The Saga of the Squirrel

Dickens, our 20 lb kitten, likes ground squirrels. He thinks they're wonderful little friends to cavort with, and he'd never hurt one. They do find it a mite confusing when they head for the field, though, and he fishes them back, ever so delicately without a scratch. Hey, he's a French breed (Chartreux). What do you expect?

This gets very confusing, because Cameo, our 6 lb cat hunts and kills things, including birds on the wing. There's this really big cat who's so nice and playful and romp

Something I Should Have Posted A Long Time Ago

I posted this to the usual, "Saddam was a nice guy" crap in a forum:

Wow. All kinds of strategic expertise here.

Um...Saddam offered and paid $26,000 per suicide bomber, Hamas had what was effectively an embassy in Baghdad, as did Abu Nidal and Abu Abbas. So I don't know what "proof" you can have that he didn't support them.

Two of the first things we found when we went in were Roland AA missiles from France and Germany, and German built bunkers, and scads of new former Soviet equipment Russia so

President Obama has said he is "deeply troubled" by the situation in
Iran, where tens of thousands of opposition supporters have called for
fresh elections.

Why, is he afraid we will call for fresh elections here?

Build Party Weekend

Built this (receiver and some of the guts and all disassembly, fitting, timing and assembly)

It is the AK47 assault rifle, and it makes a very distinctive sound when fired at you. For those recent to this subject, yes, it is completely legal to build your own weapon for personal use, as long as you comply with all laws on specifications and operation.
(Hey, Eric Holder: FUCK YOU!)

Reparkerized this (my riot gun, MI police surplus and very well used and worn)($130 shotgun with $1000 of accesories)

There once was a lady from Leeds
Who swallowed a package of seeds.
A giant geranium
Grew out of her cranium
And her mouth was all stuffed up with weeds.

There was an old lady from Ryde
Who ate a bad apple and died.
The apple fermented
Inside the lamented
And made cider inside her inside.

An Argentine Gaucho named Bruno
Said, "There is but one thing that I do know
Women are fine, and sheep are divine,
But a llama is Numero Uno!"

So Furious I Could Start A Revolution Single Handedly

As a veteran, I love my Constitution too much to cheapen it by using it as a tool to restrict people's rights. It is, and always has been, a restriction on the GOVERNMENT. It's but a step from banning flag desecration to banning alcohol (we tried that, if you recall) to regulating relationships (also proposed) to seizing people's assets for the good of soci

Succinct Article on Gun and Ammo Markets

Here:

My comment:

I have plenty of guns and ammo, but I'm still buying when I find deals. It's a moral point. Every time those @#$holes in Washington open their fat yaps, I buy another gun and another grand of ammo, because I can afford to. I'm going to cram it down their political throats with the fist of my bank account until they choke, and I invite every patriotic American to join me. And let's see them try to argue "Common use" when there are a hun
