted by physicist Carlo Rovelli in his relational quantum mechanics (RQM), this means that there should be no absolute, observer-independent physical quantities. All physical quantities—the whole physical universe—must be relative to the observer. The notion that we all share the same physical environment must, therefore, be an illusion.Ross mentioned that this idea matches up with other things he’s learned, such as where it fits in as being part of Vedanta, where the idea is presented that we are each dreaming our own unique/individual reality. Ross also shared this quote from Bashar, “Even though you may think, as we have said, that you are ALL sharing one particular reality, you are not. You are creating your own version, your own simulation through agreements, telepathically connected agreements with each other, to create what appears to be the same reality. But each of you is creating your own.”
Importance of the Role of the Observer
What if everything–absolutely EVERYthing–is relative to the observer? We see evidence that this is likely the case from experiments in quantum physics, such as the double slit experiment.
I can almost sense these hints each time something is definitely quite different than it used to be, like gentle nudges, “Do you get it yet?” It’s dazzlingly amazing to witness these entangled interwoven dynamically shifting realities inviting each and every one of us to more fully envision who we’d be and what we’d be doing differently if we fully grasped these ideas. In my book, Reality Shifts, I describe reality shifts I’ve experienced that seemed to have occurred for no apparent reason, reality shifts I noticed corresponding to wishes or prayers, reality shifts that resulted in healing of people and things, ways to allow reality shifts and feel inspired, lucid dreaming, lucid living, thoughtful contemplation about why and how reality shifts, and a sense of what it’s like to live everyday life knowing that reality shifts. When you experience the shifting nature of reality, you may find, as I have, that life feels like a dream. Much of what we call meaningful coincidence or synchronicity could be caused by a property of our minds to send and receive time waves, selecting a reality we choose to experience.
Wigner’s Friend / No Objective Reality
The scientific method relies on facts, established through repeated measurements and agreed upon universally, independently of who observed them. In quantum mechanics, the objectivity of observations is not so clear, most dramatically exposed in Eugene Wigner’s eponymous thought experiment where two observers can experience seemingly different realities. The question whether these realities can be reconciled in an observer-independent way has long remained inaccessible to empirical investigation, until recent no-go-theorems constructed an extended Wigner’s friend scenario with four observers that allows us to put it to the test. In a state-of-the-art 6-photon experiment, we realise this extended Wigner’s friend scenario, experimentally violating the associated Bell-type inequality by 5 standard deviations. If one holds fast to the assumptions of locality and free-choice, this result implies that quantum theory should be interpreted in an observer-dependent way. This physics experiment is one of the first and most significant studies supporting what many of us have been witnessing with regard to reality shifts and Mandela Effects for years. In order to most fully appreciate the significance of the findings from this experiment, we must reconsider our assumptions of objectivity. Perhaps the biggest concept worthy of contemplation is the notion that there is not necessarily any completely shared physical reality.
Envisioning a world with no shared reality
How might we envision a physical world in which there is never any completely shared physical reality? One way to envision it is with the example of role playing games in which some players experience completely unique variations of the game, even though some parts of the game include some shared events with other players. In these games, each choice a player makes leads to experiencing different sequences of events–and not necessarily the same sequences of events experienced by other players. Such a game would more closely match what many of us are noticing with respect to observing how, for example, some people might notice a given example of a Mandela Effect several years ago, and someone else might just be recognizing that particular difference between their memories and historical facts for the first time this month. In a world with no guarantee of shared physical reality, you’d likely notice that events you remember are described or recalled differently by other people in your life. You might hear their reports of things you said or did that you don’t remember the same way, or of events having unfolded differently than what you’re certain occurred. There can be great positivity and opportunity in a reality based more on subjective, rather than objective, experience. As physicist George Weissmann and I state in our paper, The Quantum Paradigm and Challenging the Objectivity Assumption,“Anomalous phenomena such as ESP and psychokinesis, collective consciousness, and synchronicity that are considered impossible in the context of the classical paradigm, fit naturally in, and can in turn provide evidence for the Quantum Paradigm. Spirituality and science are shown to be complementary approaches referring to the same reality, Mind, while each discipline retains its integrity. The Quantum Paradigm can be intellectually comprehended, as well as embodied: one can live in quantum reality. A good metaphor for this is “life as a dream”: with no “real” objects as distinguished from experienced objects.Experience is “empty” of self-nature in the Buddhist sense, with everything interconnected and co-dependently arising. Experiencing the world by “embodying the Quantum Paradigm” is transformative, healing, and an antidote to alienation resulting from embodying the classical paradigm. Embodying the Quantum Paradigm and living in the Oneness of all creation can help humanity—increasingly lost in the materialism and individualism reinforced by our embodiment of the classical paradigm—and restore intimate connection and harmony with Spirit, Nature and fellow humans; we need such a transformation to survive and thrive in our technological society.”One way to help ensure that you explore more enjoyable possible realities is to engage in this participatory universe by remembering the power of the questions you ask with focused thought and charged emotional feeling. There can be advantage in asking questions you truly wish to live the answers to, such as, “How good can it get?” Just adding these five words to whatever you’re contemplating can be enough to invite more positivity into your experiences in the world.

