Just try Writing
From an old post on 43 Folders about writer's block:
On the other hand, remember Laurence Olivier.
One day on the set of Marathon Man, Dustin Hoffman showed up looking like shit. Totally exhausted and practically delirious. Asked what the problem was, Hoffman said that at this point in the movie, his character will have been awake for 24 hours, so he wanted to make sure that he had been too. Laurence Olivier shook his head and said, "Oh, Dusty, why don't you just try acting?"
So, when all else fails, just try writing.

Lights Out in Wonderland by DBC Pierre
I find only two types [of police] worthy of trust: one is the passionate naif, and the other, especially given that the largest crime organization of any state is by definition its police force, us the agent who is corrupt. Because he will live in a crucible of enthusiasms: of risk, secrecy, and turmoil, requiring bold improvisation, and contact with reckless fortune-and this at least gives us some common understanding as creatures.
"When you think of the long and gloomy history of man, you will find more hideous crimes have been..."

Evernote Gets $50 Million in Funding, Plus an FAQ
You know what's really cool? Making a hundred year company.
That's a pretty big deal; not many companies make it anywhere close, but we sort of signed up for the task when we started talking about earning your lifetime trust. You plan on living a long time, right?
So when we make any big decision, whether in fund-raising, or product design, or partnership strategy, we ask, "would this make it more or less likely that we'll be around in a hundred years", and if the answer is less we don't do it. This financing is just one more solid step in building the hundred year company.
And that's why I use Evernote.
