Knowledge Is Power 44

130 cups of tea would be a lethal dose of caffeine.
Ah…I’m going to assume this means at once and not over a week…

Wednesday’s Words
Braindead.
Brain. Dead.
One or two words?
I’ve been in the editing cave with Jack and Alyssa and I think they broke my brain.
Have you pre-ordered your copy of Flyboy yet?

Tuesday’s Teaser – Flashback #tuesdaysteaser
He was a dead man.
No, not dead. The hard-on in his pants proved his heart was still pumping blood.
Jeez, how did a woman barely over five feet have legs that long? Thank god Mercy-Life’s uniform pants didn’t show Mazey’s spectacular limbs as well as those . . .
What were those things clinging to her ass? Shorts? Panties?
Christ. Was she only wearing panties to answer the door?
And what was with the stuff all over her shirt. The one that did nothing to hide the fact she wasn’t wearing a bra!
Hi...

What does it take?
It takes a village! Or people other than just me!
What am I talking about? Getting one of my stories into your readerly hands!
It takes me days or weeks or months (depending on the length of a story and whether Mr. Muse is being cooperative) to finish a book. Then it takes a few hours or days to spit-polish that thing before I send it to my editor.
MY EDITOR IS GOD!!!No, really, she is a God among us humans because only an all-forgiving divine entity would overlook the dumb shit I put in my sto...

Sunday Sights – Singapore – Cars
One thing about Singapore that blows my mind is the number of (what I would consider) luxury cars. The other thing is it costs soooo…… much money to get a vehicle here that the cost of these cars is….well, it’s ridiculous! and beyond the average person’s means.

The first pic shows two cars you can hire to take for a spin. They sit outside the Marina Bay Sands hotel and we often hear them racing down the ECP (which is the road in front of our building) in the middle of the night.
The next two ...

You’re expecting what?
Yeah, so apparently there are a HEAP of readers who are expecting signed books from me. And apparently that goes all the way back to……..well, I did say it was the year that wasn’t, right?

If you’re expecting a book from me it’s on the way!
Mr.C and I took a trip to the post office today. Of course it started to rain the second we left our building but luckily it was only a light drizzle instead of the usual drown everything in sight kind of rain. Good thing because we had a ton of stuff to post...

New Inmate in the Princess Tower
Sooooo…….this time last year I was waiting for the arrival of a new tower resident. It’s hard to believe it was a year ago today that Twix flew from Sydney to Singapore to join us in this expat life. It’s also hard to believe that I’ve not once mentioned her arrival. You know what that means, right?
Yep, I’m going to spam all my social with cat pix!

As you can see, she’s doing it tough.
Twix is actually #TheKid’s cat but he moved out and left her at our house in Sydney were #PrincessOne’s and #...

Throwback Thursday – All Of You #TBT
OMG! It’s been over 7 years since I self-published All Of You after my publisher returned the rights and almost 10 years since Ryan and Claire first hit ereaders. Crazy to think how long ago that was!
Anyway, I thought I’d give you all a blast from the past with an excerpt from All Of You.
Claire Jones never thought the fantasies she’d been having about the hot—younger—guy next door would ever turn into her reality but after a push from her best friend and an encounter involving dirty laundry, ...

A Year in Words
[image error]
I mentioned in my post the other day that I was shocked at the number of words I wrote last year. I honestly thought the number would be low and I guess that comes from having only released three books and a bonus epilogue. The epilogue of course was short but two of those books were also short, at only 15,000 words each.
But here’s the thing. Just because I wrote the words that year doesn’t mean the story releases that year. Which explains why I was pleasantly surprised to discover I wrote 298...

What’s on the TBR? #RecommendedRead
What’s on your to-be-read pile? My pile is more like a mountain, but you can never have too many books, right?
The book on the top of that heap is The Heir Of Shadows by Candice Wright. This is the 4th book in her Underestimated series.
I loved the first three books in the series and I’m about a third of the way in on Shadows and Candice has no let me down with this one.
I should warn you though, this series is about women who find their HEA with more than one guy and those guys are part of the ...