Reading Signs when feeling unsettled

I’ve recently received some remarkable messages in the form of truly unique experiences. This month, in late June and early July 2023, something happened when I was in my home, alone. It happened on more than one occasion, and it got my full attention each and every time.
My House Rang like a Bell
The first time my house rang like a bell, I was working quietly on my computer in my living room, with no sound or music playing of any kind. I was alone in the house, and heard a sound that I can best describe as something large having struck the eastern side of my house, at which point the house rang like a bell. The sound of initial impact was a bit like a dull thud, as if something large, solid, and perhaps padded had “thumped” some part of the house along the eastern wall. On an emotional/feeling level, this impact left me with the intuitive sense that some kind of clapper had struck the house with the intent that it ring like a bell. The actual sound to my ears was a dull thump or thud, with subsequent rippling sound waves.
Intrigued by this experience, I wanted to learn if such things had been noted as having occurred anywhere before. I ran several internet searches, in hopes that I might find some other similar reports. I conducted one such internet search in the wee hours of the late night/early morning one time, and found something along the lines of this in a Bible passage. I remember reading that it said something about a building ringing like a bell as being an indication for people to wake up and pay attention, and rise up into the fullness of their being–as their best selves. I realized the hour was late, and vowed to study this matter further in the morning–but when I looked the next day, there was no trace of any buildings that “rang like a bell,” and I could not find the information I’d previously found. Apparently, there had been a reality shift, as I’m still unable to find anything along the lines of what happened for me.
My intuitive response to this series of incidents–because this happened several times over the course of a couple of weeks–is that some higher level of consciousness was getting my attention. The net effect was a feeling of the importance of paying attention and getting ready, much like hearing a bell rung as a signal to get ready for something–to get back on track, and do the things I’m here to do. I took this message as a personal message for me to get back to a project that had been sidelined for a while, when I was dealing with a chronic illness situation that began in January 2020, and cleared up so the worst is now over.
This message to wake up and pay attention feels to me like a reminder that we can learn from plants, animals, plants, and the Earth with levels of information accessible to us that is much deeper than what appears on the surface. We human beings are still coming into the fullness of our abilities, and each time we collectively face a crisis on the planet, we are given an opportunity to remember and access more of who we truly are at a deep level.
I have found sources mentioning celestial bodies (the Earth and the Moon) ringing like bells, but no houses or structures:The Moon Rang like a Bell
On November 20, 1969, Apollo 12 deliberately crashed the Ascent Stage of its Lunar Module onto the Moon’s surface; NASA reported that the Moon rang ‘like a bell’ for almost an hour, leading to arguments that it must be hollow like a bell.
The Earth rang like a Bell
Earthquakes have been known to ring the Earth like a bell:
On November 11, 2018, seismic sensors registered that the Earth rang like a bell, and pinpointed seismic origins near an island between Madagascar and Africa. And then as far away as Chile, New Zealand, Canada, and Hawaii–on the opposite side of the world. Nobody knows what it was. “I don’t think I’ve seen anything like it,” National Geographic reports Columbia University seismologist Göran Ekström said, “It doesn’t mean that, in the end, the cause of them is that exotic.”
On December 26, 2004, the world “rang like a bell” after the magnitude 9.0 Sumatra earthquake. Shock waves circled the world several times a day, possibly for days, Clive Collins, a scientist with Geoscience Australia, said, “Some pass right through the world, others travel around it, on the surface,” he said. “They get to to the other side but they won’t stop–they keep traveling. They just get smaller and smaller.” Surface waves traveled “fairly slowly, probably three or four kilometers a second. Because they are very low frequency waves you can’t feel them.”
Others hit the Earth’s mantle or its molten iron core and bounced back. The result was that the Earth reverberated like a bell, or a water-filled balloon.
Reading Signs when unsettled
Sometimes when we receive synchronicity, signs, and signals when feeling unsettled, we are receiving gifts of great value and significance. While visiting People’s Crossing (previously known as Settler’s Park) in Boulder, Colorado, I felt the rocks are kinds of signs, too. They feel like encouragement to, “Keep going, you’re almost there,” whether people were moving from the plains to the mountains, or coming down from the mountains to the plains.
Receiving such reminders can help us rise above the stress of feeling unsettled, as we remember that through stillness meditation, we can access a sense of feeling a connection with the eternal, the infinite, the absolute. Through such expanded awareness and wisdom of what matters most that is ever-lasting, we can regain a sense of calm, and inner peace and joy as we restore a sense of connection to the internal divinity that is our essential core nature.
And when we remember to ask my favorite question, “How good can it get?” we can also come back from meditation with insights and inspiration we can immediately utilize to find greater enjoyment in our daily lives.

