The End and the Beginning

Im sure youve heard the old proverb attributed to the fourteenth-century English poet Geoffrey Chaucer, All good things must come to an end. Apparently, the original statement was closer to Everything has an end.

But not everything has an end! I particularly think about this in regard to my good friend and brother in Christ, the late Buddy Davis. Buddy recently departed this earth for his heavenly home. So Buddys ministry on earth endedor did it?

God gifted Buddy with so m...

Evolution Observed in Just 30 Years?

Last week I wrote about a startling study that was supposed to illustrate powerful evidence for evolution by showing that elephants evolve into elephants. Well, I have another one for you this week thats just as shockingmarine snails that evolved into . . . marine snails! (Okay, I am speaking tongue in cheek again!)

Here are the details: On a tiny rocky islet (a skerry) off the coast of Sweden, lived a group of marine snails . . . until a toxic algal bloom killed the entire populatio...

The BibleIs It True or Is It Truth? (And Does It Matter?)

I just had to sigh and shake my head when I read a recent article titled Is the Bible True? Or Is It Truth? The article pokes fun at those who read the Bible literally, specifically calling out the global flood account as pretty farfetched. But the reasons he gives for why the story of Noah is a tough nut to crack are the same skeptical objections weve addressed for years!

Here are the objections author Scott Pinsker brings up, followed by a short answer with links to ...

Were So Grateful for Faithful Pastors

October is Pastor Appreciation Monthand I wanted to take the opportunity to say how grateful and appreciative we are of every single faithful pastor who serves his congregation by preaching the truth of Gods Word each week. If thats you, please know how vital your role is and how thankful we are for your faithfulness.

One of the most common questions I am asked when speaking around the country or meeting guests at our attractions is Where can I find a church that stands on the author...

Does Biblical Inerrancy Necessitate Believing in a Young Earth?

Many pastors, Christian leaders, theologians, and seminary professors believe in biblical inerrancythey affirm that Gods Word is without error, infallible, and authoritative. And yet many of these same Christians either add mans word into Genesis when it comes to millions of years and/or evolution or they refuse to take a position on these topics. So does belief in biblical inerrancy necessitate belief in a young earth and a literal Genesis?

Well, Dr. Terry Mortenson, one of our speaker...

Astronaut Who Walked on Moon Visits Ark Encounter

What an honor it was to personally show General Charlie Duke, the tenth and youngest astronaut to walk on the moon (back in April 1972), and his family through the Ark Encounter last week.

Oh, I did ask him, What does the earth look like from the moon? He replied, A sphere spinning in space. So, no, the earth isnt flat!

General Duke and his wife have a Christian ministry, teaching on marriageand they speak all over the world. General Duke also speaks at various conferences about...
