Stepsister is Nominated for a Carnegie Award!
Big news! I am thrilled to announce that Stepsister, my new novel that explores the true meaning of beauty, has been nominated for a Carnegie Medal! This is the UK’s prestigious young-adult literature award and it’s very special to me — I won it several years ago for A Northern Light (A Gathering Light in the UK), and it has been on display in my office ever since! Thank you to the award committee, and congratulations to all the nominees — I’m honored to be in such company!
