Monsters of Men on Kindle (and further travels)
As I announced last week, the first two Chaos Walking books are now on Kindle (some of you have been asking) in the US and UK. Well, now, after a few last minute things, so is Monsters of Men, out today, again in both the US and UK. So for all you Kindle fans out there, it's ready.
Also, as a commenter called Beth has mentioned, I'll be touring some schools in Scotland next month, more on that soon, and also some news coming this week, too. Stay tuned!

Chaos Walking on Kindle and Nook
Finally back in the UK, with the news that the Kindle versions of The Knife of Never Letting Go and The Ask and the Answer are out both in the US and the UK for all you Kindle fans out there. There was a slight delay with Monsters of Men but that will be out Monday (25 Oct). Kindle readers, let me know what you think!
And don't forget the FREE Kindle Chaos Walking prequel short story The New World (which seems to keep being reviewed by people who don't know what it is, but hey, that's the internet for you) available in the UK and the US. Really cool stuff all around.
And for all you Nook users on Barnes and Noble who've been asking, the books will be out there soon. The Nook supports embedded fonts, too, so you'll get the Noise is all its messy glory. Keep an eye out!
Greetings to all the new commenters, so much work to do now that travels are (temporarily) done...

Tube photos and Kindle launch
Anyone seen the Monsters of Men Tube posters yet? I haven't! I'm still in America! Fortunately, I've been sent some photographic proof.
Pretty cool, eh? No idea who that guy is.
In other big news, the Kindle versions of all three books look to be out on Monday, so keep an eye out. And don't forget the FREE Chaos Walking short story available in both the US and the UK.
Greetings to all the new commenters from all over the world. Sorry I can't answer all questions at the minute, but I'll try to keep this news bit updated. Cheers!

US wrap-up and Wall Street Journal review
I have finished my whirlwind tour of the US! It was great, too, met tons of people (like Zoe in Portland and Liz in St Paul), signed lots of books, talked to about 4,000 teenagers (not kidding) - all in all, a great time. Now for some well-earned rest!
But first, Monsters of Men got a great review in the Wall Street Journal, which is brilliant. Check it out.
In the meantime, don't forget all the other news (scroll down for all of it): The FREE Chaos Walking short story The New World on Kindle in the US and UK, the UK release of the Monsters of Men paperback, and Posters on the Tube starting tomorrow (see if you can spot 'em).
Greetings to the new commenters: Susan, Larry (Ich verstehe, Larry), Taylor, Suki (it's exclusive on Kindle for October, but who knows what the future might bring?), Maddie, Zoe, Minnie, and Gwen (see Suki).

Tube Ads, US appearances, and local press
Still lots and lots going on. Latest news is that there are going to be ads on the London Underground for the UK paperback of Monsters of Men! Isn't that cool? First time I've ever had them, so starting on Monday, see if you can find one and let me know what you think.
I'm still in America, and I'll be doing public events today (Thursday) at Third Place Books in north Seattle and on Saturday at The Wordstock Festival (at noon and 5pm). In connection with Wordstock, I've done an interview for Willamette Week. Check it out!
Lots of cool new commenters, welcome, and don't forget the FREE Chaos Walking short story available on Kindle in both the US and the UK.

On the road (and free Chaos Walking short story link)
I'm writing this from Cedarburg, WI, and I've been on the road for a bit now, starting with the brilliant Red Hot Rebel Read project at Champlin Park High School in Minnesota. What a GREAT couple days that was, just a terrific project and met loads of great people. About 3000 of them, to be exact. Couldn't have been happier to be asked.
Nice meeting a good number of you at The Red Balloon Bookstore on Saturday as well. I've got another public signing at Third Place Books in Seattle this Thursday at 4pm and at the Wordstock Festival in Portland on Saturday.
And don't forget, the FREE Chaos Walking short story The New World is available FREE on Kindle on both Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk. Did I mention it was FREE? It's a 23-page short story about how Viola reached New World. And it's FREE! Full Kindle and other ebook versions of all three books should be available on 18 October.
And there's even MORE news, in that the UK paperback of Monsters of Men is out on Tuesday, the German version of Monsters of Men came out on Friday, and the audio versions of all three books are also out in the US. What more can I give?
Greeting to all the new commenters who've backed up a bit while I've been travelling, and more to come soon...

Monsters of Men is out!
Monsters of Men is now out in the US! I'm sorry you've had to wait so long, but it's finally here. I can't wait to hear what you think. Not just that, but US audio versions of all three books are also published today (UK versions will be out just after the first of the year).
But wait, there's more! I can - at last - announce that Kindle versions of all three books will be released worldwide on 18 October. There's also going to be a very special treat for Kindle users starting early next week: a completely free download of "The New World", a prequel story to Chaos Walking about how Viola reached the planet in the first place. This will be available to Kindle users in the US and UK, and I'll put up a link when I've got one.
And I'm also coming to America. I've got public events in Minnesota on Thursday and Saturday (Suzanne Collins fans should check out that one), and in Seattle next Thursday and Portland, Oregon, on Saturday the 9th. It'd be great to meet some of you there.
And of course, Monsters of Men is out in Germany on Friday, too. Busy week for me! Greetings to all the new commenters. More news coming soon...

Just four days to go before the US release of Monsters of Men! Lots happening all at once, too. Scroll down for word on audio versions of all three books (released the same day), and any minute now I should some interesting Kindle news to share... Stay tuned.
And then of course, I'm coming to America next week, too! Next Thursday and Saturday, I've got public events in Minnesota, then more after that in Seattle and Portland (including the Wordstock Literary Festival on 9 October). Check

Counting Down for US Monsters of Men
That's right, the wait is nearly over! We're one week away from the official US publication of Monsters of Men. It comes out on 28 September, and I'll be in America one day later, with public events in Minnesota, Seattle and Portland. It'd be great to meet some of you.
Even better, 28 September is also the release of the unabridged audio versions of all three books in the US, which is really cool. All you audiobook fans out there, let me know what you think! A UK version will be out just ...

Wordstock Festival
For the final stop on my American tour (which includes public events in Minnesota and Seattle, too, so check it out), I'll be appearing at the Wordstock Book Festival in Portland, Oregon on Saturday, 9 October. I have two events, a panel at 12noon and a solo event at 5pm. Ticket info is here, and it looks like one ticket gets you into the whole Festival for the day, which is great. Hope to see you there.
Greetings to the new commenters from around the world (and feel free to share your...