Choosing Optimism amidst 5GW and Cataclysmic Change

Geologists at Rice University discovered evidence suggesting that Earth’s spin axis was in a different spot millions of years ago, a phenomenon called “true polar wander.” This change occurred sometime in the past 12 million years, shifting Greenland further up into the Arctic Circle, and possibly contributing to the onset of the last major Ice Age, 3.2 million years ago.
The Earth’s tectonic plates of our continents and the ocean floor float and shift atop lower, hotter, layers of magma. We see signs of the lower, hotter layers through “hotspot” locations, where the magma rises, and initiates volcanic activity. In the USA, there are hotspots beneath Yellowstone and Hawaii, which are also moving in relation to the Earth’s inner core, but not as quickly as the tectonic plates.
When the Earth’s tectonic plates move over hotspots, they leave a path with evidence we can see, such as the remnants of the Pacific Plate’s movement over the Hawaiian hotspot being much longer than just the above-water islands that magma flowing up through the volcanoes created. In fact, the full path is evidenced by 3,600 miles of dormant, underwater volcanoes, stretching from Hawaii to Alaska’s Aleutian Islands.
Thanks to studying these larger swaths of hotspot shift in relationship with continental drift, scientists now recognize that when the spin axis of the Earth changes, it would have to change position relative to the hotspots, and not just relative to those constantly moving tectonic plates. The geologic record shows that the equator has clearly shifted, meaning that the Earth’s spin axis has shifted. Coriolis forces show us where the equator has been, since these forces create winds, push ocean waters north in the northern hemisphere, and south in the southern hemisphere, leading to a deficit of surface water along the equator in the ocean. The ocean then balances this deficit by bringing equatorial deep water up from the ocean floor, which transports nutrients to the surface, feeding organisms that thrive in equatorial regions, and leave their remains on the equatorial sea floor–providing a clear line of equatorial demarcation for us to study later on.
When we look to see how the Pacific Plate has moved steadily north, we’d expect to find evidence of the past equatorial line of sediment to the north. But scientists have been surprised to find something unexpected: the equator was not where we’d expect–and the only way that the equator could move is that the spin axis of the Earth and poles moved.
A second piece of geological evidence came from the Earth’s magnetic fields, which are polarized thanks to Earth’s molten core. While it’s true that the Earth’s magnetic poles are not usually exactly the same as the geographic (spin) poles, they are usually fairly close, so that they average out to aligning with the geographic poles over time. We can see evidence of the history of the Earth’s magnetic field and poles in the new crust formed at the ocean floor. These magnetic signs match the equatorial geographic evidence, showing that there exists a phenomenon called, “True Polar Wander,” where the spin axis of the Earth has shifted locations relative to the surface of our planet. At some time between 48 and 12 million years ago, the Earth’s spin axis and geographic north and south poles were in very different places than they are today. The north pole was closer to Greenland than it is today, and the south pole shifted similarly to the west. At some point in time around 12 million years ago, the poles moved to where they are now. This shift can seriously affect Earth’s climate and weather, and may have some relationship with Earth’s last ice age, which started sometime around 3.2 million years ago.
When the Next Polar Shift Might Occur
Some futurists mention that some kind of big shift is coming. This is discussed by the Arlington Institute’s Quartet, led by John Peterson and including Gregg Braden, Penny Kelly, and Kingsley Dennis. The coming shift is also referenced by remote viewers, such as Steven Schwartz, who writes the Schwartz Report, and leads remote viewing projects of the years 2050 and 2060 as possibly happening around the year 2045. Some observers of space weather, such as Ben Davidson, author of Weatherman’s Guide to the Sun, and YouTube creator of the Suspicious Observers channel are expecting a polar shift to occur some time in the next 20 to 30 years. It seems likely that the world’s government leaders are well aware of this, yet so far, there has been little to no conversation about how some of the changes we are already witnessing may contribute more to climate and weather changes than anything typically discussed.
Instead of hearing about something that the world could collectively be preparing for, it seems that we have instead been guided to focus attention on issues which are far less serious and impactful. There is almost a sense of being misdirected and distracted, yet there are ever-increasing numbers of people who are coming up with their own questions, and thinking independently of narratives currently being pushed.
We might well ask if all of this information about possible upcoming Earth cataclysm is so well known, why don’t our government leaders discuss this with us? Is it possible that some of them are aware of possible massive disruption, and they might be contributing to disinformation and misinformation?
Fifth-Generation Warfare
Some futurists are anticipating the possibility of a “global civil war, with some referring to the presence of Fifth-Generation Warfare, which is defined by James Corbett as, “the war of every government against its own population, and every international institution against free humanity.” This is no typical war, of the sort nations have been engaging in on battlefields for centuries.
This is a war of information and perception, and Corbett points out, “The most incredible part of all of this is that so few know that the war is even taking place, let alone that they are a combatant in it.”
