Go to bed, Brooklyn. It's late.
Jawbone, the maker of the Up fitness-tracking wristband, just published another study that looks at the sleep habits of Up wearers across the United States. This time, the goal was to figure out which cities went to bed the latest and compile all that data into an interactive map, which you can check out here.

Plastc Combines 20 Credit Cards Into One
Unfortunately, the idea is probably hitting 10 years too late.
You simply swipe through your credit cards, choose which one you want to use, and you can pay through the close proximity of an NFC chip. I'm not describing the iPhone 6 or Apple Watch. I'm talking about a new credit card called Plastc.

Why Do Women Negotiate For Less Than They Deserve At Work?
Recent research has found that women aren't negotiating well. Here's how to up your game.
Recently, I interviewed a video production company owner who told me the starting salary for one position at her company is $65,000. As a shrewd business person, her opening offer to prospective hires is $60,000. Invariably, she says, the men she's interviewing ask for $70,000 while the women say "okay" to the initial offer. She said too few women negotiate well overall.

A Businessweek report suggests the yet-to-be-launched app will be free for a limited time before a monthly subscription fee kicks in.
When Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos purchased the Washington Post last August, some wondered if his relationship to the world's largest e-commerce company would pose a conflict of interest for the newspaper. Longreads: Now Publishing Original Storytelling
Parent company Automattic/WordPress.com will now match reader contributions to help Longreads produce original journalism.
In 2009, Mark Armstrong launched a simple Twitter hashtag called #longreads, which was designed to "collect stories (nonfiction & fiction) for commuters who use @instapaper." Even though the concept of the longread wasn't new (we used to call them features!), the idea of handpicking the best narrative-driven journalism with a minimum 1,500 word count resonated with media types and voracious readers alike. In an endless ocean of takes and gif-driven listicles, being selected as a choice #longread became a badge of honor.

China Has Hacked Every Major U.S. Business, FBI Chief Says
"There are two kinds of big companies in the U.S. Those who've been hacked by the Chinese and those who don't know they've been hacked."
China may not be threatening the United States militarily, but it is certainly engaging U.S. companies in a costly cyber war, FBI director James Comey told 60 Minutes on Sunday, and no major business is immune.
