Sometimes You Need that One Perfect Day…

Puppy H_resizedOne of the things I love about animals is that they are so good at living in the moment. That can be a problem if you have a dog with separation anxiety, (because for him, your leaving can be a terrible catastrophe that will never be resolved in his lifetime :-) ) but for the most part, it’s a great and wonderful gift.

It’s something I’m not very good at myself. I’m either mired in the mistakes of my past, which I am unable to change, or wasting my now by fretting over the future. No matter how...

Shower them with love–that includes you too…

You know how it is when you get exposed to a bunch of new ideas or different ways of looking at things, and they jumble around in your brain percolating madly until you reach an epiphany of sorts? Yeah, that happened to me recently. I’m not always the fastest learner when it comes to self-realization, despite the fact most friends would describe me as empathetic and perceptive. It took a culmination of events for the switch to flip. I’ve written about this subject time and again, and every ti...

The Boys of Summer Book Tour and Giveaway!

BoysofSummer[The]FSI don’t know about you this morning, but I really wasn’t looking forward to going back to work. You know how it is, the harness chafes a bit once you’ve had a chance to take it off. I forced myself out of my warm bed today, grumbling bitterly about the cold, dragging myself into the kitchen to start a pot of tea, when I noticed that I didn’t receive a calendar alert about my schedule this morning. That’s when I checked and discovered I’d made a mistake and I didn’t have to work at ALL.

Hush!...

It’s here! The re-release of The Boys of Summer!

BoysofSummer[The]FSI’m very pleased to announce that the award-winning M/M romance, The Boys of Summer, is now available!

This story, without a doubt a personal favorite of mine, also has the deepest emotional meaning for me. It’s the best story I’ve ever written, and yet it is also the one that probably the fewest people have heard of because it was my very first self-publishing effort, and I made a lot of mistakes along the way. Therefore it is with great pleasure that I can say this revised version is a work...