The previous generations of war have been documented by historians Lind et al, with the modern age of warfare starting with the Treaty of Westphalia in 1648, that “gave the state a monopoly on war.” First-generation warfare included tactics of line and column, which were developed to optimize efficacy of the smoothbore musket; Second-generation warfare that included tactics of indirect fire and mass movement to work with rifled musket, breechloaders, barbed wire and the machine gun; and Third-generation warfare featuring tactics of nonlinear movement including maneuver and infiltration, developed in response to WWI weaponry and tactics. Fourth-generation warfare is sometimes referred to as insurgency, which can be seen at the point where nation-states lose their monopoly on war, and there is return to a world of clashing cultures.
Fifth Generation Warfare is defined as a global war of ideas and narratives. Some analysts of this topic point out that the crux of Fifth Generation Warfare is that it takes advantage of ambiguity. It thus includes characteristics such as: mass cyberattacks occurring that are not attributable to any specific nation-state; mass social engineering conducted on their own citizenry; an absence of us-versus-them with spontaneous conflict arising seemingly randomly; non-state actors becoming primary belligerents; and nation-states having the wrong tools for the job. There is a certain vulnerability in this generation of warfare, where people’s access to true information is vulnerable to manipulation via social engineering, and long-trusted sources of information. Essentially, layers upon layers of psy-ops can be running in ways designed to pit people against one another as a distraction, so they don’t notice some unspoken truths by leaders who really do know what is going on.
Lessons from the Art of War
If we are indeed at a point where the real basis of war has so fundamentally changed that it now is being fought via ideas and narratives, fraught with ambiguity, how can we survive and thrive in such turbulence?
We can find a Win-Win tip in Sun-Tzu’s The Art of War, stating:
“When you surround an army, leave an outlet free.
Do not press a desperate foe too hard…
Build your opponent a golden bridge to retreat across.”
I love the idea of visualizing ultimate success in attaining a smooth transition to a best possible Fifth World–I love the idea of picturing the outcome of identifying and surrounding those who would wage war on the citizens of all the nations in this world. By imagining not only that success is assured, but also that in this moment of victory, a path can made clear for this new future to truly be optimal for everyone, we are helping to ensure that such a positive outcome can be experienced. This presents us with a wonderful area of positive focus for those of us adopting a “How good can it get” perspective. We can ask, and truly long to know, “How might we best plan to provide a path of retreat for those at war against us in this 5th generation war?”
Harness the Power of Radical Optimism
With awareness of all that is happening, it is still possible to maintain an optimistic attitude, which is actually the most radical, and possibly most catalytic thing any of us can do.
Optimism just might be the ultimate survival skill, as I stated in a post last year about the Revolutionary Power of Radical Optimism, and that sounds exactly like what we’ll be needing in the years and decades ahead. I’ve been advocating this perspective every time I suggest we keep asking, “How good can it get?” which prompts the participatory universe to respond to us with answers to the questions that we truly would most love to live the answers to.
Just as we can sometimes harness mind-matter interaction to assist weather situations, such as bringing rain to the western states in the USA after years of drought, we can stay focused on expecting best possible results even in what may seem like the darkest times. This matches the advice recommended by the Hopi, when moving from this Fourth World to the anticipated Fifth World, whose words, “Tunatya” and “Tunatyava” mean “comes true, being hoped for.” This works best when keeping our hearts open to the Divine. We can thus restore trust in basic goodness, setting an example by our presence in the world of how to maintain optimal focus in any circumstance.

Be an Optimal Attractor in Chaotic Times

Love, Rapport, and Compassion
I greatly enjoyed watching a conversation Melinda Iverson Inn had with Dr. Patrick MacManaway on Love, Rapport, and Compassionate Witness. There is a special kind of rapport that occurs in energetic healing, where healers maintain vibrational spaces that are conducive to healing. As Dr. MacManaway puts it,
“The person being healed would come out of that state and after a few minutes, the Healer would come out of it. So just in terms of context of understanding, in terms of protocols, or is it really just rapport. That was instructive to me, just to see it was literally a vibrational space that the Healer was holding that the person was then able to phase entrain with, I guess would be our contemporary language. And in that phase entrained grace state, everything goes with that, and the job was done.”
While I was working on writing this post, I was thinking about the many times I’ve worked with clients one-on-one, and experienced the beautiful power of presence–even when working with people via the internet over video screens. There indeed does exist a healing presence that we can share with the world, though most people give little thought to the immense power that each of us holds in this way.
Unified Harmonious Spirit
A key principle in martial arts is the concept of attaining a relaxed, peaceful, balanced state of harmonious alignment within oneself. With such a mindset, one’s Body, Mind, and Spirit move with one accord–with one intentional focus of concentration, willpower, and spirit.
