The Badass is Back in Town!

The title of this blog post has two meanings...

1st) My new book BADASS BEAR is releasing tonight at midnight! It's #9 in the Grizzly Cove series. You can get all the links and info on my site at: https://www.biancadarc.com/badassbear



2nd) I had my surgery on 4/27 and later this week, I have my followup appointment with the surgeon. So far, so good and best of all - the pathology report was GOOD! Thank you all for praying and sending good thoughts!!!

Hey guys - you probably realize I don't hang out on GR much (mostly because I find the site hard to navigate and don't have the time/energy to figure it out). I just wanted to let you all know that I go in for surgery tomorrow and won't be around for a bit while I heal and wait for results to see if I need further treatment. It hasn't been much fun these past few weeks. :(

Anyway... all my old Samhain Publishing titles - including the first several Dragon Knights books are up for preorder now and are already releasing 1/week until July. Check out the preorders now up and spread the word if you know anyone who is looking for some of my earlier books. Thanks! :)

The older books are coming out in ebook first, but print will have to wait until I know what's going on with my health. If I attempt to do it now, I'm certain there will be a lot of mistakes because my head just isn't in the right place to concentrate right now. Sorry.

The NEW book that's coming out on May 23rd is Badass Bear and I hope you all have it on your lists! :)

Sorry for the drive-by post yesterday. lol. Here's a bit more about my new release:

The town doctor is also one of the very few polar bear shifters living in Grizzly Cove. When he's called upon to save the life of a mermaid and help her back from terrible injuries, he finds his usual soft touch missing. She brings out the bear in him - in the most primal way. Could this infuriating mer woman be the ice bear's mate?

Saving Grace & Other News...

As many of you know, Saving Grace came out on Tuesday. Thanks to all who have already read it and left reviews! :)

I wasn't sure how the mermaid thing would go over, but it seems most of you like Grace and her hunky bear shifter, Jack. :)

Some of you might not know that I was asked to write a novella for Celia Kyle's Kindle World. The World launched about 2 weeks ago and has been taking the Kindle Worlds site by STORM!!! My contribution is a story called The Right Spot, which brings in a cameo character here and there that you might recognize from elsewhere in my paranormal world. I retain the rights to my characters, so you'll see him again sometime... either in Grayslake or in my own paranormal series. (I haven't quite decided yet).

Unfortunately, Kindle Worlds is only on Amazon and only in the US. I'm sorry, but I don't make up the rules on that and have no control over it. I wanted to support Celia, and do this project, but those are the mandates we must live by. My apologies.

Other than that, Sea Dragon will be out next month. It's something a little different in my Dragon Knights series. This year, I'm writing 3 books that all revolve around the same 5 characters - 2 dragons, 2 knights, and 1 feisty woman who might just unite them as a family - if pirate attacks and her Sea Captain father don't get in their way.

Sea Dragon is the first of 3 novels based on these characters and one very complicated set of events. All together, the three novels are called The Sea Captain's Daughter trilogy, and I hope to have them all out this year. You can preorder Sea Dragon now, at all the major ebook vendor sites.

Grizzly Cove - New Bear Shifter Series!

Some of you may be aware of my new, spinoff series, Grizzly Cove, by now. For those who are not, the first three stories in this new town are novellas. I'm writing the fourth book right now and it's a full-length novel, in case you're interested. ;-)

The first three books were slated to come out in October, November and December. The first two are now out, with the third on track for 12/22 release.
