Sunday Sights – Building – Singapore

I love the buildings in Singapore. There’s a mix of old and new everywhere you go.

I love the older buildings the most. They have character and history and I can imagine all the people who’ve used them, what they’ve been used for. What I really love is the way the old isn’t torn down to make way for the new. They just build around them. (and yes in that last pic the high-rise is gold!)

What’s your city/town like? Do you have new and old, all new, all old? Curious minds want to know.

Let’s Talk Home

That building there is currently my home. Well not the whole building, just part of the 27th floor.

Sunday Slang (AKA learn to speak Australian)

I share some Aussie slang in my FaceBook reader group every now and then but I’ve decided to start doing it here too. This week’s Aussie Slang is –

Youse (you plural) – ‘Youse guys ought to have a look at this.’

Also, did you know Aussie is pronounced Ozzie?

Sunday Sights – Cambodia

Last year Mr.C and I took a trip to Cambodia. It’s been on my bucket list for years and I was so thrilled we finally got to go. Although I wasn’t too thrilled about the roadside snacks our tour guide stopped to get.

Anyone hungry?

And in case you’re curious about what you’re eating….. (from top to bottom) fried worms/grubs, fried crickets, fried frogs, and fried bugs & fried cicadas.

Oh, and if that wasn’t appetizing enough, right along side those tasty morsels you can grab a bottle of petrol for your car or bike.

Let’s talk hobbies!

Who’s got a hobby? (AKA obsession) Let’s assume everyone reading this has one hobby. READING!!

I’m not talking about that one. We can agree on the fact it’s probably the best one.

How long?

Two years!

It’s been two years since Mr.C and I boarded a plane on May 9, 2016 and headed to Singapore to live.

We’d done it before back in ’07 but this time is was just the two of us. Instant empty nest. The bizarre thing about that is for years I kept saying to get an empty nest Mr.C and I would have to fly. How right I was!

So much has changed for us in the last two years. Two grandbabies arrived. I’d like to say they were spread out nicely over those twenty-four months but noooooo……our kids had to have them SIX MONTHS APART!!!!

o.O

Not that we’re complaining. Fynn and Indigo are the bestest, cutest, most gorgeous Gbabies in the history of Gbabies. No, I’m not biased at all.

New cover same story!

I recently re-released a short *super hot* story I wrote a few years ago. It has a sexy new cover but the sexy inside is the same so if you picked up SHUT UP AND KISS ME when it originally released you don’t need to grab it again. Well unless you want the new sexy outfit.