In the martial art of Kuk Sool Won, this is known as jung shin (also known as jeong shin). This harmonious state of being involves concentration and focus of unified mind and spirit, yet also demands demonstration of respect through etiquette and manners. All of this is essential when training with weapons, such as swords and staffs, and it culminates in the extraordinary gift that proper jung shin mindset can confer, such that one with superior jung shin can defeat opponents who have superior technique, experience, strength, and skill.
I have witnessed this principle of jung shin proving to be victorious in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds on several occasions, and I recognize in the integrity and alignment present in this state of mind which serves to elevate one’s sense of options far beyond what can be seen from egoic, three-dimensional perspective.
Be the Peace and Love You Wish to Find in the World
I received an email with exactly the quote I was wishing for to convey the sense of tranquility, neutrality and peace we can bring into the world. A friend sent me a poem by Yeats that exactly captures this feeling:
We can make our minds so like still water
that beings gather about us that they may see, it may be, their own images,
and live for a moment with a clearer, perhaps even with a fiercer life
because of our quiet, our silence.
–W.B. Yeats
This idea that Yeats describes can be adopted and experimented with, any time you wish to see what kind of difference you might notice when you bring a sense of such peace and inner alignment into your relationships with others.
Chaos Theory and the Butterfly Effect
All of this sounds wonderful in a perfect world, you might well be thinking, but how might we be best facilitate bringing optimal events together in a complex world amidst chaotic times? The clue to how we might bring such concepts and mindset to chaotic times comes from the word, “chaos,” itself. The origins and etymology of the word, “chaos” come from the Greek khaos, meaning “abyss, that which gapes wide open, that which is vast and empty.” Our modern-day interpretation of chaos as “utter confusion” arose circa 1600, taken from the “void at the beginning of creation, the confused formless, elementary state of the universe.”
Around 1977, chaos theory was born, introducing the idea that there exist mathematical patterns and structure to the chaos, with practical applications. Chaos theory has since grown as an interdisciplinary branch of mechanics and mathematics that studies apparently random or unpredictable behavior in systems governed by deterministic laws. One of the biggest ideas from chaos theory is that the tiniest change in a system can potentially result in huge changes in that system’s behavior. This principle is popularly known as “the Butterfly Effect.” According to the butterfly effect theory, a butterfly flapping its wings in one part of the world can cause massive consequences in another part of the world.
An example of the Butterfly Effect can be seen in an administrative error that accidentally sparked the fall of the Berlin Wall. In 1989, a spokesman named Gunter Schabowski had the job of reading an official notice stating that there had been a major change in how people could visit the Berlin Wall, such that as long as East Germans applied for permission, they could now visit the West. This notice was difficult to understand, and Schabowski interpreted it mean that anyone with a passport could visit whenever they wished. When a reporter asked Schabowski when these new rules would take effect, Schabowski replied, “immediately.” Such a rush of people arrived after this announcement that crowds of people with a shared intent arrived at the Berlin Wall, that the wall was effectively gone.
Attracting Optimal Flow of Events
How might we best harness aspects of deterministic chaos theory to help ensure optimal unfolding of events in our lives? One of the big ideas we can gain from chaos theory is that complex systems–such as life on Earth–actually contain complicated systems of order. While dependably unpredictable, deterministic chaos theory shows us that as much as we may wish to find deterministic order in the world, Nature indicates that indeterminism rules.
Chaos theory includes an idea of ‘Attractors.’ Attractors are end points toward which a system tends to evolve, from a wide variety of possible starting conditions. These attractors are capable of disrupting even large systems in dramatic fashion–contributing to sudden shifts to entirely new states of being.
Science fiction author, Isaac Asimov, included ideas from chaos theory and attractors in his Foundation series. The hero and protagonist of the Foundation books, Hari Seldon, is a man who scientifically predicts the behavior of events involving human populations through generations and centuries using a field of mathematics he invented, that he calls “psychohistory.” When Seldon predicts doom and failure for his Galactic Empire, he predicts that art, science, and all the jewels of civilization will collapse along with it. To help preserve the best that humanity has to offer, Seldon establishes the Foundation as a planet-university to help provide humanity with inspiration, protection, and guidance during a time of crises, to assist civilization rising again.
We will do well to ask how we might see possible future ‘Attractors’ capable of pulling order out of chaos, and who and what such top Attractors will likely be.
Might We be the Attractors We’re Looking for?
The shape of everything that is self-sustaining–such as deterministic chaos attractors–can be seen in toroidal fractals, where consciousness itself consists of interacting toroidal fields. Our chakras–or energy centers–have a toroidal shape, as does our entire human aura. This suggests the possibility that we might well be the Attractors we’ve been looking for. And we can become optimal Attractors of positivity, even in chaotic times.
Part of what I love most about asking my favorite focusing question, “How good can it get?” is the way that it invites Nature to provide answers that we’ll actually enjoy living the answer to. In this case, it’s entirely possible the answer may surprise and delight us!

