Kay Arthur, Author of Over 100 Books and Bible Studies, Passes Away at 91

If there is only one thing that will be remembered about Kay Arthur, the founder of Precept and a gifted Bible teacher who inspired countless people to read and study Gods Word inductively, its this: She loved the Word of God. And because of her love for Gods Word, she loved what we do here at Answers in Genesis, the Creation Museum, and the Ark Encounter.

She leaves behind a life well lived for the Lord and a legacy of teaching others to love, study, and apply Gods Word to their liv...

Did Intelligence Evolve At Least Twice?

Humans have a unique level of intelligence. Although some people vehemently deny that humans are unique, its obvious even to a child that we are totally different from everything else. (After all, when was the last time you saw a group of elephants sitting around having a deep philosophical discussion?) But the unique intelligence of humans doesnt mean animals arent intelligentGod has gifted many of them with impressive intellectual abilities.

A recent article highlighted the intelli...

Worlds Largest and Smallest Dogs MeetAnd Illustrate Biblical Truth

Last month, a dog playdate was in the news because the worlds tallest dog and the worlds shortest dog met for the first time. And, well, it was quite the contrast!

Smallest and largest dog

Reggie, the worlds tallest living dog, is a 3'4" Great Dane. Pearl, the worlds shortest living dog, is a 3.6" chihuahua. Shes the size of a dollar bill and is absolutely dwarfed by the gangly Reggie. Now, why am I reporting on this feel good dog story?

Well, its a great example of variety within a kind!

God...

3 Ways to Spot Bad Homeschool Curriculum

There are a lot of homeschool curriculum options available to parents todayits almost overwhelming how many choices there arefrom complete everything-in-a-box curricula to electives to enhancements. But not all curricula are created equal, and some can even be downright dangerous. So how can we be discerning?

Just because a curriculum markets itself as Christian doesnt mean it truly is or that it will build your child up in their faith or help them establish a truly biblical wo...

Yes, Science Is Good but Not the Way BioLogos Thinks

BioLogos is an organization that exists to try to convince Christians to add evolution and millions of years into the Bible. Recently they published An Open Letter to People of Faith About Science in which they announced their new Science is Good initiative. Now, I agreescience is good. Scientific discovery is a gift from our Creator. But when I say science is good, I dont mean the same thing as BioLogos!

BioLogos begins their open letter by lamenting the growing distrust...

A Catastrophic Anniversary: 3 Lessons Mount St. Helens Still Teaches

Scientists knew it was only a matter of time. And on May 18, 1980, their predictions came true: Mount St. Helens, a geologically active volcano in Washington state, violently blew its top as steam spewed with the force of 20 megatons of TNT. The largest observed landslide in recorded history was immediately triggered, and a volcanic blast decimated 230 square miles in seconds. It was a catastrophe for life, property, and the pristine wilderness on the slopes of the mountain. And it still teache...

Kids Still Free in 2025

Once again, kids 10 and under receive free admission to the Creation Museum and Ark Encounter this year. Its all part of our commitment to help families raise up godly offspring and be equipped to impact generations with the truth of Gods Word and the gospel.

Some families tell me they come to the Ark and Creation Museum every year because their children learn and understand more each time as they grow in spiritual maturity. Some tell me they come multiple times a year because their family...

Are Native American Histories Accurate?

You may not think, at first glance, that an article about the oral traditions of the Picuris Pueblo, a small tribal nation in New Mexico, would have anything to do with Answers in Genesis. But new genetic research into the Picuris Pueblo people confirms something very interestingand ties in with new AiG research.

First, the story. The oral traditions of this tribal nation state that they descended from ancient North American ancestors, specifically those living in ancient pueblo sites in Nort...
