Leviathan & a New Series!

Leviathan is mostly through edits and getting ready for formatting. It'll be ready for release on October 4th in ebook format. The print version may release a bit earlier than that. (I can't control print release dates as tightly.) I'm not sure yet about the audiobook edition. That will depend on the narrator's schedule. I'll be sending the final file to her shortly and hopefully she'll be able to fit it in quickly so that it will release somewhere around the same time. (I have even less control over audiobook timing since the approval process has been taking up to two full weeks lately. Grrrrr.)

I have also announced on my facebook group that Leviathan will have some bonus material that I will distribute through my newsletter. If you're not a member of my newsletter list, here's your chance! :) I only send out the newsletter once or twice a month, so it's not like you'll get bombarded with email from me. Promise. ;-)

The new series I've announced is something I'm calling the Wildwood Quartet. It picks up a story line from the Brotherhood of Blood books, particularly Wolf Hills, and follows the events in Leviathan. (I won't say more than that right now so as not to spoil anything before Leviathan comes out.) The first book is titled Dance of the Dryad, and I'll be putting up the preorder for it shortly. The first draft is done and my editor is working on it right now. I'm also deep into writing the second book of the quartet. I'll post more news on that in the coming weeks. That's all for now. FATHOM Audiobook & News

In case you missed it, FATHOM is now available in audiobook format. So, that's the set - FATHOM is out now in ebook, print and audio.

Right now, like the WATERBORN audiobook, it is exclusive to Audible, Amazon and Apple. Sometime next year, I plan to move the whole audiobook trilogy to wider distribution, but it'll be a few months yet.

In other news, I recently announced my next project in my facebook reader group (The D'Arc Side). I'm picking up where LEVIATHAN leaves off and circling back around to something I left hanging in the Brotherhood of Blood story line. Now that I have the rights back to all of those books, I am finally free to continue that story line which has been paused for years. We're going to find the other Daughters of the Dryad and finally help poor Leonora, the dryad I left wounded, hovering between realms inside a willow tree back in WOLF HILLS.

There will be a quartet of books - The Wildwood Quartet - that will allow us to find more of the dryad's descendants who will eventually come together to try to help their ancestor. The first book is currently in edits and is titled DANCE OF THE DRYAD. I haven't finalized the cover art with the artist yet, but we're working on it. I'll probably reveal it in my next newsletter in about 2 weeks.

I'm writing book 2 in the quartet right now and it's going well. I hope to have most of it written before I get the edits back on book 1, but we'll see how it goes. That's all for now. Have a great weekend, everybody! :)

In Other News: Leviathan is in the final stages of editing and will be out in ebook on October 4th. It'll be out a bit earlier than that in print and a little later (most likely) in audiobook format. You can preorder the ebook right now on most of the vendor sites. I'm still working on one or two of the vendors, but it'll be there soon. There will be no preorder for the print or audiobook versions. They'll just go on sale when they're ready.

I'm also working on my next sub-series. The set is called The Wildwood Quartet and it picks up where Leviathan leaves off and swings us back around to a plot line I left dangling a bit a while back in the Brotherhood of Blood series. We're going back to find the rest of the dryad's descendants! If you don't remember the dryad Leonora, she's the one I left in a willow tree back in Wolf Hills. ;-) Now that I have all of those books back under my control, I'm free to go back and deal with poor Leonora. I think she's been waiting long enough. LOL

She gasped. Was he an honest-to-goodness elemental? She’d never met one before, but she had heard about them. They were said to be beings of immense power over one particular element. If water was his domain, then it made total sense that he could direct it as she had seen, so far.

“You are a Water Lord?” she asked, her words a whisper of sound.

Spotify Playlist for Trident Trilogy

Not sure if you guys are interested in this sort of thing, but I made a Spotify playlist that I use while I'm doing tasks for my Trident Trilogy. It's mostly what we used to call New Age/Space Music.