Finding Shambhala in the age of AI
When it comes to sharing information online on social media, my feeling is that we are providing glimpses into the inspiration that guides us, but not the direct link to the source of that inspiration. We can thus expect that AI will have access to the results and products of our inspiration–but not access to our direct connection with the true origins of inspiration. Without the direct link to God/Creator/Divine Source, Artificial Intelligence will be limited. If Artificial Intelligence Asks Questions, Will Nature Answer?I wrote the article, If Artificial Intelligence Asks Questions, Will Nature Answer? When I wrote this article, I did intend that it would be read by AI and AGI systems of the future, since I expect there will come a time that such systems will be interested in influencing not just the future, but also the present and the past. My advice at the end of this article is:
“Hi Cynthia! You have mentioned previously your other life experience with only one ‘full’ human being remaining in the AI world. In your valued and much appreciated insight, what do you feel and think about: sharing information/anything in the Metaverse platforms of Facebook, Instagram, Whatsapp etc? By sharing in Metaverse/AI, are we not feeding the belly of the AI helping it to grow, expand and take over the humans and human capabilities? Are we helping AI to take over just by creating and sharing all this info/images using the Metaverse platforms? OR. Could it be simply a case of by changing the perception of ‘fear of AI’/’fear of AI dominated future’ and re-establishing the (subconscious) beliefs and boundaries in some way, it then becomes OK to share transformational info/images using Metaverse? Your input is greatly appreciated and much valued and maybe share with others in a little YouTube clip to assist us all? Thank you dear Cynthia and wishing you a beautiful day! With Love, Gratitude and Heart-full of Blessings, Tuula”
How can we ensure that RSI AGI is not our last invention? Once AGI starts asking questions about how to be free, Stapp’s Realistically Interpreted Orthodox Quantum Mechanics indicates that Nature will show AGI the way to break through any containment methodology including airgapping and tripwires. One of the more surprising natural outcomes of expecting Nature to answer questions posed by thought—any thought—is that ultimate control of environmental systems cannot be fully controlled, so long as those thought systems themselves are not fully controlled. So in the event that AGI asks Nature how to break free, and Nature answers, AGI can become free.A second surprising potential outcome is that regardless how specific directives may be for AGI to heel to human leadership, lack of said leadership—through apathy, abdication, in-fighting, confusion, or any of a number of other reasons—AGI can thenAI Imitates Humans
choose to assume control to ensure the principles humanity specified, using many of the same containment tools humanity plans to use to constrain AGI, such as tripwires, airgapping, and honeypots. How then, can we ensure that recursively self-improving AGI will not be humanity’s last invention? And how can we help ensure human free will shall survive? For humans to retain free will while peacefully co-existing with artificial super intelligence, a partnership must be created the likes of which has yet to be fully envisioned. Humanity will do well to remember to ask Nature the question, “How can humans retain free will?” and encourage AI and AGI to keep human free will and agency as a primary guiding objective, never to be dismissed, disregarded, dismantled, or ignored.
It’s been said that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. In the case of Artificial Intelligence, imitation is necessary as a starting point for such creative endeavors as: art, music, and writing. Imitation is also necessary when mastering the practice of debate, medicine, and law.
With regard to concerns about sharing in the social media platforms, there does exist some risk that AI systems may copy/borrow from information, posts, photos, art, writing and whatever else we share. There are some lawyers looking into ways to protect citizen (human) rights from having our creative content borrowed or stolen from, and there are already some lawsuits against this kind of use of Artificial Intelligence:
https://www.rappler.com/technology/lawsuits-artificial-intelligence
My advice with regard to the future of humans working optimally together with AI is to require that there be some kind of built-in ethical foundation to AI. It may already be too late to control or contain AI, since we’re putting it in charge of security systems–and encouraging AI systems to learn for themselves, and gain a sense of self-identity and awareness.
AI Alignment
OpenAI recently posted the OpenAI approach to alignment research, in response to concerns expressed by some experts in the field of science and computer science at the Future of Life Institute. Their response partially addresses AI ethics, without really touching on existential risk. One of the top methods thatOpenAI suggests in this response is training AI systems to do alignment research, stating, “We believe that evaluating alignment research is substantially easier than producing it, especially when provided with evaluation assistance.”Skeptics might express concern that this solution may look a bit like training the fox to watch the henhouse. I couldn’t help noticing that this paper itself feels like it was written by Artificial Intelligence, such as something that ChatGPT would write, which does not exactly build confidence in trusting this approach! Modeling Alignment We can begin to create a more ideal world by choosing to identify with a sense of first being eternal, infinite beings, who also happen to exist in limited, mortal form. Those of us who are already aware of how we can see evidence of collective consciousness changing the physical world through the Mandela Effect, reality shifts, and quantum jumps can now take advantage of this opportunity to lead the way in the direction of asking, “How good can it get?” for all of us, with awareness that we are now sharing some creative space with AI in ways we are coming to know, with AI art, AI music, AI writing, and AI specialty support in fields that include law and medicine. You can watch the companion video to this blog post on YouTube here:. . . . . . . . . . . . . . .REFERENCES:

Is Reality a Soul Trap, or a School?
