And since you probably realize I kind of stink at navigating Goodreads... if there are any librarians out there (or just people more knowledgeable than me - which is just about everyone else on here), can anybody tell me why there are two versions of the book when I search here? And how to make it so that there's only one? Do I need a "librarian" to do that? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! :)

He stands up for her against the wolf Pack and then helps her fix the old generator at the cabin, making it habitable for her while she completes her task. He's friendly and all too attractive, but she has a job to do, regardless of the cost to herself or her budding relationship with the local handyman.

When she performs the ceremony she expects will end in her death, the shifter deity has other ideas and turns the tables on them all. Grif's dual nature is revealed and Lindsey learns there is much more going on than she thought.

Thrown together by fate, neither of them can deny the deep and true attraction between them. They come together, but in the end will an old enemy rip them apart?

Warning: Cats are frisky and they get up to all sorts of naughtiness, including a frenzy-induced multi-partner situation that might be a little intense for some readers. You have been warned.

King's Throne & Bobcat News

As many of you know, King's Throne came out last week and is getting really good reviews. (Yay!)

Bobcat is also up for pre-order on Amazon. (And only Amazon this time around. Sorry.) It'll be on sale on June 9th (or thereabouts) from all the usual ebook retailers.

A lot of people have been asking me for the reading order and I know it's getting a little complicated as all these different sub-series start to coalesce. Let me just say that King's Throne starts a cascade that ends with Tales of the Were: Matt later this year.

While the String of Fate books can each be read on their own - as can the Redstone Clan books - there is an over-arching storyline that is referenced in all of these last four books. So Bobcat references events that happened on the other side of the country in King's Throne. And Jacob's Ladder (coming out later this year) will reference events on the other side of the country that happened in Bobcat. The final book in the cascade, Matt, will bring everything to a head.

So at least for these books, if you want to stick to the internal chronology of the over-arching story, then read them in this order:

- King's Throne
- Bobcat
- Jacob's Ladder
- Matt

The earlier books are more separate and it doesn't matter quite as much which order you read them in except internally, within each sub-series. It's just that everything's culminating here and the timelines are all converging somewhat.

Bobcat Cover Reveal - April 7th

I'm trying something new here on Goodreads. As some of you know, I'm not really that great at navigating this site, but I thought I'd try to follow the advice in a recent Goodreads newsletter about making my upcoming cover reveal an event.

So, on April 7th - that's next Monday - I'm going to post the sexy new cover for Tales of the Were: Bobcat here first, just after 10am Eastern Time. I'll be adding it to Facebook, my website, my blog, etc, a short while later, but you can see it here first. ;-)

I'm not entirely sure how "events" work here on Goodreads. I wonder if it's like facebook, where you can chat on the event page? I guess I'll figure it out as we go along. *shrug*

Pre-order for King's Throne goes up on Amazon, B&N, Kobo & iTunes. The book will release in ebook and print on May 5th! King's Throne is the second book in the String of Fate trilogy that began with Cat's Cradle back in 2009. Sorry it took me so long to get back to the series. The third book of the trilogy should be out later this year. I LOVE this book and I think it was probably worth the wait! :)

I'll try to come back and post links when they go live. I'll also post them all over facebook and my site, etc. Stay tuned! :)

Long Time, No Blog

Just wanted to come directly to Goodreads to let you all know that the blog I had hooked up to cross-post here has died. That's why there haven't been any new blog posts in a long time.

This is the third time I've had a blog die on me and I'm pretty much fed up. I talked to customer service at WordPress and all they could say was that my "database was corrupt" and I should start all over again. *sigh* Yeah, right. I'll get right on that in all my spare time. ;-)

Anyway... things have been happening. The blog died in December, I think it was. Then in January, I had emergency surgery for a bum gall bladder. I realized only then why I'd felt so lousy for so very long. It's about a month since the surgery now and I'm almost back to my old self. Almost. Still have to take it a little easy on the physical exertion, but it's better every day.

Tales of the Were: Magnus came out on Friday. That's the biggest news. Here's a little bit about it...
