Eddie Nketiah scored twice and Bukayo Saka added a late penalty as Arsenal ended their poor run with an exciting victory at Stamford Bridge

There will be a reduced crowd at Stamford Bridge the night. The sanctions against Chelsea mean that season-ticket holders are the only home supporters allowed at the game, though they will be a few thousand Arsenal fans in the away end.

Rangers 3-1 Braga (3-2 agg, aet): Europa League quarter-final – as it happened

Kemar Roofe scored the winner as Rangers finally overcame a Braga side who finished with nine men to reach their first European semi-final since 2008

Northern Ireland 0-5 England: Women’s World Cup qualifying – as it happened

Lauren Hemp and Georgia Stanway both scored twice as England won comfortably in front of a record crowd at Windsor Park

Last month we launched Moving the Goalposts, our free, weekly women’s football newsletter. It’s informative, passionate, entertaining - and did I mention that it’s free?

The Fiver | An admission that perhaps the Premier League is the ‘best in the world’

Sign up now! Sign up now! Sign up now? Sign up now!

The Fiver has a recurring nightmare. It’s October 1992 and Richard Keys, his signature plantation of chest hair fighting its way out of a mustard blazer, is forcibly suggesting that we join him for five hours’ coverage of “The Best League. IN THE WORLD.” We sit through Oldham 1-0 Everton, in which Ian Marshall and Robert Warzycha fight to the death for the Miss of the Season award, only to realise that all our European friends are in another room watching Baresi, Maldini, Van Basten, Rijkaard, Boban, Baggio, Möller, Kohler, Vialli, Casiraghi and AC Jimbo while being fed tagliolini pasta with fresh lobster and black truffles and supping glasses of vintage Giuseppe Quintarelli Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Riserva DOCG.