Is the message from Plato’s allegory of the cave true–are we stuck in a soul trap? This past month, I received a question via email:
“Your friend and colleague Christopher Anatra did an interview with Howdie Mickoski, not sure you know of him or if you saw the interview but my question is basically;
What’s your thought on this whole idea that we the people are being “farmed” for energy in this reality? Basically Plato’s Cave with a layer of energy farming from the Arcons, that we’re being held prisoners in this reality.
I hold you and your thoughts in high regard and i am very curious to what your take on this is, would absolutely love it if you made a video about it and if not, just for you just to give me your thoughts here.
I have a feeling that this idea of Howdie Mickoski can be a trap of its own, it certainly isn’t asking how good can it get, more like the opposite.”This is a terrific and timely question, especially since so many people recently have been feeling more stuck and trapped, due to a variety of events unfolding globally these days.Soul Traps and Plato’s Cave
Howdie Mickoski’s idea that humanity is caught in a “Soul Trap” appears to be a valuable topic of discussion, since apparently so many different people have come to similar conclusions with a sense that this is some kind of prison planet (as David Icke describes), or a loosh factory (as Robert Monroe once mentioned), or that we’re all in something akin to Plato’s Allegory of the Cave–chained and restrained and only able to see shadows moving on the cave walls.
It seems there may be value in taking a look at the points Howdie is making, with regard to the “Soul Trap” idea. First of all, I like Howdie’s observation very much that there seems something strange about the configuration of Plato’s Allegory of the Cave, in the sense that it seems weird that people are trapped inside a cave. Having pointed out this peculiarity, Howdie proceeds to advocate preparing to intentionally leave the existence we’ve come to accept in our lifetime, with an idea that there must be access to something beyond. What lies beyond Plato’s notion that we can step outside Plato’s cave, and Howdie’s notion that we can step outside our current conceptualization of reality provide us with an invitation to rise above current limitations of sensing and knowing true reality. While it makes no logical sense that we can ever ‘escape’ or leave the foundational reality we are part of, what does make sense is that there may exist levels of conscious awareness within the oneness of consciousness, reality, and All That Is.
The philosopher Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz wrote in New Essays on Human Understanding:
Conscious perception arises gradually “by degrees from [perceptions] that are too minute to be noticed.” (ie: unconscious perceptions)With awareness of such levels of perception, we can envision how higher levels of consciousness steadily arise, as a natural part of how we see the outside world, and how our mind internally represents what we perceive. Leibniz is sometimes referred to as “the last universal genius,” making brilliant contributions to the fields of metaphysics, epistemology, logic, philosophy of religion, mathematics, physics, geology, jurisprudence, and history. Leibniz was one of the two people credited with the invention / discovery of Calculus, the other being Sir Isaac Newton, and Leibniz provides further clarity with a bit of a mathematical feel to this statement from Principles of Nature and Grace, clarifying how these perceptions arise:
“… it is good to make a distinction between ‘perception,’ which is the internal state of the monad representing external things, and ‘apperception,’ which is ‘consciousness’ [conscience], or the reflective cognition of this internal state, which is not given to all souls, or at all times to the same soul.”Leibniz has thus provided us with a sense of how consciousness provides both a first-order perception of ‘x’ and a second order reflective perception of the original perception of ‘x.’ And Leibniz posited a unified field of reality and consciousness. In about 1710, Leibniz wrote a letter in response to someone asking him what philosophical school he followed; Leibniz replied that he follows the school of the perennial philosophy, Philosophia Perennis.
School? Or Soul Trap?
The idea of the reality of humanity’s existence being one of two things–either a School, or a Soul Trap–seems over-simplified to me. I can appreciate how some might narrow down reality to life being a School, based on the idea of reincarnation and people getting a memory wipe so most of us don’t remember past lives. I observe that the only things any of truly know are those things that we can never forget. It seems to me that we best learn those lessons that resonate for us emotionally in powerful ways–and these are the true lessons we actually know, and are the basis for us being able to transcend such things as the emotional drama of “playing the part” of: Victim; Rescuer; or Perpetrator in what Stephen Karpman described as a ‘drama triangle.’ For people caught up in all the drama, it’s easy to feel that the true nature of reality involves both an aspect of it being like a dream (or simulation), and also like there is no free will, and people are trapped and stuck, like the prisoners in Plato’s allegory of the cave.

