Here Are All The Countries That Have Sealed Themselves Off From Their Neighbors
An infographic from The Economist shows which countries have constructed fences along their borders over history and why.
This week, Hungary completed construction of a fence along its Serbian border to keep out refugees trying to enter the European Union, a move that has sparked controversy worldwide. Opponents argue the fence not only shows a lack of compassion for people fleeing war and persecution, but that it also violates E.U. laws. On Wednesday, Hungarian police unleashed tear gas and pepper spray against hundreds of asylum-seekers trying to break through the fence.

Y Combinator Is Touring Colleges This Fall
Starting this week, Y Combinator is making its way across North America to find and mentor budding tech talent.
This fall, Y Combinator, a prominent startup incubator in Silicon Valley, is kicking off a road show. Partners at the firm and Y Combinator alumni are visiting six different universities in cities across North America starting this week, to scout for promising startups and impart advice to budding engineers and entrepreneurs. According to a blog post, Y Combinator will hold office hours for one-on-one meetings, as well.










Snapchat Is Now Hosting Exclusive Live Stories From The NFL
Each week, the NFL will create video content specifically for Snapchat using fan-submitted Snaps and footage from live games.
In its ongoing quest to compete with major content distribution platforms like Twitter and Facebook, Snapchat has now snapped up a high-profile partner. On Thursday, the NFL announced that, as of this season, it is producing weekly videos for Snapchat, which will show up in the app's Live Story section.
