54% of Christians Admit to Viewing PornographyOver Half Are Okay with It

The Western church is in troubleit seems every study that comes out paints a grimmer picture of the state of the church. Consider a new study from Barna which found a shocking 54% of practicing Christians admit to viewing pornographythats a mere 14% difference from non-Christians (68%). And it gets worse.

The study found that 75% of Christian men and 40% of Christian women reported consuming porn on some level. Seventy-five percent of men and nearly half of women! And, appar...

What About Rape, Incest, and Life of the Mother?

Have you ever talked to a Christian who says theyre pro-life but theyre for, or at least okay with, the exceptions? These exceptions are almost always included with any pro-life legislation: abortion is okay in cases of rape, incest, or when the life of the mother is at risk.

How should Christians think about these tragic cases?

Rape and Incest

Well, lets start with the rape and incest exceptions. There are two truths that must guide our thinking in this area.

Are You Equipped for the Challenges of Marxism?

Many of our politicians are proclaiming a false gospel of Marxism to the cultureits permeating society, classrooms, and even the church. And it can be subtle or even disguised as Christian compassion. How can we recognize it, and how should we respond?

Well, Im excited to announce a new book by AiGs Patricia EnglerModern Marxism. Patricia has traveled to many of the places where Marxism has taken root, studied the persecuted church that persevered under these regimes, and gleaned ...

Andy Stanley: You Only Have to Believe Two Miracles to Be a Christian

Pastor Andy Stanley is in the headlines once again for a sermon he recently preached at his church. He began a new series with the question, Do you have to believe in miracles to be a Christian? His answer? Yes, but only two foundational miraclesthe miracle of the universe and the miracle of the resurrection.

He argues that those two miracles are all you need to believe to be a Christian but that believing them opens the door to making the other miracles more acceptable....

The End and the Beginning

Im sure youve heard the old proverb attributed to the fourteenth-century English poet Geoffrey Chaucer, All good things must come to an end. Apparently, the original statement was closer to Everything has an end.

But not everything has an end! I particularly think about this in regard to my good friend and brother in Christ, the late Buddy Davis. Buddy recently departed this earth for his heavenly home. So Buddys ministry on earth endedor did it?

God gifted Buddy with so m...
