I’m deactivating my...

Hello!  If you’re in America, I’ve just put up dates for my US book tour for Release in the Events section.  Come along!  All free!  I’ll be in New York, Philadelphia, DC/Chevy Chase, Chicago, Austin and Seattle in September.  A few dates with Adam Silvera, too!  Can’t wait to see you.

And shooting on the Chaos Walking movie starts next week!  Amazing, I know, after all this time.  Cast includes Tom Holland as Todd, Daisy Ridley as Viola, Mads Mikkelsen as Mayor Prentiss, Nick Jonas as Davy,...

The UK and US covers for Release have been revealed!  The UK cover is the pathway one and is out in the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and Denmark in May, and the railway one is the US cover and is out there and Canada in September.  I can’t wait for you to read this one.  I talk about it a little here to Buzzfeed.  Hope you like it!  Not long now…

Hey, guys, I know, I’ve been remiss here, but I promise to keep it up better. For now, the two big things are that A Monster Calls opens in the US (limited) on 23 December and wide on 6 January, and opens nationwide in the UK on 1 January. Hope you like it!

And the complete series of Class is up now on BBC Three and BBC iPlayer! Have a look.

Next year brings a new book, too, Release. So lots to come! Events and touring, too.

More soon about everything. All best. Patrick

And really, I’m from a small town where absolutely nobody famous comes from or anyone does anything like write books. If I can get here from there, you really can, too, I mea...