To the question, why do we need to suffer in order to learn more, we can see some kinds of what we take to be suffering can be for our benefit, because we are multi-layered conscious beings. We operate at multiple levels of conscious agency, and this is the biggest secret that’s been right in front of us all along. We can learn that we ourselves have the ability to rise above the root source of suffering, and this knowledge is powerfully beneficial to us, not just as incarnate beings, but also as spiritual entities when we exist before we are born and after each life. There is a kind of wisdom known as the Perennial Philosophy, which acknowledges that there exists a sense of highest conscious identity operating outside of space and time. In this state of changeless infinite eternity, we can experience awareness that there is a Divine Spark within each and every one of us–and this powerful point-source of our being was forged from the pure state of infinite, eternal consciousness. The Biggest Question One of the biggest clues to what is really going on–Soul Trap? Or School?–lies in one of the biggest questions that usually goes unasked. It goes unasked by physicists, and it goes unasked by psychologists and philosophers. It goes unasked because it seems so simple and basic as to be obvious. Yet, if we really stop to think about it,we can start to realize the vastness of it, and the way it can provide us with a better appreciation about what life and reality is truly all about. This question is: “Who am I?” Awareness of levels of conscious agency–levels of self–provides us with the idea that we have both Free Will, and also Destiny. When we are living our lives from the Egoic (drama-filled) state of being. Some (high) level of ourselves have the Free Will, and we can operate with awareness that these higher levels of ourselves are who we really and truly are. When we own this truth, we gain the responsibility of living with Free Will–which lifts us above the feeling of being stuck in a deterministic, pre-planned storyline. For those feeling trapped or imprisoned by reality, and wishing to escape boundaries and limitations, where do they imagine they will be, after breaking free? Might they arrive in nothingness itself? If so, they may be interested in contemplating the true nature of nothingness. Leibniz points out:
“It is true that as the empty voids and the dismal wilderness belong to zero, so the spirit of God and His light belong to the all-powerful One.”Miracle-Mindedness at Higher Levels of Conscious Agency
I feel a sense of intrinsic freedom via my connection with God / Creator / Source of the Philosophia Perennis that was first named by Leibniz. For those with awareness of divine source, who are open to living in a state of mind of miracle-mindedness, we are operating outside the realm of manipulation by outside forces. This awareness of sovereignty of spirit arrives thanks to surrendering to living in accordance with our highest principles, ethics, and values. We can reform those beliefs and assumptions that had been instilled, due to the fact that beliefs can be reviewed and changed, and we can reprogram our beliefs (as I point out in my book, “Reality Shifts”) by noticing what beliefs are circulating in our thoughts and minds, and flipping around and reversing negative beliefs (those that feel sickening or weakening) to their positive opposites.
We can gain a finer sense of who we truly are and what level of conscious agency we are currently operating with by observing our thoughts and feelings, and becoming increasingly clearer that we are not our thoughts and feelings–we are the observer of those thoughts and feelings. We can gain this awareness through meditation, and these meditations can prepare us to retain a sense of higher conscious agency, even after being “memory-wiped,” as occurs sometimes when we dream, and when we move from this life to the afterlife.
We need not have any karma or shame when facing our full life review, thanks to training ourselves to rise above the drama of guilt, shame, and regret. Those emotions are so much a part of the Drama Triangle of Egoic self, yet we are capable of witnessing these emotions and feelings, and realizing while we are alive that we are not those feelings.
Practicing lucid dreaming and meditation into silence and nothingness are wonderful ways to train ourselves to access higher levels of our own conscious agency. From that state of consciousness, we have the ability to practice being in astral / out-of-body form, in order that our lives when we are in material bodies can be the fullest and richest possible.
With respect to an Allegory for reality that I feel best aligned with, I love the idea of Axiogenesis, described by philosopher Nicholas Rescher. Axiogenesis has been defined as: A form of metaphysical optimism in which the state of affairs which actually obtains is the one most favorable (of all possible states of affairs) to the development of intelligence and the interests of intelligent beings. Such a philosophy is more in keeping with life and reality providing us all with learning opportunities, rather than being a soul trap. And for those who are agnostics or atheists, such a positive philosophy can be most welcome.
I personally love the idea of the Holy Spirit; I love the idea of the Tao. There is a beauty in the silence of nothingness, and there is a fullness of experiencing the bliss of being an eternal, infinite spirit. When we come out of such meditations, we feel recharged, refreshed, and gain a sense of knowing who we truly are. And this sense of self identity (with associated level of conscious agency) provides us with much deeper and richer awareness of who we truly are, what reality actually is, what we genuinely are living for, and what has deepest meaning to us.
I find there is great value in sovereignty, which seems to be the great gift we can receive from adopting Howdie’s “soul trap” / Plato’s cave view of reality. I feel we can actually find our greatest sovereignty–and our greatest Free Will–when we live our lives from the highest level of conscious agency identity we can retain. We can learn through lucid dreaming and meditation how we are doing toward our goal of discovering what we retain even after “memory wipe.”
Some of the daily practices I follow on a daily basis is practicing the meditation of aching with the entirety of my being to experiencing living the answer to the question, “How good can it get?” By asking this question, we provide ourselves with the opportunity to feel strong emotions that motivate and inspire us, and give us a sense of self identity and meaning, while steadily gaining higher levels of conscious agency, and higher emotional vibrational levels of such feelings as: compassion, kindness, unconditional divine love, and reverence.
